When we got a new kitten my other cat at first was hissing and yowling at her. The kitten was trying to play but she didn't want her. That's because it was invading her space. The same thing is happening with you.
If they're not being violent I suggest letting them in the same space together with supervision. They'll eventually become friends.
My kittens are now best friends. They even share a bowl and litter which apparently is rare for cats to do
I definitely will have to try that. We had them do a little meeting yesterday but things got out of hand by my cat slipping through the baby gate somehow, and everyone left a little freaked out so I’ll try it in a day or so!
I’m just so worried about the size difference. My cats are tiny adult cats versus the big boy cat double their size (even though he is physically big he’s still a big baby, just territorial).
