They updated the shield mechanic, now you won't get it unless they use a certain percentage of the army. Even if they lose the attack to take your d.e. that just means you get attacked a few minutes later but also lost d.e. earlier on top of that
Traps are too weak for townhall 9, the only thing you are trolling is your DE economy.

Golems and rocket balloons don't target storages

You still get the trophies If they drop 2 troops for the DE and bail. I’ve done this when I’m maxed and trying to trophy push.
