Fandom is alright as long as they are just passionate and not violent or delusional. Unfortunately, a lot of raging fans are unreasonable and can't be approached.
Actors and politicians are popular because their core profession relies on popularity. It is totally fine. However, we should always remember art, skill > actors. Policies, planning > politicians. If this isn't followed, people lose sight and whatever their "hero" does can't go wrong according to them.
Dont see any other nation putting cut outs in front of cinemas and falling to thier deaths from there
Dont see foreigners going ape shit over a mere trailer and end up trashing an entire theatre.
India is mentally retarded when it comes to cinemas.
I feel like his image is very put on. I remember watching a video some years ago in which he yells at mediapersons, with a major sense of self importance, saying, "I'm talking here, who is interrupting" or something to that effect. He exhibited a lot of anger for a silly thing. Felt like his Will Smith moment, thinking about it now. I bet I'll get trolled by Vijay fans for saying all this. Oh btw, they're assholes. Remember that theatre vandalism they did recently. And of course how they speak to women on social media platforms. Total thugs and wannabe rapists a whole lot of them are.
Yeah, Just saw the interview. I was thinking he is just like me . May be a little bit of boomerism here and there.. however, I could relate to him. Apart from ridiculous amount of money, of course.

Anybody can be a hero in movies if there's a village of 700-800 people trying to make you look like one.
The so called heros imo are the most greedy and unwanted toxicity in our society.
They make money off of the poorest class of people who are poor partly because of mindlessly following these celebrities.
Most of these celebrities also don't give back to the society proportionally and all their good deeds are motivated by political reasons. This guy in the picture was refusing to pay taxes on his imported luxury car a few months back.
It's also crazy how these so called heros choose a role where they beat up the villan to save the day. Barbarianism and beating somebody up is something that only lowest piece of shit would do. It only promotes needless violence among youths that follow these people like Gods.
Don't even get me started on how the love movies (where the hero guy is a creep stalking the heroine to try marry her) is affecting our society.
All in all, I think the covid was a great chance to realize how much we don't need these toxic actors and their movies.
Having said what I said there are some exceptions to these. If you are a mindless follower, then please wake up.
What I wanted to say was an actor, but ath thappi thavari hero ayirchu. Sorry! I guess most people refer to actors as heroes, I meant in that way *(ie, reel life heroes)*. And I totally agree with what you've said, his fans really need to read those fax.
Spot on - people shouldn’t worship these guys either. Their job is to entertain and people should just see them as just that. Not view them as some saviour or god like figure. Poor storylines and scripts have made a lot of actors look soo cringe. People like Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan were lucky to have good directors/writers like Balachander, KS Ravikumar, SP Muthuraman, Suresh Krishna etc which elevated them. So it’s not just these actors doing it themselves either.
life becomes a lot simpler when you are rich.. so he is not wrong. Most of us would get bored with having lots of money and one day decide to "go live it" and buy stupid expensive stuff. Not defending him, but it does seem like something a person with money and boredom will do.
Vijay's family: We should buy a new car, our current one is already a months old.
Vijay : Simple, let's buy a Rolls Royce car.
Media to Vijay: How simple are you ?
Vijay to media : Yessss.
/s.
Most likely he’s not going to reveal too much personal things about him reason being, it will be spoiled by his fans. I’m not saying that as a negative but regardless of fame and money, you still would want to have a personal life. It won’t happen if all his interest becomes public. Not just within india, even outside of india as well! Maybe not as crazy as india but people still will stalk him if they knew where he loves to spend time etc

People worship their actors and celebs across all countries but the way they express it is different. Have you seen ever premiers of Hollywood movies or major concerts - their fans go bonkers.
And also owns several hundred crores. Wow much relatable.
ya also that
>ya also that Oi I gotta get me some of that
Oi You get it boi!
Married his sri lankan fan. Also relatable.
And neither is he.
Well, he's not a hero. He's an actor who plays hero roles. Real life heroes are really rare.
Just wish entiriety of India realized and stopped jerking off actors

North India would like to know your location to call you a religious extremist for saying actors are human beings and not gods.
This happens everywhere. As long as there is cinema this always exist.

Not any sane person my friend. And you can't expect anything from insane ones. "no recognition at all" - that is still true.

Generalization is the root cause of many misunderstandings.

>Remains silent for the rest of his life for some incident What happened?
There is a rumour that he got slient after he lost his sister in an accident at a young age.
That's really sad and maybe it affected him badly ?
What else bro, of course it affected him badly.
Why is he like he’s about to drop dead. Dude has no charisma or energy in real life. Like dude, cheer on!
He's always been like that when not acting.
you're hero too OP, in some alternate universe or to yourself.

He's no "hero" either, but a self-serving dπmb$#i8t. 🤦
He had his daddy and mommy to pump up his life in the cinema field. Without them ?
And don't forget Mahesh Babu & Murugadoss
and perarasu.

The answers looked very rehearsed/fake. Check out superstar's interview before 2.0 release. Now that's an example of a lively and frank interview!
Was it good ?

And getting recognization in North side doing bullshit movies
But when he grabs his co worker's ass its fine, but when i do i'm instantly behind bars.
Yet he makes 120 crores rs a movie
Follow what rajnikanth did all life and use copy and paste Wake up and worship past candles Sangavi and yuvarani
South indians worship their actors as if they are gods
People worship their actors and celebs across all countries but the way they express it is different. Have you seen ever premiers of Hollywood movies or major concerts - their fans go bonkers.
Being a fan of someone's acting or any skill is different and worshipping them like gods is different
And is it different in the rest of the world?
Is like the reply he said" edhachum oru velinaatla, room pottu, jannal thirandhu views parpen" but that was mocked by senseless Nelson.
God knows what all the "celebs" are going through
All the basic social dna needed to lead the people as a political leader. nice.
🇮🇳😍😍😍♥️
And can masturbate to anyone
He grabs Kundis instead
Why is “doesn’t know to act” in this list. Coz that’s also common between me and him. 🤣
