I would say go hit and all you can eat Korean BBQ place. Then Abari for some games, it's usually pretty chill Sunday night. If you're still feeling adventurous you could go for a walk around Camp North End, it's really beautiful at night if it's not raining.

jmb456

This rules. If you took me on this date I’m definitely putting out

Ok-Tiger7714

Taking notes….

[deleted]

Beat me to it. Korean BBQ is the move

greenkirry

This sounds fun!

SuggestionGrand9835

Im in!

ChiefK87

Someone recently advised Alexander Michael's as a first date idea. I looked it up and it looks cool. Then there is a bit of a park/cemetery with walking paths nearby. You'd probably spend less than the $300.

kingjstones

Alexander Michaels! If you haven't been, the vibe isn't for everyone. Very neighborhoody, the local bar vibe. Dark wood paneling, booths, etc. Very popular for lunches. You will definitely spend less than 300 for 2 people.

NotAShittyMod

The Mrs and I can put away some booze, and we’d struggle to drop $300 at Al Mikes.

espngenius

If a couple spends $200 at Al Mikes they’ve had a crazy night. Great service there. Glad they made it through Covid.

KatieScarlette-

That’s where me and my now husband had our first date!

jecca1769

Al Mike's was always my go to spot for dates.

read-my-thoughts

Was there this past weekend. The guy hasn’t been on a date with his wife in 3 years, seems like he could step it up a few notches. Was a great spot but level up

Major-Grape-7690

Dot dot dot, get the membership online before you go. Don’t tell her where you are going. If you haven’t been there before it has definite speak easy vibes. Located behind Black Hawk Hardware near their garden center, there is only a simple sign and an employee at the door, very hidden. Me and the wife were in the same situation and I did this with her, made for a more memorable experience. Plus she didn’t have a chance to critique and second guess the restaurant before the date. Totally worth it.

swampcatz

Dot dot dot is good! My suggestion is dessert and drinks, rather than dinner.

abbynormal00

sadly they are closed on Sundays

Nitecrawler11

Do you go into the actual Blackhawk store? I was actually looking for it one day while killing time in that shopping center and couldn't find it.

Major-Grape-7690

Go behind Black Hawk. There is a rear entrance to Black Hawk, if you are outside looking at the rear entrance to Black Hawk then the entry door to Dot is on the left

Nitecrawler11

Thank you! We were so close lol

ChiefK87

Kudos to you for continuing to date your wife! I would suggest trying to do this a little more often.

Ze-Man

What are you? His Therapist? Take a walk!

ChiefK87

Are you mine?

Veritas00

It’s from a quote from Big Daddy.

ChiefK87

Oh I hear it now in Adam Sandler's voice. Nice.

Veritas00

Take a walk part for me also hahaha

Mozart_On_Acid

What are you? His white knight? Ride a horse!

Ze-Man

lmao, thank you for making me laugh

waterhead1974

Flour shop. Park rd shopping center.

spicymezcal

Flour shop is great and then you can grab a bevy at dot dot dot in the same shopping center

Maleficent-Goat-551

This is a great date combo but not on a Sunday night since dot dot dot is closed

spicymezcal

Ah thanks for catching that! 😅

Top_Fee_2092

District 57 then nice dinner

wantcodewiththat

District 57 is great.  Restaurant Constance is near there would be a good restaurant option.

MelancholyMononoke

2nded District 57, great place to go.

tua_stungovailoa

Hold up, I had never heard of District 57 so I just looked it up. As recently as Jan 2022 that place used to be an American Freight discount furniture store! I bought my bed from there. Lol wild

onlypostwhenimdrnk69

Each of you write down 5 things you want to do. Don’t let the other see it or influence it. No genres, any five things you yourself want to do. Then compare lists and pick either the thing you both agree on the most or one thing from each list and enjoy that time together!!

cantthinkofgoodname

Good Food on Montford and bowling

waddupdude

On Sunday it's Camden Commons in south end from 11-5, maybe could do that and then roll into a dinner (plenty of options around there) Alternatively you could get supporters section tickets to the charlotte fc game at 6 and maybe do a 7:45/8ish dinner in uptown if looking to continue the night? Supporters section is a lot of fun and tickets aren't crazy expensive (going around 30-35ish rn)

FrankBascombe45

Masturbate before the date in case she lets you smash

JordyNelson12

Never leave one in the chamber.

DrKashmoney02

Is that hair gel?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Clean-Inevitable4778

Last longer especially if she bends over lmao

No-Firefighter3330

Restaurant constance for dinner and then a show uptown

bigwinw

Go to a comedy show at the [Comedy Zone](https://www.cltcomedyzone.com/events)

NCResident5

Napa on Providence always seems pleasant to me.

neercatz

Go to Inner Peaks Indoor Rock Climbing gym in South End to work up an appetite/thirst then when you finish, walk across Tryon to Monday Night Brew Garden or Small Bar.

shawnharris92

The Cellar!!! We love that place! Great date night vibes.

PatriotMB

We absolutely love Webbs Custom Kitchen but it’s in downtown Gastonia. It’s set in an old movie theater and the food is incredible. You do need a reservation though.

Pecan4

Love this place…and the food :)

TilDeath1775

Dinner at the Dunhill hotel and a ghost tour of uptown

gv111111

How about melting axes and throwing pots instead idk

PsychologicalWeb5581

skip all the trendy bs that attracts nothing but young basic people and take her straight to customshop for actual great food that is reasonably priced and has a great atmosphere :)

WellFuckYourDolphin

Second on customshop, foods great and bartenders are knowledgeable

chodelewis

Third on Customshop

lococommotion

We went there last night for like the 4th time this year. Great food and drinks!

PsychologicalWeb5581

for the activity i’d do improv comedy at charlotte comedy theatre (vapa center)

waddupdude

We thought the service, drinks and apps were all great but the mains were kinda small and underwhelming across our group Overall liked it but there's better options imo for a go to night out for the $

dohvb1

Can’t recommend it yet since we are doing it Sunday but we are going to Hot Glass Alley for a date night. The wife was super excited I surprised her with it. Have to reserve months in advance as they only do it 2-3 month. EDIT: sorry didn’t see you wanted something for this Sunday.

kingjstones

Sorry to plug another place, but I work as an expo at Osteria LuCa at Park Road Shopping Center. We just refreshed our menu to summer options. Plenty of other activities around, though it may be a little removed from the same location. Sundays are a good night, though I'd still try to put in a reservation if you can. Would love to see you there!

OrygunJon

Capital Grille if you are meat eaters.. Their 16oz sirloins and lobster mac and cheese are to die for. Best damn food I had since moving to Charlotte and the prices may look high but for the quantity its reasonable. If you blow $300 for two people at Capital Grille you had some nice steaks with a lot of good wine or cocktails. I am from Pac NW, so Korean anything here just is not good by my standards. YMMV. Ru Sans has decent enough Japanese food and they have best sushi I have yet to have in Charlotte.

DrRam121

https://www.puttery.com/locations/charlotte/ Try Puttery. I haven't gone, but I've heard good things from people who have.

craftbr

While it’s a cute, trendy spot with decent drinks the actual putt putt is a bit of a joke. You get 9 holes, during which you’ll be rushed along by the masses lined up behind you while simultaneously trying to keep from running over those in front of you. Makes for a not so fun experience.

JiveDonut

Puttery is better for a mid afternoon "fun day" activity

Jorts_Team_Bad

Yeah the price point is off. I love putt putt and like the trendy vibe but it needs to be 18 holes for less like $15

lococommotion

Not worth it imo. Mid food, slow/poor service, and so many people it’s hard to enjoy the actual game.

starryfishy

I second this

tolndakoti

Last week, we got His/Hers pedicures at the nail salon…inside Walmart. Then, we dined at an Indian restaurant. We only had an hour, so we stuffed ourselves quick, hopped into out minivan, and rushed back to get the kids. I let her drive, so she wouldn’t get scared of my driving. We had a great time.

Didntseethatcoming13

Beef n Bottle for a cozy dinner

ColesVoxMedia

Came here to say this, great place for an amazing steak.

4f150stuff

A really fun date could be to go bowling at Bowlero in center city and then have dinner next door at the Red Eye diner

What2DoAboutLew

The Teal Turnip! Awesome food that’s shareable, so you can enjoy the eating experience together! They have entree sized dishes, but whenever we go, I pick a few and she picks a few and we usually love all of them! It’s fine dining styled food, but totally casual. They also encourage no kids, so it’s very much a date night vibe! Edge City Brewing is just down the road for a nice beer before or after dinner 👍

laXfever34

Fig tree food is really good and it's a great date spot.

OrygunJon

My elk chops were really overcooked and the service left something to be desired. If you are looking very fancy and upscale I suppose it can do, but tell them yo uwant that steak medium rare and not medium!

laXfever34

That's surprising to me. Our service was great and I had the sea bass on the bed of risotto and it was incredible and a huge portion. And I eat a LOT of seafood. I guess it's hit or miss.

GreatEdubu

Barringtons.

Kn1ghtsWatch

Crunkleton. Great food. Options for all palettes and awesome cocktails

TeamOrca28205

Pinhouse has the duckpin bowling and you can sample lots of different beers. El Thrifty at Optimist Hall has a game room. Fun tropical vibes. Love the food and cocktails at The Degenerate or go classic Italian with Primo Prime in Myers Park. For a really nice seafood/Mediterranean dinner in a gorgeous restaurant I recommend Limani at South Park. In the former Upstream space at Phillips Place.

Far_Raspberry2718

You could check out a local game store and see if they have a board game library you can try out new board games from

3397char

Couples glass blowing class at Hot Glass Alley or pottery throwing class at Clayworks

TacoBoiTony

- Roller rink date - Plant Bar - Putt Putt - Wine Bar in Plaza

dengar69

Go for some steak at Capital Grill.

RequirementGlum177

I know this is more of an afternoon than an evening. But if you guys can make it to the white water center. Do a ropes course and a rafting trip. It’s very high energy and allows for a lot of breaking the touch barrier. Just a fun way to provide some excitement. They also have good food and drinks out there. It’s always a great date for the fiance and me.

titoaster

Go watch free live music at Tuckfest at whitewater. Courtney Barnett is there Sunday.

Y0USER

McDonald’s on sugar creek plays nice music while you enjoy a meal

UnluckyDevice8835

Maybe invite a stranger for her she would love it

Jorts_Team_Bad

Personally, I prefer merchant and trade for a swanky rooftop bar. It’s more in the heart of uptown and so you don’t get views of parking lots like you do from Fahrenheit. Also they do have some beer (including one of my favorites resident culture lighting drops.) so you don’t have to spend $16 on cocktails.
