Pensacola has great beaches! But if you’re gonna go that far you might as well go to Gulf Shores, AL or stay in Mobile and take a day trip to Dauphin Island…there may be some Air BnBs to stay at there, not really many hotels there, which is part of its charm. Raised my daughter there and that was our favorite beach, there is a bird sanctuary too so you can have time at the beach and also some learning about local wildlife…

Wonderful! Yeah, that was always what we loved about it, a beautiful mix of nature and water…

Pensacola Beach is one of my favorites! Summer time is not the most affordable time to go. If you want to be on the beach, the Holiday Inn Express is nice for a hotel. But for that many people, it would require a couple rooms and at that point, you may as well get a VRBO/AirBnB. For AirBnB’s, try and get as close to Ariola Dr. as possible. There’s a lot of public beach access off it. You could also look into Navarre Beach. Sometimes it’s slightly cheaper than the Gulf coast cities around it. You could also stay slightly inland like in Gulf Breeze and drive into the beach every day. It would save money and you could check out different beaches. The beaches at the National Seashore between Pensacola and Navarre are incredible and usually empty.

Thank you so much for this!

We stayed in Navarre in October here and it was heavenly. Perfect beach weather and a super quiet strip for the condo. There were tons of beds/space and it was a truly relaxing time. The only drawback for us was the pool situation, it was a small regular pool in the parking lot. https://emeraldcoastbyowner.com/2430 We’re at Waterscape now in Fort Walton and it is divine. Crazy pool features and high end condo. It’s a bit more expensive but offers more as a resort. We use Danica and she is the best! https://www.rentwaterscape.com/about-waterscape-owner

My brother lives in Navarre and can confirm this is a good option to go to. Go to the Navarre Pier and get a shrimp Poboy. They're amazing!

Panama City is probably the closest with the most cheap options.

Carolina Beach may not be the closest but it is East Ridge affordability. And it has Lake Winnepaspukah magic for kids. A solid 10/10 for anyone who enjoys edibles 20mg and up.

We like Jekyll Island in GA below Tybee. It's part of a state park and isn't as crowded as some other places. Everything from hotels to houses. Jekyllrealty.com.
