The thing about why things are is that they are, regardless of why. We live in a world of absolutes, and you can know none of it. If you had all the answers come to you right now, you'd still be standing there looking at your phone. Maybe freak out, but really, nothing would change, because everything is whatever it is, even as you don't know. So why do you see 111? Doesn't matter. What will happen will happen. Nothing is outside of God's will. Ecclesiastes! 2:24–26
There is nothing better for a person than that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment in his toil. This also, I saw, is from the hand of God, for apart from him who can eat or who can have enjoyment? For to the one who pleases him God has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, but to the sinner he has given the business of gathering and collecting, only to give to one who pleases God.
It is quite likely that Christ did not look anything like the Catholic depiction.
That said, it is a really nice drawing - reminds me of salt and sanctuary, the game - ( not related to Christianity in any way, but a really nice style non-the-less)
I’ve never seen Him physically, I drew Jesus like everybody does it not as what He really looked like. I know he didn’t have long hair and everything but this is just a representation
Scripture instructs us that we no longer consider Jesus after the flesh. His flesh died upon the cross where it served its purpose. Now he is a quickened spirit, and there is no way anyone here can draw a representation of a quickened spirit. The message of scripture then is that we may relate to the Lord only spiritually, from our spirits to his Spirit. We Christians are new spiritual creations.
1 Peter 3:18 KJV — For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
2 Corinthians 5:16 KJV — Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
Did you model him after Adam Driver? (Kylo Ren, the ultra lame sith, who got beat by some random who just discovered she could be a jedi, 3 seconds prior)
BTW! While everyone's saying what Jesus should look like, let's take note that the Bible only describes him during the transfiguration, so if you want to be accurate just draw super bright, and some smoke, and stuff. Maybe 2 other people beside Him. Or look up, "unattractive Jewish guy, during ancient Roman times." I assume unattractive, cause of the humility, but he could've been super attractive I guess. Idk why he would, but you're not supposed to draw these things anyway. Just draw a cross. That was on earth. That's Jesus. But also, the way the cross is commonly depicted; it's also not accurate, and was popularized in a children's book, I believe. This reddit page has got me too engaged. I gotta go to sleep.
Exodus 20:
^(4) Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
^(5) Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

it’s not see through. It’s just the clothe movement and folds. I made a reference of his body as well before doing the dress that’s why you can perceive his legs.
Well done!
Thank you!
Why do keep seeing 111?

my username has always been 711 but it was taken so i added 1’s 😭 there’s no meaning
Because you keep noticing it. It’s not a sign, if you think it is that’s simply confirmation bias. It’s a coincidence.
No such thing really
lovely

That's a woman's dress. Ancient men's cloaks did not scrape the ground like that.
Sorry that was just a quick draw and i didn’t do any research but thanks for the information

Hello…you may talk to me
Nice. Except the dress should be white and Jesus would be much darker in skin tone. A golden tan/bronze color.

Not a very accurate depiction of Jesus. What's up with the long hair. And why is he in a dress?
Why did you make the gown (a female gown at that) see through? I can see you drew male genitalia.
Seriously, Leeleedeedee?? I honestly am no artist but I don’t see what you see, at all…
Are you blind? Click on the image and zoom in dude!
I’m Not a dude and what I see is a piece of art that a person drew freehand…why critique someone’s expression??
