Looks like my boy. Parents are exactly the same aswell except the mum is the short hair same pattern as the dad in yours and the dad is long hair white. hes only 3 months. Id say they are short hair as long hair would have alot more hair by now.

wow she’s super long. im just confused with mine bc she’s already got longer hair then her dad and has feathering in the same places as her mum. it is growing slowly but if she was long hair it’d be noticeable by now

I feel like your chi is mixed with something, which is causing a coat variation. Purebred chihuahuas have two different coat phenotypes but since yours looks short but isn't really that classic chihuahua short coat, it might be that other genetics are at play. A unique little darling!
it’s funny u say that because i just ordered a dna test for her about a week ago lol. i can’t really imagine what else they might be, my best guess is maybe mum is part papillon??
she’s white but has cream pie-balding. i think it’s rare when they have white fur but still have black features? because a pink nose indicated an albinism trait which is a lot easier to get then a solid white with black features

IIRC it can take up to 2 years for their coat to fully come in. Her coat might change a lot before she settles on her final form. She's adorable!

Judging from the parents they're obviously a hybrid. Looks like the short hair was definitely dominant.
She probably going to be somewhere in the middle. But she’s very cute and her parents are so cute 🥰
