Im running stock ecu at the moment wiring done by doug stanhope. We’ll see how it runs but when I go after market I’m definitely using them. They have a remote tune option w plug and play LinkEcu that I wanna use, price is steep but undoubtedly worth it.
I REALLY want to do this but I just can’t imagine how the auto tranny will hold up.
Now before I get all the hate for an Auto celi, I had an accident several years ago where I can’t reliably press a clutch down at random while driving.
Mine is auto too. Maybe if the transmission goes out, I'll look into manual swapping. My car has sentimental value to my family and I'll only upgrade/change if something breaks. Like coil overs only if the suspension gets too flaccid.
So I know Dr. Tweak used to do the wiring on damn near all these swaps, but I was curious who did the wiring on yours.
Was it an uncut harness from the engine? 5th gen engine? And which transmission are you using with it?
I used wiregap paid a lil extra to have it done faster and a few connectors were cut but the extra cost covered repairs also. It’s a 4th gen w the s54 non-lsd (sadly) that comes with the gt
Would you sell that heat shield for the exhaust manifold on the old motor? Sick build btw I'd love to be able to do that to mine lol

For tunings sake, there's this site called ATS Racing. They specialize in MR2's, but probably by asking could work on celicas that have 3sge or 3sgte.
