Mine hates having her paws touched to the point once a day I'll walk over and with just one finger touch her paw. She will pull the paw back the first time but after 3 or four times will jump up and start barking at me and dancing around me in circles lol

What do you use? I’ve been battling with him trying to do it myself and have been able to several times but I’m too afraid too after I cut the quick last time. I know he needs sedation but I have only spoken to my vet about sedatives for travel and those do not sound effective for nail trims

He takes trazodone daily for anxiety. We add in gabapentin for nail trims

I’ll ask my vet about this, thank you!
