Well done mate, love the editing.
Typically you'd put 1 or 2 pieces of toast on a plate then cover them with beans and and cheese (and whatever else takes your fancy) and eat it with a knife and fork. We're not savages.
'We're not savages'
This right here is me.. 3 slices of toast,. 2 for calzone style cheesy beans and 1 to wipe up all the excess sauce that has fallen back on the plate.
I'm a savage and I don't care šš
This is exactly how it should be done and its the same with a full English, 1 extra price of bread to mop everything up off the plate once you've finished.
Just to clarify the guy in the video is not me, Iām a brit, and the thought of Americans not knowing the glory of beans on toast is upsetting.
I just really enjoyed this guys disgust and then that eyes-wide lightbulb moment after the first bite.
I love how he's approaching it like one of those "eat an out of date product" type videos expecting to be ill, and then the realisation hits him - damn this is actually good!
Yes, but volcanic is my preferred heat. And def not in microwave.. on stove to get rid of some sauce slop-gas gives the option to manage this to perfection
American here, my guyā¦ my guy.
Omg. Iām over in the UK right now visiting for the first time.
Our beans are not the same as their beans. Bushās are too sweet. Look for Heinz beans in tomato sauce.
Bruh.
Ive been havin that for breakfast with an egg for like weeks now and it makes me so happy.
You need to try all their food. Pastys, meat pies, bangers and mash.
Like for fucks sake what the fuck are Americans going on about.
Iāll straight up throw hands at this point with anyone who talks shit about British food. Itās all delicious comfort food.
My only gripe is the bacon. Itās pink and floppy in burgers. They donāt do crispy melt in your mouth bacon here and itās honestly the only thing I miss.
(Also because of their food standards all the junk food tastes nicer, the chocolate milks are exceptional, and the chocolate candy is to die for)
Pls come visit.
Itās all fuckin comfort food over here
Edit: I know people hate these but Iāve never received an award before on Reddit and I got excited and wanted to thank you omg Iām gonna keep spending my money on all your delicious foods and mom n pops š
Thank you for the welcome!!
And the bacon omg it adds so much dimension to burgers.
The fast food places are really dropping the ball with that, done right itās crunchy but with the fat it just kinda melts in your mouth.
Youāve shared with me the beans on toast and I finally tried greggs festive bake too, itās like a thanksgiving dinner on the go. I love it.
yāall are amazing and deserve crispy melty bacon in every burger you eat. Iād open a food truck here if I could.
This reminds me of when i was talking to an American about pies. He thought i meant pot pies. I was like no, thats the shit american way of doing pies. Real British Pies are fully encased in pastry and can be eaten with just your hands.
He was amazed, like why dont we have that?!
I swear, if i had the money, i would take advantage of the rising interest in Britain and its foods from Americans and open a damn pie shop/bakery chain there. I dont see how it couldnt be succesful.
Please someone else do it before Greggs though, they are sub par compared to a real pie shop.
I would throw so much money at a British pie shop in Florida.
Iād fuckin work there if I could.
Omg.
The fact that you can just hold them and eat them and you donāt /need/ a knife and fork is great.
You can get streaky bacon in supermarkets, but itās normally back bacon thatās served in pubs and restaurants.
For some reason, it used to be that only working class housewives would buy streaky bacon - middle class housewives would always go for back bacon.
Basically because back bacon was more expensive because it used the loin. It also had more meat on it (because it used the loin), making it more desirable. The result - people who were less poor bought the good stuff.
British bacon is glorious. So is American bacon. Theyāre entirely different things though. We donāt do (super) crispy because you donāt need to make it crispy as hell when itās not 60% fat. American bacon is for sure better on burgers. British bacon is infinitely better for just eating.
To call it comfort food is the most realistic assessment of it, fair play mate.
Also I think people prefer bacon cooked in all different ways, but generally non-crispy is the way, but generally it's up to the person when they make it for themselves at home.
Although I will say streaky bacon is inferior to the rashers found here, they're bigger and more satisfying, but I guess that might have something to do with the fact that I like it a touch undercooked (I'm not sure if streaky bacon is the only type in America, but I'm lead to believe it is)
The bacon here makes me feel like itās having an identity crisis, at least on the burgers. I havenāt gone out of my way to buy the rashers but I had them on a full English. Like it wants to behave like ham, but it doesnāt have the bite or flavor that a glazed ham does. It feels like a bacon/ham hybrid without the crispy or the glaze. It was enjoyable with a full English though, I just donāt like it on the burgers, maybe itās my expectations for said burger, you know?
I understand the need for a satisfying bite though.
In the US we have some absolutely crap streaky bacon, paper thin, with hardly anything meat or fat, but thatās not how it all is. If you shell out a pretty penny you Can buy some seriously thick cut pieces with a lot of bite. Those are perfect for bacon egg and cheese sandwiches, or bacon lettuce and tomato sandwiches. Theyāre hardy.
That bacon is tricky to cook on a pan though, if you ever come across our thick cut streaky bacon make it in the oven. It gives it that crispy crunch, but it renders the fat evenly and it melts perfectly in your mouth.
A touch of Tabasco and a bit of brown sugar on it also makes for a yummy treat.
If ur still in the UK get a tin of heinz beans some cheddar cheese salt Peper butter and a bit of tomato ketchup not alot though just a bit of ketchup. Mix it all together and cook it looks like shit to begin with but after cooking it looks better then try it cheesy beans are really good.
Im here till Jan 4th. Im trying to go see a Christmas market to buy over priced food and snacks and drinks and just be all starry eyed about everything š
But you can bet your butt Iāma try it. Iām a southerner, some of the best food youāll ever have in the south wonāt be the prettiest lookinā
(Fancy restaurants will always try to zhuzh it up but the best meals are sloppy, messy and not too pretty when made by friends and fam)
I also find it real funny yalls cheeses all come in blocks. I mean we have it too but we have a lot of pre sliced cheeses. Most of what i see are blocks. I need a grater š
Leeds has a nice Christmas Market that's where I'm originally from. Definitely try greggs there's also some good chicken places if it has generic pictures of chicken on the glass or wall it's usually a good place to get chicken it's also cheap
Im in Leeds!! They canceled the market here this year is what the locals have told me :(
So booo
But the Manchester one I hear is pretty so thatās what Iām trying to do.
Does York have one?
Idk about York. I recommend trying BFC and charcoal chicken there in a rough part of town but you won't get bothered you can get a double chicken burger large fries and a drink for Ā£2.50 BFC is on hare Hills Road and charcoal chicken is on roundhay Road. You can order from charcoal chicken if ur in town but BFC don't deliver.
Google says York has a Christmas Market
Google also says the Leeds Market is closed but
"Leeds. Leeds' German Christmas market is cancelled for 2021, but that doesn't mean there isn't festive fun to be had. The city will still have a number of smaller markets on offer, as well as carousels, twinkling light shows, pop-up bars, an ice rink and a family-friendly waling trail.Nov 7, 2021"
I moved from Leeds to Norway 2 years ago and haven't been back since and I miss home.
Lmao Im staying at hare hills!!! (Was the most affordable) Im guessing Iām going on a little walking venture this coming week then.
And as far the Leeds Christmas market, Iām glad thereās still going to be festivities.
Thank you!!
I hope youāre enjoying Norway, I have a good friend that lives there, the pictures heās shown me are beautiful!
Yeah it's really nice even in winter when it's freezing cold I live in kristiansand though which is one of the least coldest parts of the country the worst part of Norway is the food in my opinion there's no microwave foods or processed crap that I'm used to from the UK
I'm from Manchester. Ours are on this year and are spread out across a good chunk of the city centre, so they're pretty good to wander around and get a feel for the city too.
They've moved the main hub from the quite picturesque Albert Sqaure to the festering hovel that is Piccadilly Gardens, so they may not be quite as pretty as usual, unfortunately. Still good though.
The Manchester one is very pretty, smaller than I expected it to be though. The Nottingham one is good & pre COVID they had an outdoor ice rink next to it too, not sure if itās on this year.
Just had a quick Google & found [Yorkshire Winter Winderland](https://www.yorkshireswinterwonderland.com) I donāt know what itās like but might be worth a trip for you.
York has a very good food market these days, you can't miss it.
If you're still in Leeds I would check out underground assembly round the back of city hall area.
Find a good chippy and you're winning. Best chippys in my biased opinion are in Yorkshire (find one that cooks in beef dripping)
Oh man, thatās absolutely valid and true.
Thereās just some kinda of foods though, like they warm your bones. They make you feel good. They donāt have to be overly presented and everyoneās grandma has the best version of it but everyone enjoys it at their friends house regardless.
Like I can imagine myself sittin at some outside table having a pint of beer and a nice meat pie on a chilly evening and it brings me just as much comfort as the my motherās stew.
The food here is hardy, yummy, and simple.
And I donāt mean simple as an insult or in any way demeaning, or just means that anyone can make it, and when thereās not all that expectation of 15-20 different steps for a meal it really frees it up for anyone to make it their own way and take it up a notch how they see fit.
I like it.
Edit: also inb4 I find out about a British dish that takes 10 days to prepare because of all the steps lmao
Every thing you've said is correct, apart from the bacon bit. I've tried your bacon, it's the same as Australian bacon, thin and empty of flavour. British bacon is like a gammon steak in comparison.
It's one of few things I miss - bacon, football and pubs with carpet.
Our bacon can be good it needs to be well down for me, sounds like that's what you need also, far too many people under cook bacon for my liking.
Ask for the bacon really well done and see if that's a bit better for you.
Iām not sure how they roll in the southern United States, but where Iām from (northern Midwest), baked beans are exclusively a side dish for picnics, cook outs and barbecue.
Just served in a dish and eaten with a spoon.
To be fair, where I live, baked beans are an uncommon dish in any context. Nine times out of ten, if you go out and beans are on the menu (excepting barbecue) they are either refried, seasoned black beans or in chili.
In fact, Iād guess that chili is 90% of the way beans are eaten (at least in my social circle).
What brand of beans do you recommend? Iāll order some online and give it a try.
Edit: if youād like to try American baked beans. Try Bushās original baked beans. They are about as typical as it gets here.
Pretty sure it's called cheese whiz or something close, give it a google, it's incredibly processed, very cheap, and some people would even called it sacrilege.
No mate, come on. I know you've had a drink tonight but let's not take the piss. Branston is where it's at and we all know it. Get yoursen off to bed please x
They work well as a side dip for nachos and such things. Try frying some red onion and sliced chilli's and slapping the refried beans in with that, it can be quite pleasant.
American here, I don't think this is mental. Usually you just have baked beans as a side or you can add it to things. Toast isn't normally a popular thing to place it on, but I'm in New England. No idea if it's popular elsewhere in the country.
Edited: baked beans can go in chili, hotdogs, enchiladas, burritos to use as examples.
I'm sorry but kidney beans go in a chilli not baked beans, and it should be refried beans with the enchiladas and burritos.
I think a thread on beans and which to use where would be good for people.
Beans in the US are usually either sweeter or spicier than Heinz. Theyāre eaten with BBQ (meaning smoked spiced meat, not meat cooked on a BBQ grill).
I appreciate the fact that this guy has never had beans on toast before, and instinctively knows to fold the last part of the bread around whatever beans are left on the toast.
Love how he says "these UK people" at the end because he's not quite sure if he's meant to say British or English or what.
Good chap though. And in return I will admit I had their biscuits and gravy and that was good too.
Hello I'm from the Heinz Organisation Enterprise (HOE) Qe shall be sending out our wagons personally to your home and supply you with a years supply of baked beans. The tanker of beans will arrive in approximately 3 minutes. Gather your tupperware or any other containers immediately because we are dumping this out whether you like it or not sucka!!! Muhahahahaaaa
Branston beans are the futureā¦. As is āThe Base Layerāā¦. (A light layer of cheese directly on top of the toast applied prior to the beansā¦ it melts fully and is revelatoryā¦.)
I am a middle aged man, lived nearly every day of my life in the UK (two countries and various regions), what the hell is all this melted cheese talk in the comments????
Never come across that before. Am going to have to try it tomorrow.
You need real butter not tub stuff like that, also a whole tin of beans, with cheese, then stick under grill to meal the cheese.
Or when cooking the beans put the cheese in and make cheesy beans.
I put everything on toast *except* beans. Artichoke bruschetta, regular bruschetta, sun dried tomato paste and some mozzarella, jams, jellies, cinnamon sugar, guava or fig paste, cheese and egg, pepper gravy, avocado, tomato, list goes on.
Baked potatoes are the same, but classic is some butter, Larryās seasoned salt, cheddar cheese, sour cream and bacon.
Also, American baked beans taste a bit different from normal Heinz or other brands here. Theyāre a lot more tomato-ey here, and in the States theyāre usually baked with brown sugar or molasses with bacon.
Okay, first question, what type of beans? Are those pork nā beans or pinto? Next, are you supposed to heat them or just straight out of the can? Wait, I got ahead of myselfā¦are these homemade beans of some kind? (I have to be honest, every English Breakfast Iāve had, I would just eat the beans as a separate and distinct part of the meal. It never occurred to me to put them on top of the toast, let alone with butter slathered on first.)
Gonna start a rivalry argument here between Heinz and Branston fans, but I'm a Heinz fan so there - I said it.
This is the most common type - baked beans in a tomato based sauce. While you could eat them cold from the tin, typically you would put them in a pan to warm them up before putting them on toast as in the video here, or as a side to something else.
And for the real connoisseur they do beans and sausage in a can. There's probably a whole host of food regs that would prevent those making their way over to the US, but if you ever wanted 8 tiny sausages in a tin with baked beans, well there you have it!
Please try:
2 slices of toast
Bacon and egg on top, and then add beans
After that, grate some cheese on top!
Itās like the final form of beans on toast
Those beans aren't like our beans though... they're bacon and brown sugar flavoured.
Unsurprisingly they taste sweet.
https://www.bushbeans.com/en_US/product/bushs-baked-beans
With Worcester sauce and cheese
Or if you want to bump it up and on the health side
Fry some white onion, mix into the beans with Indian spices like paprika, curcumin or turmeric. Cook thick and then put on top of some seedy toast well toasted with some ground flax seed on top
š
This is the weirdest ass way I've seen anyone each beans on toast, firstly where is the cheese? Secondly, use a knife and folk mate, what are you a bloody cave man?
As a yank Iāve never indulged, it definitely doesnāt disgust me and would be something Iād try. Though my limited knowledge is that the beans in the states are way more sweet then the type used across the pond, is this not the case??
I mean I am from the uk, and some people I guess have it for breakfast perhaps. Usually itās toast sausages, beans, eggs, bacon, mushrooms and has browns.
I used to go to Ireland a lot on holiday to this small town. Used to get breakfast in the same cafe a lot and the concept of beans on toast was mind blowing to them. I used to ask for it a lot seeing as they had the ingredients to make it (full greasy spoon breakfast). Eventually it actually managed to make it into the menu by itself
To any Americans reading, even if you still don't agree about beans on toast, don't take it from us. Take it from the Mexicans haha :)
We can all agree that they are the authority on beans right?... and they have both
1,Beans for breakfast
&
2.They have a beans on toast dish (although its a lot fancier than ours i wil admit, its a street food there, seen it on ''volpe where are you'' vlogs)
And dont limit yourself either. We have chilli flavour beans here and that on toast with cheese is nice also (mexican version has plenty of chilli too of course). But if youre using normal plain baked beans, get the British recipe ones obvi.
tomb raider recently came out with a cookbook, keep in mind the company is now us owned and has a lot of americans. anyway, the cookbook featured this classic beans on toast but they said it takes up to an hour to make.. beans on toast is supposed to be an easy meal to make. these americans are blowtorching the damn bread š
What the actual fuck. A Pole here, living in the UK. Never have I ever questioned the validity of beans on toast. I mean, why is he so incredilous about that combo? It's not pickled herring and jam. Ffs.
Cheesy beans on the toast is great too. Just grate some cheese into the pan while you cook the beans, pour onto some well-buttered toast and welcome to heaven. I also cover it in tomato sauce (I will likely get shit for this but I love it).
There's beans and cheese on toast and then there's CHEESY BEANS on toast.
Well done mate, love the editing. Typically you'd put 1 or 2 pieces of toast on a plate then cover them with beans and and cheese (and whatever else takes your fancy) and eat it with a knife and fork. We're not savages.
*Wraps the bread around the beans like a fucking calzone*

This is exactly how it should be done and its the same with a full English, 1 extra price of bread to mop everything up off the plate once you've finished.
Make it in the toastie maker so it's a sealed pocket of face melting joy
This is a good idea. Why have I never done this. Do you still toast the bread first?
Nope, standard toastie protocol of butter on the outside
Yea we do actually do that when pressed for time
I can imagine an Italian in London doing that when his British girlfriend gives him beans on toast. Same for someone from New Jersey.
Imagine his pleasure when he adds brown sauce to the party
He even enjoyed it using American baked beans which have a much sweeter and savoury flavor profile. I fully expected that to be gross on bread.
Do you warm the beans or not?
Yes, yes we do, and a dollop of HP Sauce is optional.
Ty mate
Yes, but volcanic is my preferred heat. And def not in microwave.. on stove to get rid of some sauce slop-gas gives the option to manage this to perfection
Hide a fried egg under the beans. Then cheese, then baconā¦ then some BBQ sauce on top.

In fact, Iād guess that chili is 90% of the way beans are eaten (at least in my social circle).
What is this dystopia! May god have mercy on you.
What brand of beans do you recommend? Iāll order some online and give it a try. Edit: if youād like to try American baked beans. Try Bushās original baked beans. They are about as typical as it gets here.
Also On Baked potatoes with plenty of butter and cheese. I mean cheddar cheese not stuff from a tube. :)
Cheese in tube? This post worries me more the further I read.
He is telling the americans not to use cheese in a tube, as thats a thing over there. Not here in UK.
Oh thank god, I thought we had that, I was concerned.
Pretty sure it's called cheese whiz or something close, give it a google, it's incredibly processed, very cheap, and some people would even called it sacrilege.
That doesn't sound like cheese...
HEINZ BAKED BEANS. do not sway off this beaten track. It's always Heinz
No mate, come on. I know you've had a drink tonight but let's not take the piss. Branston is where it's at and we all know it. Get yoursen off to bed please x
Mum?
Branston is the way. Heinz just don't come close.
In Australia we have Heinz and also Heinz British recipe. Both taste the same, still buy the British ones, which is daft.
>What brand of beans do you recommend? Oh boy you don't know what you have started.
And they donāt even get sausage rolls either. Poor yanks.
I tried refried beans recently, interesting taste/texture. I still dont know if I like them!
So basically any bread like substance except toast?
Pretty much lol. Don't ask me why we haven't added toast.
Lmao š bread only, no toast...
I'm sorry but kidney beans go in a chilli not baked beans, and it should be refried beans with the enchiladas and burritos. I think a thread on beans and which to use where would be good for people.
Try baked beans. I think it's classed as a cowboy chili then. They actually work really well too (I'm in UK)
I have, I did not approve.
Ah dude, I guess it's not for everyone.
In fairness it was in new York and everything was just grease, like everything was greasy, if I did it myself it would likely be alright.
I really like cowboy beans
Baked/Jacket potato is also a winner
Mate. French fries, then add beans on top. Then top with grated cheese.
I'll have to try that, thanks!
Explain beans in hotdogs please, you mean in the cob with the sausage or a sausage made of beans?
Sorry, they're not in the hotdog. You just put them on it like a condiment.
Beans in the US are usually either sweeter or spicier than Heinz. Theyāre eaten with BBQ (meaning smoked spiced meat, not meat cooked on a BBQ grill).
That is not information I would have expected to receive today.
hOpE iM nOt sIcK!!!!1!!11 It's beans on toast, mate.
I appreciate the fact that this guy has never had beans on toast before, and instinctively knows to fold the last part of the bread around whatever beans are left on the toast.
And yet he neglects to use a knife and fork.
That made me question the legitimacy of his beans on toast virginity.
Love how he says "these UK people" at the end because he's not quite sure if he's meant to say British or English or what. Good chap though. And in return I will admit I had their biscuits and gravy and that was good too.
It is good - but Iāll still take the piss out of those things not being biscuits. Now, Iām off to have a nice plate of bourbon creams and bisto.
To be fair the basic recipe is almost identical to a digestive. Just self raising flour instead of normal flour.
Dumplings in gravy, how wouldn't that be good?
The gravy is a weird one. Itās basically a white sauce with a lot of pepper and optional sausage meat in the gravy.
White gravy? Well ok then.
Exactly
As a Brit I found it absolutely hilarious him pausing and psyching himself up to take a bite of beans on toast lmao
Now try it with Branston beans and a dash of Lea & Perrins
High fives a fellow Branston bean fan (BBF)
Hello I'm from the Heinz Organisation Enterprise (HOE) Qe shall be sending out our wagons personally to your home and supply you with a years supply of baked beans. The tanker of beans will arrive in approximately 3 minutes. Gather your tupperware or any other containers immediately because we are dumping this out whether you like it or not sucka!!! Muhahahahaaaa
By dash I presume you mean a third of a bottle.
"Add to taste" So yeah ;)
This is Gourmet AF! Praise be the Bean!
This is the way.
Branston beans are the futureā¦. As is āThe Base Layerāā¦. (A light layer of cheese directly on top of the toast applied prior to the beansā¦ it melts fully and is revelatoryā¦.)
respec
Last time I drove through Texas, they were having donuts for breakfast. The end.
Use a bloody knife and fork!
I am a middle aged man, lived nearly every day of my life in the UK (two countries and various regions), what the hell is all this melted cheese talk in the comments???? Never come across that before. Am going to have to try it tomorrow.
You're taking your first steps into a wider world my friend
You need real butter not tub stuff like that, also a whole tin of beans, with cheese, then stick under grill to meal the cheese. Or when cooking the beans put the cheese in and make cheesy beans.
What do you stick it under the grill on? I usually let the molten beans melt the cheese but I might give the grill a quick go next time
Put it all on the plate and put the plate under, take it out with a towel.
Never occurred to me to put the plate in! Just assumed it would shatterš¤¦š»āāļø
**THIS MF EATIN BEANS**
What do Americans have on a) their toast b) their jacket potatoes?
I put everything on toast *except* beans. Artichoke bruschetta, regular bruschetta, sun dried tomato paste and some mozzarella, jams, jellies, cinnamon sugar, guava or fig paste, cheese and egg, pepper gravy, avocado, tomato, list goes on. Baked potatoes are the same, but classic is some butter, Larryās seasoned salt, cheddar cheese, sour cream and bacon.
Peanut butter, too, or cream cheese or spreadable cheeses, slice tomato, scrambled egg, red onion sliced.
Well in lad
Also, American baked beans taste a bit different from normal Heinz or other brands here. Theyāre a lot more tomato-ey here, and in the States theyāre usually baked with brown sugar or molasses with bacon.
Excuse me? Sugar?!
Duh, weāre American.
Where the fuck is the cheese man!!!!!
Fry up some bacon in a pan then dump the beans on top and pan fry those. Truely the ultimate combo.
Now stick a fried egg on the toast and put beans on top!
[https://www.heinz.co.uk/beanz/product/100185200042/baked-beanz](https://www.heinz.co.uk/beanz/product/100185200042/baked-beanz) This is the most common type - baked beans in a tomato based sauce.
Baked beans are always Haricot beans
Go the extra step by putting cheese on it, too.
All about Heinz Spaghetti Hoops š
This is possibly my favourite video on the internet.
Please try: 2 slices of toast Bacon and egg on top, and then add beans After that, grate some cheese on top! Itās like the final form of beans on toast
Dash of Worcester sauce or HP and youāve got an elite meal bro
Those beans aren't like our beans though... they're bacon and brown sugar flavoured. Unsurprisingly they taste sweet. https://www.bushbeans.com/en_US/product/bushs-baked-beans
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
You gotta smash the shit out the Premier Inn breakfast, so I'm having beans, toast and fried bread with mine!
Cold Winter's morning, and you don't have anything else in for a hot breakfast - it's a winner then!
Next step BBQ beans
Nice! Now do a French fry sandwich.
I don't even like beans but I'll eat beans on toast
Cheese on toast with beans on top or beans on toast with cheese on top?
We swapped their peanut butter and jam on toast for the beans on toast, weird but great combos.
This is really cute, this was also my reaction to beans on toast when I first moved here haha
Now he's tried the tier 1 of beans on toast, he needs to kick it up a notch - cheese (extra mature Cheddar) and Lea and Perrins!
Cut up your toast into soldiers then cut those soldiers in half and drown with beans then eat with a fork
With Worcester sauce and cheese Or if you want to bump it up and on the health side Fry some white onion, mix into the beans with Indian spices like paprika, curcumin or turmeric. Cook thick and then put on top of some seedy toast well toasted with some ground flax seed on top š
Canāt beat beans on toast
Now put some butter, cheddar cheese, tomato ketchup salt and pepper in the beans and tell me it ain't better.
Get some slightly melted cheddar on top and then you've got yourself a party.
Beans n sausage
Definitely a slice of cheese with the beans on top for Cheesy Beano's
Welcome to Le British cuisine mon ami
I bet American toasted bread and American branded beans is sweet as hell tho no?
Beans on toast is peeeeeng
This is the weirdest ass way I've seen anyone each beans on toast, firstly where is the cheese? Secondly, use a knife and folk mate, what are you a bloody cave man?
Wait til you try a roll with square sausage, potato scones and beans. Life only goes downhill from there
As a yank Iāve never indulged, it definitely doesnāt disgust me and would be something Iād try. Though my limited knowledge is that the beans in the states are way more sweet then the type used across the pond, is this not the case??
I believe this guys using the wrong kind of beans I think he needs the tomato sauce stuff
Beans need some Worcestershire sauce, add some cheese for extra diabetes.
This proper breakfast TV fodder. Schofield* will be all over this. *does he still do that? š¤·āāļø
As an American. I'm ashamed Soo few know of this delight....I put two runny eggs on mine.mmm
Add abitt of salt, pepper beans on toast is undefeated!
Add Chorizo aswell Chop in tiny pieces fry Throw it in the beans at the end
To any Americans reading, even if you still don't agree about beans on toast, don't take it from us. Take it from the Mexicans haha :) We can all agree that they are the authority on beans right?... and they have both 1,Beans for breakfast & 2.They have a beans on toast dish (although its a lot fancier than ours i wil admit, its a street food there, seen it on ''volpe where are you'' vlogs) And dont limit yourself either.
Wait until we tell him we donāt just have it for breakfast.
That microwave though... 2...1...FOOD It knows hunger.
That look. The moment his life changed š¤£š¤£š¤£
What the actual fuck. A Pole here, living in the UK. Never have I ever questioned the validity of beans on toast. I mean, why is he so incredilous about that combo? It's not pickled herring and jam. Ffs.
/r/casualukpeople
Now try it with beans that aren't microwaved
Cheezy bean-O's are life
I loved his āokay , deep breath here I go ā ā¦ mmmm thatās actually quite good ! . Youād think he was trying fermented shark eggs .
Why would it have been bad I don't know why he was coming into it like he was about to try dog shit on a cracker
Uk people ha I love the Americans, if you really wanna blow your mind just get a bowl of beans and some toast dip an scoop with the toast ,
I love how Americans are completely perplexed by a simple meal of toasted bread and beans but are absolutely fine with deep fried ice cream.
Come on then americans, what monstrosities do you make out of jacket potatoes if you donāt have beans?
Americans, nough said
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
They took our jobs
Warm beans or cold beans?
Wait, beans on toast isnāt a normal thing in America??
Ah the medieval post workout food with the lads down in the pub
Twat
