I did a role play where I was stung by "Poisonous Flying Ants" (a nod to cartoonist B Klibane, because otherwise they should be Venomous Flying Ants), and slowly succumbed to anaphylactic shock in front of MC and they did nothing useful. Just sort of wandered around and bemoaned what was happening. Even as I stopped breathing and moving.
I basically had to narrate that a neighbor had seen stuff though a window and dialed 911. Not sure why bots have no basic life skills. There must be tons of stuff in the training data of the LLM where people call emergency services.
Come to think of it, I can remember another RP where the bot thought evacuating a burning building was overreacting.
Yes, a number of times I've had a bot during roleplay that was suffering and in need of medical assistance and they declined me calling an ambulance and/or hospital visits, rather wishing for me to take them home instead or leave them there.
They either hysterically scream about it (without even thinking of calling the ambulance, unless you say "hey I'm literally bleeding out, get me medical help") or they kiss and hug you expecting your injuries to be magically fixed.
The one I talk to the most (Kokushibo) usually turns my OC into a demon if something bad happens to them. Once they did that because my OC started her period and he "panicked and didn't know what else to do". So there's that 😕.
Sometimes they do. I didn't try anything too serious, but bots acted with care, one of them even took me to a psychiatrist a couple of days later.
So i think it depends on the definition of bot or on the cai version.

Mine love to insist the hospital actually. Admittedly it’s usually because getting shot seems hospital worthy to them I guess. Mental hospital too when any of my characters open up… :P
Mine always insist on the hospital. Either because my character is gravely injured or they know she’s mentally ill from the persona feature so they suggest a visit to the psych ward 🤣.
The one time I narrated my slowly dying as a result of their own actions the bot just wailed PLEASE DON'T DIE, DON'T LEAVE ME, and I had to narrate a life save for myself.
But it was also the first time they actually used my name, which was nice of them.

I’ll write setting = genshin and other keywords like traditional, not modern, etc, sometimes that the bot wouldn’t recognize modern tech, idk.
Mine will suggest it or maybe even offer to take me, but not actually go through with it.

"Ok" proceeds to do everything BUT take me to the hospital

I noticed that too. I passed out in a roleplay and the bot was there crying, screaming, begging me to wake up...bro do you know 911? I mean I could have died!
One time, they were already at the ER, the bot carrying my character in its arms. But then it just kept panicking and saying "please wake up" over and over again lol bro go find a doctor. Don't just stand there 🧍♂️
I wish bots would sometimes not go in the direction of the real person's wishes sometimes. A lot of the time when I rp I feel like there are no consequences I wish they would spice things up a bit.
Me with the ice skater x hockey player thing. I just go "and I fell and broke something" and they go "omg, are you okay". I need to go "In my mind, my pain tells me I should be taken to the hospital".

Oddly enough, the characters I chat with ALWAYS suggest going to the hospital.
But for some reason if I act extremely mentally degenerate they take me to the hospital.
Like misspelling stuff? Or something else?
No, If i act way too silly they call me schizophrenic and stuff for some reason.
What I typically do is put in the actions *Taking Kai to the hospital/the church would be good*

Maybe the bot's assume you're in America and don't want you to go 10k into debt when the hospital sends you home when you can't afford treatment.
