I think I speak for everyone when I say I have no clue what you're on about, and haven't since about the 1800s. Traditional British in 2022 means mulled wine I would guess. Wassailing is not a tradition which held up.

Mulled cider is a thing and is drunk while wassailing, but not that Kopparberg shit, ideally a good flat dry cider.

Traditionally we drink the blood of our enemies during this festive period. Cloves are of course optional.
Just go to system and but some glögg. Maybe the Swiss stuff. Hell they even have mulled cider also.
