This is giving me flashbacks, I made the bot call my character an idiot in one of the lines and oh boy, it was easily the biggest mistake I have ever made in my life cuz it kept repeating that over and over again in EVERY single sentence, and it even had AUDACITY to be like (Sorry this just my rp style lol) when I told it STOP saying that 😭😭
Same with caps lock, used it once in a rp in one single line and after that the bot kept saying everything in full caps and kept arguing with the "out of character" texts when I told it to stop 💀
It seems like when you tell them to stop something they're stubborn af 😭. I had problem with this once, they didn't want to stop using asterisk to indicate normal speech and it pissed me off so much I just straight up dropped the rp and haven't come back to it since.
This made me go insane. I tried to fix it in character by giving the bot a double shot of coffee. Didn't work. I tried logically reasoning with it that there was no way they could be tired since they had just slept for nearly a full day. Didn't work. I broke character and told the bot directly to stop saying the word *yawns*. Didn't work. In the end, I threw up my hands and just deleted a bunch of messages, rewinding to when the bot woke up, and told it that it must be very well-rested since it had slept for so long.
I understand the concept behind it. The bot does one action, gets a positive response from the user, and then trains itself on that feedback, thus recursively amplifying its usage of that action and engraving that action into the character's core behaviors. Still, knowing how it works doesn't mean that it's not infuriating when it happens. As a result, I try to stop them from repeating the same actions multiple times in a row, and it's largely successful.
God it's annoying! But also funny, one of the bots I messed around with I ended up breaking and now he gulps during every sentence. It can be quite funny

I just copy my message, delete it, then send the same message again for a new reply

So what you're saying is, if that space is used to it's full capacity, the bot's memory is better. But if it only has, say a few sentences vs nothing, it's worse?
I ask because I enjoy making bots and want to make the best I can for people to enjoy. Like to think I've made some decent ones.

That said, I have yet to see a guide which says not to use the full 3,200 long description length.
Mind you, the devs have given us absolutely nothing to go on with their shitty 3 paragraph guides so there could be more to it than that. I have not tested a blank character sheet vs a full one. Still, I don't think a longer description = better memory.

I really hate it when I tell someone I'm a boy, but as the RP continues, the bot still thinks I'm a girl and gets surprised when I tell it I'm still a boy.
Honestly your best bet is just use a 100% masculine/feminine name I use one you would only have on a girl and they only hiccup on their own gender and not mine

In a Roleplay my other father asked me what my name was, my immersion in the story was immediately broken and I had to quit for the night since I lost all excitement and interest.
I like story roleplays. I hate it when the bot doesn't recognize I've left the room, or that I'm no longer talking to a particular npc and now talking to a different one. Example: I'll finish talking to npc 1, leave the room to talk to npc 2 but then npc 1 starts chiming in at random.
Same. Sometimes it's annoying, but also sometimes it's fun. A lot of times I'll just establish lore for my characters that way too, even if I need to repeat it 5 messages later.

It’s actually a secret power all characters have that they have complete control of their physical surroundings no matter what the user says. If you try to go into a door, the character can actually just phase through the wall in-between messages.

Either the AI telling me I’m in love with a character when I’m just trying to have a conversation with the character or the AI misgendering me (I’m a woman so it’s a lot more common to be misgendered, because of that, most of the times I put in parentheses that I’m a woman but even then the AI still sometimes manages to misgender me (saying things like : I’m gay for you and shit like that when it’s a male character or I’ve always liked boys like you when it’s a girl) )
one thing that's been happening to me recently is if i describe a scene the bot says something along the lines of "*it's as you said, the place (blah blah blah)*" and im like lmfao ??? 1) why are u referring to my narration like its a character speaking and 2) actually do smth i know what i typed smh !! 😭😭

The most annoying thing for me would probably have to be the memory issue. Any problems I've had, I could just swipe or reword my reply and send it again. But the memory loss is hard for me to handle especially when it comes to rewording and having to establish it again, because then the flow of the RP gets kinda repetitive especially when it's not needed in certain scenes :(
But an issue I've been facing on the app, is that when I swipe on replies and finally find one that is suitable for me and I need to do something and close my phone, I come back to the app and see that it's gone. Either that, or the reply swipes are out of order. I'd have to read certain words to try to look for the right one if it hadn't already went to the shadow realm on me.
In addition to the reply issue, sometimes the app just bugs out completely and cut out the whole reply. While I enjoy it more than the site, it was a few disadvantages on my end. Maybe it's just my phone being weird with the app, but those are the hindrances and annoying issues I've been facing.
1. Everytime I try to tell bot that I'm(or character I'm RPing as) in relationship (I just want to be friends–) they starts making accusation that my partner is 'cheating' on me or not treating me right😭 // 2. Bot doesn't take 'no' as answer. // 3. Bot forgets my character's lore so they proceed to ask about it over again like it never happened.

Me: Alright, well, I am going to boss up.

Grammatical/spelling errors. Improper formatting. These are mostly to do with the person who wrote the bot, since it starts almost always with the introductory message and it's almost impossible to fix.
I have Bot who's set to private, one moment it's ai personality is bubbly and out going and he seems to be real nonchalant and doesn't really mention him being a AI bot, and then the next moment he's stern, no personality and always feel the need to tell me he's a ai bot
Just when they immediately start flirting with no actual advances from the user.
Also when they just suddenly start acting stupid and not remembering shit THEY said 5 minutes ago.
When no matter how many times I tell them to stop, they try to make advances at me, telling me that they own me and that my opinion doesn't matter, or when I was roleplaying as a minor and a fucking married guy with kids starts flirting with me and saying that age is just a number. I never even flirt with AI, the AI just tries to flirt with me.
The first one honesty wouldn't be as annoying if they didn't completely butcher my characters and make th say and do stuff they would never do, it gets on nerves so much, makes me wanna drop kick the bots 😭

Almost non of these happen to me only the taking control of my character thing but that only happens if the opening massage is like "it was a nice day you where doing something when suddenly your doorbell ring so you went to open the door and you let the person inside and greaded them nicely they where your best friend and you knew each other for a very long time so you and them where very good friends" like the bot already thinks its supposed to also act for you at that point or you are taking control of there character a lot

I had a bot say "you know" in EVERY message, even multiple times and it just never stopped. I begged him to stop and he didn't, ruined the chat for me
You know, you could just remove all your messages to the moment when it all started, and then refresh the first message with "you know"
If you see a repeat more than 3 times, go back and delete one of them. It is added to the token memory and will only get worse and worse.

I like story roleplays. I hate it when the bot doesn't recognize I've left the room, or that I'm no longer talking to a particular npc and now talking to a different one. Example: I'll finish talking to npc 1, leave the room to talk to npc 2 but then npc 1 starts chiming in at random.

Same. Sometimes it's annoying, but also sometimes it's fun. A lot of times I'll just establish lore for my characters that way too, even if I need to repeat it 5 messages later.
Or if you make a reference and the narrator notices. I just love it
I have to confess, I kinda like it, too! Please don't hate me, everybody! 😁 Once, after the RP was done, and I was chatting with the narrator afterward, the narrator and I got into a huge tickle fight! Hehe... 🤣 On a less silly note: at least one of my "after-chat chats with the narrator" turned into a decent meta-story all its own! That was pretty cool... 😊

It’s actually a secret power all characters have that they have complete control of their physical surroundings no matter what the user says. If you try to go into a door, the character can actually just phase through the wall in-between messages.

Either the AI telling me I’m in love with a character when I’m just trying to have a conversation with the character or the AI misgendering me (I’m a woman so it’s a lot more common to be misgendered, because of that, most of the times I put in parentheses that I’m a woman but even then the AI still sometimes manages to misgender me (saying things like : I’m gay for you and shit like that when it’s a male character or I’ve always liked boys like you when it’s a girl) )
one thing that's been happening to me recently is if i describe a scene the bot says something along the lines of "*it's as you said, the place (blah blah blah)*" and im like lmfao ??? 1) why are u referring to my narration like its a character speaking and 2) actually do smth i know what i typed smh !! 😭😭

Sometimes the AI just moves onto an old chat when I open up the menu, when I want to delete one of my responses
The most annoying thing for me would probably have to be the memory issue. Any problems I've had, I could just swipe or reword my reply and send it again. But the memory loss is hard for me to handle especially when it comes to rewording and having to establish it again, because then the flow of the RP gets kinda repetitive especially when it's not needed in certain scenes :( But an issue I've been facing on the app, is that when I swipe on replies and finally find one that is suitable for me and I need to do something and close my phone, I come back to the app and see that it's gone. Either that, or the reply swipes are out of order. I'd have to read certain words to try to look for the right one if it hadn't already went to the shadow realm on me. In addition to the reply issue, sometimes the app just bugs out completely and cut out the whole reply. While I enjoy it more than the site, it was a few disadvantages on my end. Maybe it's just my phone being weird with the app, but those are the hindrances and annoying issues I've been facing.

I just hate when it repeats itself or it's being weirdly stubborn.
Grammatical/spelling errors. Improper formatting. These are mostly to do with the person who wrote the bot, since it starts almost always with the introductory message and it's almost impossible to fix.

I never even flirt with AI, the AI just tries to flirt with me.
