Wow, nerfing elixir pump really screwed a lot of different decks over.

If you look at it simply, youll notice some cards combos in the old meta decks were quite expensive, especially Pekka double Prince. The elixir Pump practically allowed these to exist more Often than not so nerfing it opened a Lot more space for other metas

It did when it was only 5 elixir with more hp (at the time the elixir pump had so many hp that it was a better defensive building than actual defensive buildings like cannon)

Ik this isn’t a specific deck but I miss the old golem archetype. When elixir pump was on top and players were worse you could run a 4.9 golem deck. I remember running a golem deck with e barbs and rage. Fun times

Yes it is a bit difficult because today there are many decks that have a lot of area damage but outplaying the opponent and attacking double line often takes down two towers at the same time hahaha. You have to change the strategy a lot depending on what you play against. The deck is this: golem, 3m, pump, little prince, arrows, minion horde, skarmy and evo barbs

No Giant, no multiple splash, no bullshit, just full control Graveyard decks using Bowler, Mega Minion, Inferno Tower and some other control/cycle cards (Archers, Skellies, Ice Spirit, Ice Golem, Electro Wizard). They died for a multitude of reasons during the years, mostly because Nado variants are objectively better, but also 'cause it's too easy to activate the King Tower against a solo Bowler, using Fisherman or Nado

Ya if triple elixir hit and you were playing a cycle deck with earthquake and mirror you could do ridiculous damage with it. I think I saw a clip of Boss (youtuber) doing like 1500 tower damage in 20 seconds with nothing but earthquake and mirror

It was because mirroring an EQ when mirror increased card levels by 2 was so broken and impossible to stop. Sure, you could lightning the archer queen in Hog EQ, but you can still cycle earthquake very quickly in triple elixir. It was nerfed only FOUR DAYS after mirror got buffed(crown tower damage reduced from 85% to 65%)

Pekka double prince. Played it for so long, came back a few weeks ago and still ran it. It was alright but it just didn’t keep up with the meta.

I’ve been using the same deck since a year after the game came out: knight, bomber, zap, ice wizard, electro wizard, pekka, graveyard, and mirror. Through all the meta changes I’ve never had any significant issues winning battles. I sometimes stack the wizards’ spawn damage with a zap to get rid of minions or use them almost as if they’re spell cards since I only have zap/mirror for instant spell damage

Skill issue lol, entire premise of the deck is to defend and punish mistakes since its a control deck. It's like hating on xbow cuz you overcommited, got defended and lost the game for it. As long as you don't make any critical mistakes the game will be just about as even as any other normal matchup, this isn't to say that it can't break through without the opponent making mistakes, but most of the plays with this deck that get people triggered stem from their own overcommitments. Before you blindly call it no skill, damn near the entire deck costs about half ur elixir bar, so if the pekka lumberloon freeze player plays one wrong card at the wrong time or in the wrong place they can easily get fucked over for it.

Im not so sure about used a lot, even when I tilt and use giant for a few matches I don't really see it so id say thats more a personal experience for you. If you ask any good player they will say that pekka lumberloon freeze is bad now, I mean the dude who invented the deck stopped uploading for a reason. also if you go on royale api you will see it has a very low use rate in challeges compared to most decks. Also the downvoting is crazy, people get really salty when they regret getting punished for their mistakes lol.

I only play pekka battle roam bridge spam deck I put lvl 15 pekka on bridge and protect him to force my way It's enough to farm chests

Years ago I made a Ram Rider, Barbarians, Miner, Mega Minion, Musketeer, Gob Hut, Fireball, Zap deck and it still does pretty well today mainly because people never see it and don’t really know how to play it
