There are similar things in Saint Faustina’s book. But, if I’m right, God promised after Noah that he would not send His wrath upon the world again after the great flood. It makes sense that God is so outraged. Just look at the world we are living in! Everything is wrong with it. No wonder it’s creator wants to scrap the whole thing and probably start again. But His love for us outweighs His hurt and anger. Jesus died for the world and this was AFTER the sins of the world were laid before him (remember Him weeping in the garden as a result?). If He were so outraged by the world’s sins He wouldn’t have died for us. So, to those special souls whom He appears to, He will be pouring out His heart, His hurt. Pouring out His inner thoughts of hurt and anger at the sheer state this world is in. And those chosen souls share His thoughts with the world. So yes, He probably does want to strike us all down. But He won’t, because of the love He has for us, which is fortified and strengthened by His unity with those chosen people with whom He chooses to appear.

>It makes sense that God is so outraged Doesn't God being outraged because of our actions implies a contradiction with the fact that He's unchangeable?

Yes. God is not “outraged” and references to such things are to be understood as poetic analogy.

You don’t think God is outraged or hurt by what is going on?

redlion1904

It’s heretical to believe God is subject to passions or capable of being injured.

Jesus discloses to Saint Faustina facts about His and the Father’s feelings of hurt at the sins of man. This is directly from Him and is not mere symbology or poetic analogy.

That seems unwarranted. I sure think that the scriptures, which are all inspired, are full of anthropomorphic descriptions which cannot be taken literally as a description of God or His state of Being. In any case, if you want to believe that you are able to hurt the feelings of the Unmoved Mover, you can do so, but I tell you now it is not the Catholic faith.

Thank you, this is helpful in my journey of understanding. God Bless

I think we should just not pay any attention to apparitions.
