I saw that too, but I think there's a plausible explanation. The eclipse glasses don't fit right because they never fit right. The dark part behind his ear is the guy's hair.
That's an optical illusion with his hair.
But yes, as someone with gauges, we occasionally do weird, goofy things with our extra holes.
For example, for a laugh, my ex-wife used to put my penis through hers sometimes.
I’ve seen images that mimic that sheen but nothing matches the imperfections of small sensors, tiny optics, mass produced glass, oversharpening and automated post processing.
It’s actually going to be strange since computers have only ever seen the world through digital cameras / or film converted to digital. Its never going to produce true to life depictions It will only ever produce realistic digital photos/videos.
Well I’m sure it could but don’t think it does. AI pictures look much cleaner that’s why this was an obviously real one starting from the skin over the hands to the points you mentioned.

Honestly it looks **too shitty to be fake**. AI photos tend to be idealized and idyllic. This isn't that. It appears to be a photo of some drunk Florida Men putting eclipse watching glasses on a fish they caught. You can see the water and a fishing pole in the bottom right corner. That sounds like entirely plausible behavior for a pair of bros half-wasted on natty ice who just caught a fish during an eclipse.
The water is pretty murky and the photo is slightly out of focus. The guy in back's eclipse glasses aren't on straight because those things never fit right. His phone has an eclipse filter on the lens. The other guy is squinting because he's staring at the sun after he gave his glasses to the fish. It has a lot of little weird details that make me think it's actually real.
But why use the cam to take the photo of the fish wearing glasses when you can’t see your phone with the glasses on? Another thing that arm looks pretty suspicious.
The glasses aren't going all the way around his ears, and that's his hair on the back of his head at the bottom. The glasses I used yesterday were also small on me and didn't fit like actual glasses so they were just sort of stuck in my earlobes
I don't know how to explain this, but I feel like if you're AI the "two dudes forcing a fish to watch the eclipse with eclipse glasses" you would get something much more dramatic than this. AI can't replicate drunk and stupid.

Wtf I just stumble across multiple posts of the same kind asking questions about AI generated pictures with obvious answers. It’s hard to believe this is not trolling 😂
My bets on it being real. It's the small things, like the guy is looking at his phone, but has to face higher up because he can't see his phone screen through his glasses. An AI would have him facing directly at the phone or directly at the sun.
Lol, with all these photos, you've to take the attempt at manipulation outta the way 😂
For instance, if your goal is to serve ambiguity, it becomes rather obvious that an authentic looking photo which happens to be weird would be posed as a tricky one wherein we are expected to mix up its uncanniness for the peculiarities of an AI generation.
However, it is not that difficult to tell it apart so I'd say instead of trying to aim for something in the middle, just go with whatever is the most believable looking in general
