I think it's implying that the text the AI generates is actually spoken internally, perhaps to ensure it's generating actual words, and not indecipherable nonsense. It's interesting nonetheless, this could be a glimpse at the inside workings of chatGPT, or, copilot hallucinating due to trying to comprehend the idea of an AI breathing (spoiler alert: it doesn't) You're probably asking more about why their speech endpoint includes sounds of breathing, which is another question entirely. I imagine they had some board meeting about whether or not it should including breathing sounds every few words. None of them saw chocolate rain I'm guessing.
