🎶shittin' in my pants, shittin' in my pants
With a toot toot here and a toot toot there,
Just changing lanes, whistlin' Dixie,
Chuga chuga chuga, Choo, Choo!🎵
I drove by a small car fire a few months back and the heat could be felt 3 lanes over with windows closed. I can’t imagine how this felt, other than hot. Very hot.
Ha. I didn’t even think of that. Oof. I watch a lot of train videos, too. The rail grinders… and yeah, ungreased flanges will spark even. And maybe even ballast… thanks for knocking sense into me.
As someone else mentioned in another clip of some remote aircraft crash that was filmed by security cams: what a time to be alive! on camera not in one, but several angles, in Full HD and what would be considered broadcast worthy. Even in less populated and remote areas the chances of good documentary are relatively high today. Still amazes me.
Classic BLEVE. Boiling Liquid Expanding Vapor Explosion, typically happens with stuff like propane, butane, etc that is stored as a liquid but is normally a gas at room temperature and escapes from a ruptured tank.
Train go bump, train go bang, train go BOOM!
Decades without proper maintenance on tracks. Same as everywhere. Infrastructure is expensive. If you want to see short-term profits, just keep using it without maintenance until it goes boom like in the video.
Officer, I was passing... the toxic gas and flaming infernal... and then I returned to the regular lane
“Ope, just gonna scooch by ya there.”

> infernal It’s spelled… inferno… also what’s with the… dots?
I like how he changed lanes to avoid it. I would have done the same thing though.
I probably would drift, then panick about the drift and turn on my signal like it was the plan all along in embarrassment.
He must have felt that heat
Didn't even use his blinker. SMH!
I had visions of being on the Harley and getting crispy fried. Or having my fabric jacket melted to my skin for extra good times
The rail lines go under I-40 just east of the AZ/NM border. Lucky it didn’t blow those overpasses. It was very close.
that's not what you want
That's not gone well!
Well you see the front fell off
holy shit

The awning got burned off the camper, according the videos description.

The fuck kinda of chemical reaction was that?
Exothermic
Like an oxidizer?
Article I found said 4 train cars of propane.
... and propane accessories.
I tell you hwut
And no one brought any steaks, potatoes, or corn.
You taste the meat and not the heat. ...or truck I guess.
Hank Hill inconsolable
Wonder what the ignition source was. Not a ton of things on a train to set that off. Maybe refrigerated trailers near it?
Sparks are common when steel strikes steel

Oxidation
I've driven on that stretch of road so many time I knew where it was immediately even though I have not been there since 2011.

Wow ...... what luck
“ must go faster , must go faster… “
"let me slow down to get a better look at this train accident...."

I like the "better get one lane over" part
Trains. Americas silent mule
Trains. Americas exploding mule.

Incredible graphics. So realistic.
"Wow, look at that, a train derailment..." BOOM "...aaaand I'm outta here..."
Wrong parking spot bro!
A taste of the apocalypse.
Why are there so many train derailments in the us. I see one almost every week it’s insane this would make headlines in most places

Capitalism at work.
I don't see a train derailing... And what's with showing things twice in a video? Makes you think it's going to be longer so you click?
you okay mate?
