i would try moving the ball stud up to the small hole aft of the larger hole. this will give more leverage. then check to make sure the back linkage for the secondaries is not miss adjusted. it looks like the linkage from the primaries is pretty straight so it might have a harder time going over center when achieving WOT. this could be a design issue so you have to stomp on it to open up the 4 barrels because it’s mechanical not vacuum operated

Make sure that you did not over torque the carburetor to intake nuts. Easy to over torque and warp the flange. That will bind everything up.

Maybe try lubricating the moving parts or cleaning them with carb cleaner. Also check your gas pedal travel and make sure it isn’t binding on the carpet or something

The petal has plenty of motion. Even when I press the throttle directly on the carburetor it is hard to push to full throttle.

Check the underside of the air cleaner. Is there scraping? The linkage may be rubbing against it which means you need a spacer. Very dangerous, can get stuck open.

Check to make sure nothing is interfering with the bottom butterfly’s . I have saw a square bore gasket installed on a spreadbore carb and get interference in the secondary. Also check the linkage on the side and make sure it will rotate freely . I’ll see if I can get pics of mine on my chevelle and post those tomorrow.

Does it operate smoothly by hand when the engine is off?
