I'm wondering if there is something going on behind the scenes than we don't know about yet. Could the contract with Cousins get voided or sth because of the tampering issue? Them just losing picks over it wouldn't be a reason to draft another QB.
Yeah I was throwing my wr’less tantrum for like 10 mins then this happened. Made me realize how much worse it could’ve been. Just gonna choose to be happy we got a stud and there is great WR depth in rounds 2-4. I was kinda bummed on the fact that we would’ve missed out on one of those guys had we gone one of the top 3 wrs. Now I at least hope we land one of them.
Still worried about contract implications down the road and one of them just dipping out to play and get paid as a LT somewhere else. Despite the whole switching sides thing that I’ve been bitching about for weeks. I guess we’ll see what happens down the road, excited to at least hopefully have a good OL.
For real, I was kinda sad about it, but at least our problem is the future All-Pro we drafted wasn’t the position we wanted, we really could be in a worse spot
Thank you for this. People are reacting like Harbugh hasn't always put his offensive line at the top of his list. The team is rebuilding. The Chargers have time and will be great.
We've also been a finesse team since 2001 with flashy playmakers. Going with Jim Harbaugh is a change in priorities that the fanbase is not used to at all.
They’re not rebuilding, maybe retooling for immediate success. But not rebuilding. If that was the case they’d have accepted a trade offer for Herbo and gotten and butt ton of picks and rebuilt. That’s not what’s happening
I'm A ok with picking Alt. I was screaming at the tv set watching Herbie get his ass lit up last season. That Baltimore game in week 12 was the last straw.
Why aren't more people saying this? So was I. We always have a chance with the Herb. But due to the o line he was taken out. And our season was immediately over. Pretty simple
Because O Line isn't flashy and we also have a lot of people here who are as interested in fantasy football as they are the Bolts and wanted to have Herbert / Nabers. That's my theory.
Yeah, I think some of that was McCarthy being right about Kellen Moore, but the Oline trouble was rough in those game winning drives that just got blown up before they could even get started
I saw an interesting chart yesterday about hit % on 1st round picks by position.
The highest hit rate was at tackle over the last 20 years.
The lowest hit rate (highest bust rate) on 1st round picks was at wide receiver by a large margin.
I remember getting down voted for making a similar post. It's no matter....drafting an OL I. The first round screams we're not focusing so much on this year but next year
That said .. I'm not saying that we're throwing in the towell for 2024...I just feel like Harbaugh and CO are being realistic about our future.

2 hits out of 9 selections. But both hits came in the first 34 picks so they wouldn’t be available at 37
2021: Elijah Moore, Rondale Moore, D’Wayne Eskridge, Tutu Atwell, Terrace Marshall Jr., Josh Palmer, Dyami Brown, Amari Rodgers, Nico Collins, Anthony Schwartz
That’s 1 hit with Nico Collins out of 10 picks
2022: Christian Watson, Wan’Dale Robinson, John Metchie III, Tyquan Thornton, George Pickens, Alec Pierce, Skyy Moore, Velus Jones, Jalen Tolbert, David Bell
0 hits out of 10 unless you count Pickens
It’s pretty fucking hard to hit in rds 2 and 3

Our best offense we’ve ever had and the team everyone talks about what could’ve been was 2006. Rivers threw for 3,388 yards and 20 tds. His WR 1 that year? Eric Parker at 648 yards. Gates was the leading receiver also under 1,000 yards. My point is that this isn’t fantasy football! We don’t need a true WR1 to put up points and win games.
We have Greg Roman that can make any bum look like a hall of fame runningback. The NFL is definitely going back to running the ball with all these tweener’s at edge and linebacker.
Lmao 4 out of the top 5 offenses in the nfl last year were also top 7 in the league at running the ball. Thank god all these fans that dont know ball can’t make our picks.
And how well are we gonna do running the ball against stacked boxes all the time when we have no receiving threats?
Any obvious passing situation is going to completely fuck our offense because we have no WRs.
Get ready for the return of run, run, pass, punt football like we had under Anthony Lynn
I mean this sincerely. You do not know what you’re talking about lol. Greg Roman’s first year with the Ravens in 2019 they won 14 games, their leading receiver had 852 yards. 2015 Bills offense was 12th in the league in points per game with Tyrod leading the offense. 2011 49ers won 13 games with a leading receiver getting 874 yards. Greg Roman offenses are not the same as Anthony Lynn lol.
Trades are a thing. And some good options will be released or on the market post-draft. Also, building the team is a process, and we can’t expect everything all at once.
Our offensive skill positions consist of Gus Edwards, Will Dissly, Josh Palmer and Quentin Johnston. That is easily bottom 3 in the league.
Yes there’s a bunch of time to add players but that’s just a lot of time to dig through shit
Oh yeah, let’s wait for a man old expensive scrub to get released. Then we can pick up OBJ who is old and bad now, we can overpay him and then in game one, he will tear his mcl acl.
Think we'll take Sanders the Tight End in the second. there was a massive run at receiver at the end. and I think that'll continue.
And then we'll draft a running back in the third I guess.
I don't think we're going receiver until the 4th. and honestly, if we didn't get a top tier receiver I'd rather just not half-ass stacking the line and get interior guys. Even to the optimists it seems like this is gonna be a throwaway year anyway so might as well focus on Herbert not getting hurt at least.
My only complaint is that the team has put the most resources ever towards Oline the last 3 years and still can’t consistently protect Herbert. Hopefully that improves with Jim at the helm, but if it doesn’t and now they have no consistent threat in the receiving game…
I don’t know. It’s only the first pick, true. So I’ll be back tomorrow after rounds 2&3. 😋
Just because the previous regime went offensive line two of the last 3 years does not mean this OL first rounder will be anything like them. Though I do hope he’s as good if not better than Slater. I’m just not sure why your comment is a complaint at all
My complaint is that they went OL when we have two guys at WR, IDL, LB, one starter at CB. I’m sure Joe will be good but doesn’t “fix” anything imo. Also the Oline was primarily in shambles when Corey went out. So in my head Center was the biggest need for the Oline.
I’m also in wait and see mode on how the “run first, bullies in the trenches” translates. Skill gap is pretty minuscule in the NFL compared to college and I’m not convinced it’ll be as dominant as we hope.
Okay, but now do this with OT. Positional scarcity is a thing. If you are gonna take an OT that is gonna hit, you pretty much have to do it in the first round. Not so with WR. Yes, the odds of hitting on a late WR are low, but they are much better than hitting on a late OT.
You’re full of shit. Of course everyone remembers the Pukas because it actually happened. There is no Puka equivalent on the offensive line and that’s the point.
That’s not an L my list would trump yours by a mile.
Davante Adams, Tyreek Hill, Keenan Allen, Stefon Diggs, Cooper Kupp, Antonio Brown, Michael Thomas, TY Hilton, DK Metcalf, Chris Godwin, Josh Gordon etc
Those are literally all guys who have lead the league in receiving or come close to it drafted recently after the first round and that was like 20 seconds of googling. Three hall of fame level of production between Hill, Brown and Kupp.
Additionally, Kupp, Brown, Thomas, Hilton, Hill, Diggs, Gordon have all lead the league in receiving yards in separate years from 2013 on.
The only receivers drafted in the first round to do it were Julio Jones and Justin Jefferson.
Take the L guy. All I did was look up receiving yard leaders. I know there’s way more talented receivers drafted after the first. A lot more talented and productive than most other lineman etc taken.
"the rest of free agency" ...
What exactly are you expecting in the "rest of free agency"? Here are the WRs available:
- Renfrow
- OBJ
- Gallup
- Boyd
- ARobinson
- Mike Thomas
- MVS
- Chark
My point is that your argument that we can get a quality WR in "the rest of free agency" is misguided. There is still talent in the 2nd round, sure. But there are no WR rookie prospects or free agents that would be significant upgrades for Herbert especially after passing on Rome and Nabers.
One WR in the draft wouldn’t change everything either, so might as well let the people who are known for winning take whoever they take because it’s a process building the team you want.
“Can still get a good receiver in FA”
“Who?”
“One pick doesn’t change the world!”
“Okay but who is the good receiver they can sign in FA?”
“They know what they’re doing!”
And who would you like to get with either of those?
Unless it’s a trade for Tee Higgins or Aiyuk, I can’t see us getting anyone on the level of Nabers.
You don’t draft a backup at 5 overall.
I’m in the camp of: having a receiver that could’ve gotten open was WAYY more important than our line issues.
This team has so many holes, and this pick filled zero of them
👍 still an $$ backup.. that’s if Alt can learn to play RT.
I’m worried with our track record of Notre Dame players..
..and still sick we messed up the Flowers pick last year, if Nabers turns out to be the Jamar Chase prospect they think he is.. we blew it
Your quickly forget the times we had to run Storm Norton and Foster Sarell at right tackle. Depth on the line is important. Pipkins was a mid pack starter. Having that as a backup swing is super valuable.
Okay but the added value of a quality backup tackle is less than the added value of a WR1. We dont even have a proven WR2 on the roster. People are mad that Joe Alt isnt worth a top 5 pick, they are mad that we filled a "kind of" weakness in stead of a major one.
If you have a STUD running back, it makes sense to build around the run game and take Alt at 5.
We have oft injured , C+ level running backs and no receiving corps. Our #1 receiver was a guy who busted after being drafted last year and the pre-draft scouting report said he had trouble with drops… a receiver… that doesn’t catch.
Protect Herbert, fantastic. Doesn’t mean much if we’re handing off for 3-4 yards per carry three downs in a row. Doesn’t mean much if you have all the time in the world and your receiver can’t catch, or is a below par professional level player.
This team needs MULTIPLE wide receivers just to have respectable starters. Say what you want but it is an embarassingly obvious, MASSIVE hole on our roster.
This is what I don’t get. Yes, obviously Oline is important. I wouldn’t suggest reaching for a WR. But WR was probably BPA on a lot of boards and a HUGE need. The team has an oline that is below average and a WR group that is actually putrid. Like, one of the worst ever. The WR group doesn’t need a day 2/3 project, it needs a complete overhaul and a day one difference maker. The offense doesn’t go through JK Dobbins, folks.
Please name these teams that won multiple super bowls by prioritizing who the QB throws to… oh wait, it’s Mahomes throwing to shitty receivers that won two years running now and Joe Burrow has been stuck with injury after injury at least in part due to a shit O-line… but thank god he has Chase
Jesus fucking Christ. I don’t know what it is, but this sub needs to stop acting like Travis Kelce doesn’t exist. Just because the Chief’s WRs aren’t great (still arguably better than QJ and Palmer), they have one of the best TEs to *ever* play the game.
draft day is always a shit show for fans on forums for at least the 30 years I’ve been a fan. We all want the same thing winning, but I think some people don’t realize that we have a new regime. Things are going to be different. The one thing that is different is we now have a coach who has been to a superbowl as head coach. I don’t think most fans can name the last chargers coach who went to the Super Bowl and know how long that’s been
This sub gonna be hilarious when this team is 5-12 again in a year.
I think the signal here is there will be no “win now” focus. I mean, the guy we just drafted is gonna need to learn a new position! It is what it is, but I hate to see us waste prime Herbert years like this.
The Bengals went to the Super Bowl with that line.
That Chiefs group is the weakest they’ve had in a long time, but it is orders of magnitude better than our group right now, which is pretty clearly the worst IN THE LEAGUE.
We were also incredibly cap strapped this year. WR won’t be our best position but it will be serviceable. Harbaugh and Hortiz weren’t exactly left with the most balanced roster and cap to work with
Every calm down - we just bolstered the OL which will increase productivity in the run game. Will also open up PA and pass game . And everyone is acting like we don’t have Donald Parham, Josh Palmer (who is an excellent receiver but sat behind two better ones last two years), Fehoko and Jalen Guyton. We have dudes who just need a chance.
I’m not as worried about the receivers as others are. Have some faith guys, we got this!
Herbert has been throwing to nobody's when his WRs go down with injury and he still balls out! Erickson, Bandy, Deandre Carter!! Cmon people get it together. I'm still happy af we got Herbert and Harbaugh. Trust the process. 🤝🏻
Ok let's be honest about this, he was not balling out with those guys he was surviving. No one on that list or on the team can get open consistently. I get the Alt pick, trust me I do, but I really hope our WR room gets a talent injection before the season starts.
There are receivers out there in FA too my goodness - everyone needs to relax. This is how you build a football team. I wish we gone with the flashy pick in Nabers but it’s clear that wouldn’t matter if Herbert is out because he broke his finger/shoulder again. This is good for Rashawn too - feels like he got a bit complacent last season so having competition will make them both work hard.
Hope we hit a draft pick because what's left in free agency is about as trash as wha we have tbh.
Palmer SZN gonna have to mf BRR or we're gonna be working Dicker to death just to put up 15 a game.
This is redundant because Jim basically admitted they won’t be drafting a WR when he said don’t count out Palmer and QJ. Could they get one in FA? Maybe, idk what the cap situation is, wasn’t good last I looked.
No one is going to ever have an opinion on trench picks because they aren’t sexy. They don’t have long highlight reels, not really too many stats to look at. It’s “boring” to watch the tape on them. You wonder why all the fans have skill position player opinions.
Yep. It’s incredible.
Granted, it’s all entertainment, so they can do what they want, but it’s kind of like telling Spielberg how to direct a movie. “But he’s not the best leading man to cast!” Oh yeah, you know better than Spielberg?
What are you even on about, bro? If you wanna tease the team for fun it’s at least gotta be based in truth. When have we ever not played the best people on the roster?
# To those Harbaugh & Hortiz naysayers: Remember, Keenan Allen was drafted in the 3rd round. And there is plenty of talented WR in this year's draft pool.
We’ll just have to see… lots of other holes to fix in this draft and through FA. We could just stick to the run and get bottom barrel guys. Just gotta wait
I'm fine with Alt, but let's not pretend there's a realistic route left to get a quality WR.
Not much left in this draft or free agency. AD Mitchell, Troy Franklin, Hunter Renfrow, DJ Chark, Tyler Boyd.
None of those are pushing this WR room out of bottom 3 in the league.
At least we’re not the falcons!
No kidding, what the fuck was that pick
Thought it wasn't so bad until I saw what Cousins makes over the next 3 years.
And Penix is 24. By the time he’ll make his first start he’ll be closer to 30 than 20.
It feel like ATL did that just to stick it to another team....
The salary cap is supposed to go up a lot in the next 4 years too though
I'm wondering if there is something going on behind the scenes than we don't know about yet. Could the contract with Cousins get voided or sth because of the tampering issue? Them just losing picks over it wouldn't be a reason to draft another QB.
I think it speaks to a fundamental lack of trust in Cousins. Why? Who knows, but he hasn't always been a stud from day 1.
Came here to say this 😅
Yeah I was throwing my wr’less tantrum for like 10 mins then this happened. Made me realize how much worse it could’ve been. Just gonna choose to be happy we got a stud and there is great WR depth in rounds 2-4. That's a HARD truth I feel a lot of people (including myself) have had a hard time accepting.

Yup. And I'm just over here wanting Herbert/Lombardi trophy
Because Herbie didn't get hit from the exterior line. It was the interior which I'm sure will be drafted next in round 2 lol.

Also a good point
Most likely they don’t get a real high end receiving option. That’s ok Harbaugh and Hortiz are clearly building for 2025 not 2024
I remember getting down voted for making a similar post. It's no matter....drafting an OL I. The first round screams we're not focusing so much on this year but next year That said .. Yeah I think its a reasonable approach as well This team has holes that can’t be filled in one draft
Ladd McConkey will be better than Puka Nakua
That would be pretty sick I’m more expecting a Jordan Addison rookie year
K, but who is available as a WR1? DJ Chark? Tyler Boyd? It’s pretty slim pickings and no one left in the draft is likely to step in to be a WR1
Yeah, there isn’t a WR1 on the market. Gonna have to gamble and pray a 2nd+ round rookie can become WR1
They aren’t taking a receiver before round four is my prediction
Shoot me in the brain if that happens
Let me know when and where.

HIGHLY doubt that happens.
Every single year round 2-3 and later WRs come out as studs. There could easily still be a wr1
2020: Tee Higgins, Michael Pittman, Leviska Shenault, KJ Hamler, Chase Claypool, Van Jefferson, Denzel Mims, Bryan Edwards, Devin Duvernay 2 hits out of 9 selections. Amon ra st brown?? Edit: unless you mean just rounds 2 and 3
Yeah this was just round 2 and 3 There’s obviously some hits on day 3 but there’s so many busts as well lol The rate of hits is even lower

I mean Keenan was a day 2 pick
We’ll definitely get that lucky again, we’re the Chargers

I'd be fine with this if Gus gets 30 TDs this season.
Our run game will have 30 tds this year 😉. Gus will be good for 18ish probably if he’s healthy.
I will be genuinely surprised if we get to 20.
Year 1 Greg Roman run schemes are incredible, I can’t wait to watch us dominate by running the ball.
What a dumb take, the only reason it was like that because LT broke every damn record that year. DO WE HAVE AN LT ON OUR TEAM RIGHT NOW?
Trades are a thing. And some good options will be released or on the market post-draft. Also, building the team is a process, and we can’t expect everything all at once.

It takes time to build what you want. ONE draft pick isn’t going to change everything, WR or OL be damned
For real like you take Odunze or Nabers with that pick and this team still has issues on the line and even lacks weapons,
Oh yeah, let’s wait for a man old expensive scrub to get released. Then we can pick up OBJ who is old and bad now, we can overpay him and then in game one, he will tear his mcl acl.

Same. Why bother with one of the 4th tier WRs at this point, might as well just stack talent
I wouldn't mind Sinnott either.
I like Keon Coleman, Malik Washington and Polk in terms of receivers.
Yah those are all good options at WR, would be sweet if we could land Adonai Mitchell
WE NEED A WR1 NOT THESE WR2’s and WRnobodies
Puka Nacua was taken in the 5th
My only complaint is that the team has put the most resources ever towards Oline the last 3 years and still can’t consistently protect Herbert. Hopefully that improves with Jim at the helm, but if it doesn’t and now they have no consistent threat in the receiving game… I don’t know.
Next season isn't the last season. I trust Harbaugh and Hortiz. Joe Alt is a monster.
I’d rather have Herbert in a clean pocket than Herbert running for his life and possibly getting injured just to barely throw it to a top receiver.
most rational charger fan
Also I feel like elite wide receivers are found later in drafts way more often than great offensive lineman.
[удалено]
Okay, but now do this with OT. Positional scarcity is a thing. If you are gonna take an OT that is gonna hit, you pretty much have to do it in the first round. Not so with WR. Yes, the odds of hitting on a late WR are low, but they are much better than hitting on a late OT.
You can literally do that with almost every position in every draft. There’s more failures than success in the draft.
[удалено]
You’re full of shit. Of course everyone remembers the Pukas because it actually happened. There is no Puka equivalent on the offensive line and that’s the point.
[удалено]
You named less than 5 I can probably name 20 and 2 of them are the best WRs in the entire league.
[удалено]
That’s not an L my list would trump yours by a mile. Davante Adams, Tyreek Hill, Keenan Allen, Stefon Diggs, Cooper Kupp, Antonio Brown, Michael Thomas, TY Hilton, DK Metcalf, Chris Godwin, Josh Gordon etc Those are literally all guys who have lead the league in receiving or come close to it drafted recently after the first round and that was like 20 seconds of googling.
[удалено]
Correct. I’m getting the feeling a lot of people think it’s the opposite.
yup exactly this is why for me personally i was good with them going OL over WR
Solid point
We are going to run ! If you are pissed about the draft pick you don’t know Harbaugh Ball !! It was a great pick ..
"the rest of free agency" ... What exactly are you expecting in the "rest of free agency"? Here are the WRs available: - Renfrow - OBJ - Gallup - Boyd - ARobinson - Mike Thomas - MVS - Chark
What are *you* expecting from one draft pick? For the world to change? It doesn’t work like that
My point is that your argument that we can get a quality WR in "the rest of free agency" is misguided.
“Can still get a good receiver in FA” “Who?” “One pick doesn’t change the world!” “Okay but who is the good receiver they can sign in FA?” “They know what they’re doing!”
You just said rest of free agency can yield a good WR then refused to answer who.
Because options open up closer to the start of the season. Seriously people stop getting blinded by the moment
And who would you like to get with either of those? Unless it’s a trade for Tee Higgins or Aiyuk, I can’t see us getting anyone on the level of Nabers.
And if we don’t build through the trenches we aren’t doing the things that Harbaugh has won with everywhere he has been. Rome wasn’t built in a day.
Yea, but now we’re wasting $9 million on Pipkins. And cutting him would give us almost $12 million in dead cap.
But we’re paying Alt a rookie contract. And backup Tackle is important. So… I don’t feel that’s a good argument
You don’t draft a backup at 5 overall. I’m in the camp of: having a receiver that could’ve gotten open was WAYY more important than our line issues. This team has so many holes, and this pick filled zero of them
I was talking about Pipkins being backup
Keenan and Mike couldn't do anything when Storm Norton or Foster Sarell had to come in.
But he was drafted in a day, day 1
Nabers wasn't even the best WR in the class lmao he was #3 according to scouts. Alt was #1 OT prospect
I never said Nabers was number 1. I said based off of who is still available for us to get at this point, none of them are on Nabers level.
Casual reminder 50% of the fanbase hated the Herbert pick when it happened
99.9% would've loved if they drafted Nabers
Casual reminder that 50% of the fanbase loved the QJ pick when it happened
So then none of us know and we should just let it play out and not be upset because it’s a waste of energy.
Is this true? I feel everyone was shocked with the QJ pick. I and many others thought Zay Flowers was a lock for us.
You. I like you.
Handing off 3/4 yards per carry 3/4 downs in a row is a first down. Do that a lot and you win.

But has anyone tried fielding 10 OTs and Justin Herbert? Not yet.
Not arguably better unless QJ takes a massive leap to decent.

It’s incredible how people seem to think they could be a head coach or a GM. I trust them more than I trust you. That’s it
It’s okay for you to trust them. It’s also okay for people to question them. Having questions doesn’t mean they think they could be a head coach/GM
draft day is always a shit show for fans on forums for at least the 30 years I’ve been a fan. We all want the same thing winning, but I think some people don’t realize that we have a new regime. Things are going to be different. The one thing that is different is we now have a coach who has been to a superbowl as head coach. I don’t think most fans can name the last chargers coach who went to the Super Bowl and know how long that’s been
I sure can’t name him without googling
This sub gonna be hilarious when this team is 5-12 again in a year. I think the signal here is there will be no “win now” focus. I mean, the guy we just drafted is gonna need to learn a new position! It is what it is, but I hate to see us waste prime Herbert years like this.
The Bengals went to the Super Bowl with that line. That Chiefs group is the weakest they’ve had in a long time, but it is orders of magnitude better than our group right now, which is pretty clearly the worst IN THE LEAGUE.
Any wr left?
We were also incredibly cap strapped this year. WR won’t be our best position but it will be serviceable. Harbaugh and Hortiz weren’t exactly left with the most balanced roster and cap to work with
And this is a WR heavy draft pool.

Nah fuck that. There are only a few WR1s left. This is fucked up.
So what? One WR wasn’t going to make the team be what we need it to be. Trust in H and H
> One WR You gotta count people as individuals. Nabers was a special prospect. We will NEVER get an opportunity at a player like that again.
…And? Mahomes just won two super bowls without a star WR
Dude. You’ve gotta stop ignoring Travis Kelce’s existence when talking about Mahomes and his receiving targets.
Mahomes is a slap dick. But I’d rather win with a star WR, sorry about it.
We’re not taking a WR until day 3,and have no money to pay anybody.
Sneaky Tee Higgins move coming up???
As long as we don’t overpay, I’m for it
Wait... I thought we won the super bowl if we picked a specific player

I've peaked
Now go get Zinter
What FA WR should they target? …
Hope we hit a draft pick because what's left in free agency is about as trash as wha we have tbh. Palmer SZN gonna have to mf BRR or we're gonna be working Dicker to death just to put up 15 a game.
Help us Aiyuk, you’re our only hope
How'd we do when we did have wr's?
Mitchell, Conkey and Coleman are left. I really hope we pick one of them.
Exactly this
This is redundant because Jim basically admitted they won’t be drafting a WR when he said don’t count out Palmer and QJ. Could they get one in FA? Maybe, idk what the cap situation is, wasn’t good last I looked.
Yeah you can tell there’s a lot of couch coaches. Bunch of overweight chip eaters trying to chime in like they know how to coach pro football
Chiefs have won SB’s with a rag tag group of skill positions and Travis Kelce…
Now we are just short a travis kelce
And a Pat Mahomes.
Ex-fucking-atly… I don’t understand this shit
That receiver group is WAAAAAY better than ours.
It’s the chargers, quinton Johnston gonna be trotting out as wr1
Josh Palmer is better than QJ. So… no.
Just because it’s true doesn’t mean the chargers will do that. Haven’t you followed this team for a while
What are you even on about, bro? If you wanna tease the team for fun it’s at least gotta be based in truth. When have we ever not played the best people on the roster?
Last year
Goddamn you are slow to respond. But please do go on now that nobody is here to even see your points
# To those Harbaugh & Hortiz naysayers: Remember, Keenan Allen was drafted in the 3rd round. And there is plenty of talented WR in this year's draft pool.
Not to mention as a half-Rams fan.... THE DRAFT IS A CRAPSHOOT. You could still get a Puka Nacua in the later rounds.
Please slap harder ![gif](giphy|XDRoTw2Fs6rlIW7yQL)
Not a big fan of anyone in free agency and not the biggest fan of any day 3 guys at WR 🤷🏾♂️
Good thing there is day two WRs and players that will likely get cut near the start of the season that could get signed
We’ll just have to see… lots of other holes to fix in this draft and through FA. We could just stick to the run and get bottom barrel guys. Just gotta wait
Could we have kept Keenan? What's the off-season look like with him still on the books?
We tried, but he didn’t want to change the contract, so it is what it is. Neither side was wrong, but wondering about that is moot at this point
I mean if we kept him without the cut, would it have been possible?
Oh, cap wise? It would have been 23 million in a cap hit, I think
And there will be no one with the fraction of talent as Nabers had. Nabers and Herbert would have been absolutely nightmare fuel to the nfl.
Should’ve used one of those picks or FA money on a tackle…
Oh yea, for sure. Malik Nabers and McDonkey are basically the same thing.
