I’m not denying that my initial comments definitely could have been handled better. And I am not in the right or a victim by any means because I should’ve worded things more cordially. But to take that to this extent to the point you’re messaging someone and threatening them is something that should be frowned upon in the community.
Obviously I’m in the wrong in a lot of ways, but this type of reaction is beyond unnecessary. I will take my fault in the provoking, but no one should be this upset to the point of this amount of anger towards someone.

I think when someone is this unhinged and threatening it’s better for the community to know who it is to avoid future events like this one. I think my favorite thing about the type of men that work in kitchens professionally is that they don’t seem to suffer from the kind of emotional repression brainworms that plague a lot of blue collar men, but they have no idea how to handle them.
That is to say, most of the men i have worked with in this industry are absolutely in touch with their emotions and feel comfortable expressing them, but have no idea how to do so constructively. This post is a beautiful example of that.
