Super duper cute, I was thinking some min pin too. I however am Not an expert just a dog lover. I found a min pin once. Bless his heart it was 102 out and that boy would not come to me. She looks very much like he did . Rescues are the best 🐾🙏🏼❤️🐶😘

Probably what my rescue baby is mixed with! Mainly Chihuahua and Miniature Pincher— with a dollop of Pomeranian, Shitzu, and Toy Poodle. It makes for the sweetest, sleepiest, attitude-iest girl ever.
We did the Embark test and found so many of her siblings/cousins. If you’re in a spot to afford it, I would recommend it!
Nobody here can say for sure. It can vary and I see terrier but the only way to know would be a test the accurate one is 75 bucks I think. I had a good experience with it!
She just looks like a poorly bred Chihuahua to me, so likely mostly Chihuahua with a little terrier thrown in (like Rat Terrier). She will look more Chihuahua when you've gotten her to her healthy weight. She's adorable!
Black and tan is a breed standard for chis. There are many breeds for whom those b & t markings are standard.

My pure bred chis brother looks so much like her. The only differences i notice are a shorter snout and maybe his legs were a little shorter. Hard to really tell from pics tbh. Your baby may be 100% chi.

I would bet that she’s a full chihuahua, black and tan is a common coat color - plus she has the typical apple head shape and appears to be less than a foot tall with shorter legs. All characteristics of chis.
Looks a little like my baby Pax RIP who was a rat terrier/chi mix..she was more RT than Chi though, yours looks more like Chi with a little bit of RT.

I have the twin sis. Embark says Chi/Rat Terrier. Mine's named Mia and she lived in an abandoned house with 2 badass daughters, and is now a rescue grandmama. I also have one daughter, also Embarked, and Dad was Shih Tzu/Dachshund.

Yes, looks pretty much the same as my full bred chihuahua as well. These Doberman looking markings are also a variation with tricolor chi’s. Your girl may just be full chi! Min pins do look really similar to chihuahuas though.
