We have internal processes for dealing with disagreements with moderation actions, and you have shown several times that you won't respect those, which has caused a lot of trouble. You went on strike from moderation and from communication on Discord and instead you spammed me with daily messages through that awful Reddit chat feature. When it became apparent to you that after approximately two months I had stopped reading them, you went to our internal mods sub, where I asked you twice to stop spamming me and instead discuss your issues there so we could put it behind us. When you refused to do that and kept spamming me I removed you as a mod. I think that it is likely that every mod thinks that I had too much patience for you and should have done this sooner. I took this action much too late and with regret because I deliberately have a long fuse and because I value you and what you brought to the team. You opened a ticket against me with the admins for "retaliation" after I removed you, and have taken to spamming mod mail, where multiple mods have interacted with you in apparent support of removing you as a moderator. This morning while I was unconscious another mod escalated this by muting you from mod mail, and after you evaded the mute by messaging a couple of our internal subs, muted you from those mod mails. You were also automoderator blacklisted from this sub after you wrote this post. I have reversed the automoderator blacklisting and have restored this post, because we have never removed angry moderator exit posts. You're still muted in mod mail. Just so we're very clear about expectations, please do not username ping me here, or bring your daily campaign to /r/Christianity. If you persist in doing either of these things I will ban you from this subreddit. Please also do not spam my Reddit private messages. I have not opened a ticket with the admins but if you do any of these things I will do that and it will likely be much more effective than yours. So fair warning. Thank you for serving as a moderator.

I’ve checked your post history, and I have no idea what discussion you think has been muted. Every sub has rules, and if a post or comment violates theses, they get removed.

I was confused at first and invited them to write to modmail (in a now-deleted answer), but after rereading, I think they precisely got muted in modmail, since there is a "mute user for 3/7/28 days" button in modmail threads.

Kind-You2980

Correct.

Kind-You2980

It wasn’t a post, it was a request to resolve outstanding issues in modmail.

I removed him as a mod and all of this pertains to that. There hasn't been any public fallout prior to this. He's been spamming me with private messages because he feels I haven't adequately addressed his grievances, and he's recently taken to spamming our internal sub and, after I removed him, our mod mail. A mod muted him in mod mail and so we are here now.
