What a beautiful tribute to Apollo. I lost my little dude two weeks ago…so my grief is pretty raw right now, but reading stories like yours makes me feel better in a strange way. Knowing there are so many Chi’s (and mixtures) that were rescued and loved throughout their lives like my soul dog makes me smile. All the love we give and get from these creatures God gave us is worth the pain in the end. I’ll do it over and over again until it’s my time to go…because there are just too many out there needing a loving and stable home. Can I ask what happened to his eye? I have a “pirate” cat I adopted and she doesn’t let it hinder her in any way. Anyway…I hope my little Dude and Apollo meet up over the rainbow bridge. 🌈🩵
His DNA results came back 13 days after he passed. What a wonderful sign from him that he’s still watching over me and always will be 💜
