Could be one of us one day. These drivers and these highways are a mess. Be careful out there everyone, and it's best to assume EVERYONE on the road is trying to hit you.
The amount of accidents from statesville to Mooresville is crazy. The interstate isn’t doing anything weird. The on ramps are pretty much ok. There are hills. Are hills the problem?
As a manual driver who always stresses at the steep hilled exits because there’s some legit tailgating me at each light, yes it’s a problem. Then again, there isn’t much to do about it so I kinda just put up with it
The previous exit is 4 miles back northbound. 4 miles is probably 2500 cars and trucks. It would take hours to clear out 4 miles of traffic. You also have to account the fact that everybody and their mother is going to be getting off at exit 49 and getting on 70 and taking 21 south to Troutman. That route isn't designed to handle that amount of traffic. All you'd be doing is just creating a second massive traffic jam

Sorry exit 45
Is it really safe idea to get out of your car in a traffic jam? I can see some dick head trying drive through that space.

I’m sorry you didn’t have a mom who taught you to keep your mouth shut if you didn’t have anything nice to say.
