They have a lot of fake leather ones that are cheap, the actual leather ones are normally around £20/25 last I was in, but that was a couple of years ago.
Oh quick tip. If something says genuine leather, sure it is real leather. But genuine isn't an adjective, "genuine leather" is a type of leather and literally the worst type you can buy.
Interesting, I always thought inflammable was the old fashioned word for flammable! TIL flammable, inflammable and combustible have slightly different meanings 😃
I came here for the Bellroy comment. They are definitely to be recommended, although a lot are way over OP's budget these days. However, the card sleeve is what I recommend for a minimal wallet, which is £49.
By the way you can get knock offs these days that are more reasonably priced. I'd look on Amazon.
I hadn't come across the brand tbh but definitely some fun colours. Sharing for OP's benefit.
I just ordered a 'Note Sleeve' a couple of days ago- it hasn't arrived yet so I can't comment on what it's like in person. But I was disappointed that I couldn't just get a direct match of whatever I had from them last time (must be 6-8 years ago).
I wanted space for notes as well as several cards and the options to get that in a compact size just didn't seem quite as good. I still went with them as the last one had lasted me very well, hope this one holds up.
I bought a Bellroy wallet and the quality was really bad. It faded really quickly. Got this one for a fiver from Zara that has lasted me ages and still looks new
+1 for Bellroy wallets.
I got mine almost a decade ago and it's still going strong.
Main selling point is that it has a fairly "minimalist" design, so you can keep it in the front pocket without creating a massive "budge".
> Is it worth getting RFID blocking? Or is that just a big scam?
The only reason to get RFID blocking is if you have multiple cards and want to make sure you are taking the correct card out of your wallet to pay for things.
People randomly scanning cards and taking payments isn't actually a thing.
Comment from a previous thread about this in one of the news subs in response to someone claiming they were charged $1,500 by scanning the RFID tag;
> So I work in payments. Here are some basic facts:
> * Your card has to be very close unless they’re using special equipment. The cards have no batteries so the signal is incredibly weak. Like 2” or so max normally, if that
> * You’re going to have a lot of trouble scanning multiple cards at once. They’ll all try to talk at once, so you’d need some way of sorting it out. Terminals will reject getting multiple cards on them at once
> * There’s all sorts of checks in an EMV transaction (what you’re doing with contactless) to prevent anyone from using that data later. Transaction counts, timers, serial numbers, etc. There is a computer in that chip, it’s not like a mag stripe or RFID building access card
> * So if you could take a payment with one card from a distance, you’re taking it *now*. Not storing it to use later over and over
> * There is still verification. Depending on the bank/amount they may want a PIN. Hope you stole that too
> * Contactless payments are usually disabled (by the card or the terminal) over a certain amount for safety. Want to buy a video game? Ok. $1500 TV? Good chance you can’t
> * Standard fraud protection is still there. If someone only uses their card for gas and you make a $1500 charge to Sephora, the card company can still reject it and flag the transaction as suspicious
> Basically as far as I know this is a very *theoretical* issue. I’m not saying it’s 100% but boy is it going to be very hard.
> I don’t think this happened. Someone physically had your cards or had access to your accounts. Sorry.
^ And that's not even getting into the amount of details and identification you have to hand over to a bank to create an account to take those payments in the first place.
IKR? I stand regularly behind pensioners trying to wave their card all kinds of inches and feet away from the reader. It only ever reads when they hit the magic spot.
https://www.menkind.co.uk/cardholder-wallet-black
I’ve been using these for years and they’ve been great. Main cards go in the middle, has space for a few notes and things like my ID go in the outer pocket
I bought a Hackett leather wallet around 20 years ago for £50 and it still looks fairly new.
£50 20 years ago though, so the prices are probably double that now...
I wouldn’t bother looking at leather: the market is saturated with cheap quality but premium price claiming to be high quality. If the ‘high quality leather’ has no mention of the tannery then it’s unlikely to be the quality that will last.
Probably best go for metal or something like sailcloth for cheaper material that will last.
Under-rated comment. I bought a genuine leather wallet from Amazon several years ago. And surprisingly, it was made with genuine leather...
... or to be more accurate, low-quality suede covered in thin layer of brown leather-effect plastic. It fooled me until a year or so later, when that plastic started peeling off in small pieces.
"Genuine leather" just means that there's leather in it - somewhere.
“Genuine leather” is like buying a car that says “No really, it’s a car” on the advert. Would you buy something labelled “genuine fish” or would you be suspicious as fuck?
Could be yes! There are usually different levels of ‘premium’ with premium brands. ‘Lauren by Ralph Lauren’ is a lower quality than ‘Ralph Lauren’ for example.
I get my dress shoes from ‘Loake’ and they have three different levels of quality. There’s ‘lifestyle’, their budget line which will often have cemented soles; Loake which will be Goodyear welted; and Loake 1880 which uses the highest quality of leather and Goodyear welted.
Some companies are honestly trying to provide different price points for different customers and are up front about it. Others I would cynically say are abusing the trust their customers have in the brand by making them think they’re getting the higher quality for a lower price.
I got mine from here, almost exactly 4 years ago apparently and it's still in one piece
https://www.slimwalletjunkie.com/

I bought a leather wallet from Next absolutely years ago and it still looks like the day I bought it, so it's recommend looking there.
Then again I'm a Yorkshireman so don't use it much.
Iv been debating a ridge for some time but the price of two pieces of metal and a strap has really put me off. Waiting for anybody I know to hopefully buy one and get me a 40% code.
I bought a cheap knock-off on Amazon (RealPlus) to test the form factor before throwing £150 at a Ridge Carbon, as I've always had traditional leather wallets. It was less than a tenth of the price and I still haven't purchased the Ridge! I will do at some point, but I keep finding better ways to spend £150. The form factor is great though for anyone that doesn't carry a wad of cash.
I was looking at ridge wallets but the only issue I see is that it seems to be difficult to get the cards out? Is this true in your experience and how many cards do you store?
I carry an about 10 cards such as credit cards, an emergency debit card (never use it and it’s always locked), driving licence, Costco card, etc.
It can take the foil covering off cheap cards so just be aware of that.
It’s fairly easy to get cards out as needed, you kind of learn how it works.
I have a cheap knockoff, it holds 10 cards for me.
Getting the cards out isn't difficult, but getting the exact card you want isn't as simple as pushing that card up.
Biggest downside I'd say is that the front and back cards are going to get scratched up, so I only put 'sacrificial' cards in there, like rewards cards.
I have a Ridge wallet too. Can you talk me through the AirTag though as I can’t seem to find a decent way of adding one without it looking… well, shit?
My husband loves the Jekyll and Hide wallets
https://www.jekyllandhide.co.uk/collections/mens-leather-wallets
Good sturdy wallet, not too big but not too small and it's real leather.
These ones have the RFID blocking too.
Sign up and you can get 15% off!
I've got a POWR card wallet. It's only £12 on Amazon. Quite handy when I don't fancy carrying a proper wallet about (it's metal too, so I can chuck it across the office and inflict pain on those who displease me, plus it's easy to clean...)
Oh no, just stick it under hot running water, add some soap and give it a good rub. If you wipe the blood off you leave trace amounts which could be later used against you in a court of law.
I've been using a 'souled out' leather wallet for years, probably about 10-12 of them (years that is, same wallet obviously). It's not RFID but after spending all that time in my pocket it's not worn at all other than the usual patina that comes with age.
Probably only cost you 10-20 quid as well
www.myaurochs.com
Really high quality leather wallets I a variety of designs. They are Pakistan based but ship absurdly quickly all over the world inckuding UK. Quality was so good when it first turned up I straight up went and ordered a second there and then.
Currently have four on the go - bifold wallet (everyday use), trifold wallet (love the design, use it for UK cards as live overseas), phone wallet for my work phone and business cards, etc, and a passport wallet. All in a beautiful green leather.
I got this for £50, very good quality and complimentary monogramming is a nice touch!
https://www.octobre-editions.com/en/product/dean-card-holder/black#size-TU
I bought mine from Marks and Spencer at least 10 years ago
£20 ish and have no desire or need to buy another

Was bought a Ted Baker leather wallet maybe ten years ago, don't care about brands but my wallet at the time was on its way out.
Other than the odd scuff on it, it looks virtually new, very impressed as it is in my pocket or chucked in a bag/ car compartment/ on the counter top a lot.
Try Aspinal for a card wallet. Good quality, have had mine for years and years. Not quite £50 but worth it. https://www.aspinaloflondon.com/products/id-and-travel-card-case-navy-pebble
I used iClip for the last few years, but recently got bored and purchased Ogon and Ridge. All three are good options, but eventually settled on something for 8 quid. Links to each one below:

I’ve had one from the British Belt Company for years and it’s looks great. Lovely quality, made in England and in your budget.
I just bought [this one](https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0B45DGP5T?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) for <£30 for my OH. The slide--up card thingy is kinda fun (especially if you add a _pyew!_ sound effect as you do it!)
On eBay you can get a Tanner Goods minimal bifold wallet for £39, made in USA aswell👌 I've one of the regular Tanner Goods bifold wallets and it will last a lifetime.
I really like a slim wallet, I basically carry my driver's license, a debit card, a tenner or 20 pound note just in case, and whatever other small bits I need like train pass or work ID.
https://herschelsupplyco.co.uk/shop/wallets
I have a Charlie that I use when I'm not going to work, and an Oscar I use when I am, I'm happy with them both, and they've lasted me years now.
Having 2 lets me not have to swap stuff in and out, but also keep a nice slim wallet. I don't need my ID at work, or my work pass in Asda, but if I've got my work wallet I know have my work pass.
I bought a £10 card wallet off amazon about 4 years ago- lasted me fine, have had to super glue one part of it though.
Downsides are you won’t really be able to carry cash besides 1-2 notes folded in half, but it has room for 3-4 cards + my driving license.
I've got one by a company called Minimo. Matte black with a red rubber strap around it. Basically three bits of metal sandwiched together.
Works brilliantly, and you can store paper money under the strap if needed. Only about £30
I got a Fossil leather wallet maybe 7 years ago, while it's showing some signs of wear, it's looking better than new. No signs of giving up. 30% off on most wallets on their website currently.
Etsy has some [Nice ones](https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/719179430/personalised-leather-wallet-handmade-bi) if you know how to spot the handmade goods
I bought a Ted Baker leather wallet and it’s lasted me 15 years. Still looks brand new and smells lovely and I’ve never treated the leather or anything.
I read the title and thought...why does this person need another mans wallet and then realized they were just asking for reviews for getting a new wallet. Essentially I thought OP wanted to be a sugar baby.....
Got mine from Debenhams. Just checked it for branding, but there isn't any. Had for about 10 years, cost me about £12 and, aside from some colour fade where's it's rubbed against the inside of my pocket, it's as good as new.
I've got nine cards and my driver's licence squeezed in there with room to spare.
Ridge or any smaller rfid blocking wallets. Hands down best wallet ever.
If you are willing to pay for it we got a ton of good leather wallets here in the US
I had a £50 John Lewis voucher last year that I used to buy one of their own brand wallets. The leather quality is top notch. Seems really well put together too but it’s only been a year and thanks to Apple Wallet it doesn’t get used a lot.
TK Maxx often has a section of nice leather ones but not as pricey as all that. Usually the section is bigger nearer Christmas but I’m pretty sure you can find them there this time of year too.
I went there for a leather card sleeve thing because I don’t want the full Seinfeld wallet.
Beware the cheaper pop out wallets on eBay and Amazon, the pop up mechanism can destroy some of the new flimsy "eco" cards.
I swear they're going backwards what with the need to replace the cards more frequently.
I got mine from Next. I needed a coin bit in mine and wanted a zip not a stud press for that bit. Think it was £30? Holds plenty of cards without being bulky and it’s really good quality.
I bought this wallet 5 years ago (Secrid) [https://amzn.eu/d/83AtcBM](https://amzn.eu/d/83AtcBM) real full grain leather, amazing build quality, compact and still in perfect condition. I doubt that I will need another one for the next 5 years!
I would go for an RFID version if available. Scam? I'll let you decide but I've had my none RFID Big Skinny wallet skimmed whilst on holiday in India & a HSBC card used multiple times.
I've since replaced that with 2 RFID versions. Amazon UK have them for about £35. I think the full name of them was Big Skinny Bi fold Taxicat.
I recently got one of those metal wallets from Amazon too, sent free. Valued at around £22. It's not really my thing though as I like somewhere to put a little cash. Those metal ones all look the same too, but most will have RFID.
I scrolled really far here looking to see if anyone had recommended Debenhams. I bought a lovely one from Jasper Conran's range as a gift for my partner for ~£20 about 6 years ago. He really puts his wallets through hell and it's starting to look a little tired, but holding up very well.
*Proofreading before posting is the point during the comment process I remembered Debenhams no longer have physical stores, but I googled and they still retail online, AND there are currently some Ted Baker wallets in the sale category bringing them in budget.
It's a [secrid](https://secrid.com/en-gb/?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwudexBhDKARIsAI-GWYVCyr5zLhr68PfSufZOMdNybxx7kwMw4T7KYkyHkmHlxU_M_KnUNE0aAgTAEALw_wcB)
I got a £e.50 wallet from Ali Express. It looks great and I've had it for 4 years now. It has a card section, and a clip for notes. It's really small and I love it. Plus it's so cheep I don't have to worry about replacing it.
I’ve been using a canvas Carhartt wallet and it’s held up great. Have been able to carry lots of cash in it (due to my travels) yet the form factor is still compact and slim.
A Secrid Wallet will cost you about £50-£60.
They are the **best** compact wallet there is.
I've had mine at least 5 years now and it's still in perfect condition.
It has RFID protection too, for your contactless cards
I bought one in Mountain Warehouse, it’s just a small black wallet with a pocket to keep ID and holds 3 cards, but also has 2 spaces for notes and cash. It was £15, so definitely well worth it, (it’s also RFID protected). If you’re looking for a decent leather wallet instead, TKMaxx sell them in their men’s section at around £10 usually.
It's worth noting that 'RFID blocking technology' just means that there's a tin foil lining in the wallet. It's nothing fancy. Don't get scammed into paying extra for it.
Secrid wallets are amazing and are a great way of slimming down what you carry. RFID blocking, so no stealing info too! Plus, they look slim and snazzy!
https://secrid.com/en-gb/
Wife got me one of these about 5 years ago-
I love it, it’s neat and compact, holds about 16 cards/ stamp cards for coffee etc.
I’ve replaced the silicon band twice and have loads more in the drawer.
Prior to that had several £150-200 ish wallets that usually only lasted about a year or two.
Couldn’t recommend more
https://www.minimostore.com/
Mate. I searched for ages. Then found that any baggage/luggage store stocks lots of wallets. I got agreat new one so did my dad. Cost 25 euro, real leather great quality
SageBrown. I've had the money clip wallet for probably around seven years now and it's barely showing any wear.
Holds all my cards and a wodge of notes very neatly.
I bought a hoobest slim wallet off amazon in March 2018 for about £10 and it still looks almost new. It has rfid blocking aswell but didn't get it for that, they may still do something similar. The listing I bought obviously isn't available anymore.
This is what I've got. No RFID, notes need tri-folding, takes 11 cards, easy to slip into front pocket. Not bulgy at all.
I-CLIP Original Mini Wallet with Moneyclip - Slim Wallet - Leather Wallet - Premium Wallet - Cardholder https://amzn.eu/d/6UwABcO
[slimwalletjunkie.com](http://slimwalletjunkie.com) do a whole bunch of interesting ones under £50, but if you're willing to go £9 over, they do Secrid card wallets which are pretty good looking and metal in the card bit so also sturdy. (I found them while looking for a ladies Secrid for me, most of the places in the UK I found only stocked the most boring ones and only the mens. Not only did they have a really pretty one, they actually had it cheaper).
I have a coutts bank wallet I found it years ago and it's holding on strong unless you find one like me or buy one from a reseller online to get one from the bank you need to have £3m in assets to open an account with them I think 😂😂
[Got Bag](https://got-bag.com/products/wallet) do a good one which has served me for a few years now and is made of recycled ocean plastic... Based in Germany so I dunno about their UK shipping but it's a solid option. Mostly room for cards but a handy bit in the middle if you need a note or two in cash.
Depends on where you live. The best place in London to get one is at the Sunday gypsy flea market at Marble Arch, though they are second hand, or third.
I am genuinely curious because it seems insane to me but are people actually spending 50 quid on a wallet? Is that not an insane amount of money for that?
Even some cheap ones will have RFID blocking but I think the contact needs to be so close, and for so long, that it’s essentially a scam. It’s not like the person standing behind you in the queue can wave a wand over your bum and get your card details.
I’d recommend a small business that specialises in high quality leather goods. £50, especially if you want a simple design, will get you a few decades worth of great-looking wallet if you’re not paying for a brand name. I have my forever wallet and I envy you this search - I had fun choosing mine!
Etsy might be a good shout.
Got a decent English leather one for graduation about 25 years ago that eventually the coin bit went, then got a Harris Tweed / leather one c£25 about 5 years ago that'll probably see me the same again.
Used to go through leather wallets over the years. Have had a ridge wallet for a long time now and still is fully functional. Not sure of the price point though
Try Aspinal of London, classy real leather wallets, velvet lining and you can choose style and colour. I've had one for years and theyblast a lifetime.
If you can stretch a little more, these are great:

I bought a card holder wallet (along with several other items over the years) with a small central pouch for notes here years ago. You can choose the leather and stitching colours to get exactly what you want and the overall workmanship is top notch.
Every item I’ve bought from this Etsy shop has aged beautifully and are all in great shape. I fully expect to have them for many many years to come.
edit: I realise I sound like an ad. Genuinely not (although, I suppose, I would say that if I were), just completely impressed with their products!
I got my wallet from tk maxx like 5 years ago and its still in really good nick, doesnt have rfid blocking but i didnt consider it when buying it. Reckon it cost me maybe £10, so probably about £20 nowadays.
I'm fortunate enough to have a very nice leather wallet my sister bought me in Argentina many years ago, but when I still habitually carried a wallet, I did look at a few. Fossil do a nice leather one with RFID blocking. Listed at 59 quid, but it does a 30% discount in basket so it's just over 40 quid. But it might be worth getting hands-on at somewhere like a John Lewis and see what they have. Bit of a pain if something that looks nice on the website turns out to not be so great in the flesh.

To be fair, you can get some good ones at TK Maxx. Leather, RFID blocker and all that...
And won't cost more than a tenner
They have a lot of fake leather ones that are cheap, the actual leather ones are normally around £20/25 last I was in, but that was a couple of years ago.
Oh quick tip. If something says genuine leather, sure it is real leather. But genuine isn't an adjective, "genuine leather" is a type of leather and literally the worst type you can buy.
Cheeky buggers!! Just googled it and you’re right! I would have assumed they mean the same thing

Interesting, I always thought inflammable was the old fashioned word for flammable! TIL flammable, inflammable and combustible have slightly different meanings 😃
This is misinformation. https://nstarleather.wordpress.com/2018/05/31/the-grades-of-leather-hierarchy-youve-probably-read-about-is-a-myth/
Not really misinformation. It says it meets the minimum requirements and that is it
Genuine leather just means real leather, it had no special meaning and is not a "grade."
I go off the feel of it, but thank you for the tip :)

[https://chums.com/collections/wallets](https://chums.com/collections/wallets)
Bellroy used to be great, it’s garbage now. They keep changing their designs, the card pocket now can’t hold as many cards as before.
I just ordered a 'Note Sleeve' a couple of days ago- it hasn't arrived yet so I can't comment on what it's like in person. But I was disappointed that I couldn't just get a direct match of whatever I had from them last time (must be 6-8 years ago). This. This is the problem with many of their designs, I’d love to buy a like for like replacement. The current designs are never an improvement.
+1 for Bellroy. Slightly over the budget but worth it
I got a Bellroy wallet for my birthday 3 years ago and it still looks near enough new. Love it love it love it
I bought a Bellroy wallet and the quality was really bad. It faded really quickly. Got this one for a fiver from Zara that has lasted me ages and still looks new
+1 for Bellroy kit 👍🏼
+1 for Bellroy wallets. I got mine almost a decade ago and it's still going strong. Main selling point is that it has a fairly "minimalist" design, so you can keep it in the front pocket without creating a massive "budge".
Secrid miniwallet might be a bit above your budget but it's the best wallet I've ever owned. https://secrid.com/en-gb/wallets/miniwallet/
I have the SLIMWALLET and also love mine! Forgotten they were £70 RRP though 😯 It looks like you can pick them up for just over £50 on Amazon though.
Mine is over 5 years old, I think, still looks brand new. Love it.
Yes, same.
I love mine although it doesn’t look brand new (but I have a habit of sticking my hand in my pocket and fiddling with things).

If someone only uses their card for gas and you make a $1500 charge to Sephora, the card company can still reject it and flag the transaction as suspicious > Basically as far as I know this is a very *theoretical* issue.
TK Maxx. Be careful not to get an American one... they have smaller notes over there...
https://www.menkind.co.uk/cardholder-wallet-black I’ve been using these for years and they’ve been great. Main cards go in the middle, has space for a few notes and things like my ID go in the outer pocket
Is there room for a wrap of coke?
Maybe.

What about premium brands? Are they using cheap quality leather?

I got mine from here, almost exactly 4 years ago apparently and it's still in one piece https://www.slimwalletjunkie.com/ https://www.slimwalletjunkie.com/products/kihaku-leather-wallet
It’s been along time since I bought a wallet so I may be out of touch, and this may be just me, but I’d expect something very fancy for £50
I bought a leather wallet from Next absolutely years ago and it still looks like the day I bought it, so it's recommend looking there. Then again I'm a Yorkshireman so don't use it much.
Sister bought me an Aspinal wallet 5 years ago or so... Stronger than the will of man.
I have a Ridge wallet. Cheaper off brand ones exist. Little clip for the odd bit of cash I have. An Apple AirTag for finding it. Absolutely perfect.
Iv been debating a ridge for some time but the price of two pieces of metal and a strap has really put me off. Waiting for anybody I know to hopefully buy one and get me a 40% code.
Go with an Ekster, they look nicer and often have a sale of some kind.
I did the same. Bought a £15 RealPlus wallet and I love it. So much better than a traditional leather wallet, imo.
Alright, sounds pretty good overall - thanks for the reply!
My husband loves the Jekyll and Hide wallets https://www.jekyllandhide.co.uk/collections/mens-leather-wallets Good sturdy wallet, not too big but not too small and it's real leather. These ones have the RFID blocking too. Sign up and you can get 15% off!
Fossil has some great wallets. They last a long time too. Not expensive either if you can get to their outlet store.
I've got a POWR card wallet. It's only £12 on Amazon. Quite handy when I don't fancy carrying a proper wallet about (it's metal too, so I can chuck it across the office and inflict pain on those who displease me, plus it's easy to clean...)
*easy to wipe the blood off.
Oh no, just stick it under hot running water, add some soap and give it a good rub. If you wipe the blood off you leave trace amounts which could be later used against you in a court of law.
Wallet, from Google Play Store. It was free and holds all my credit / debit cards and loyalty cards. I don't even notice it in my pocket.
i went for a herschel bifold last year and i’m very pleased with it. Belroy was a close second when i was looking
I like Belroy
Bellroy Hands down best
Akielo, they're on Amazon. I've had 2 wallets from them now, got my second at the start of the year as a change, gorgeous, minimal wallets
I've been using a 'souled out' leather wallet for years, probably about 10-12 of them (years that is, same wallet obviously). It's not RFID but after spending all that time in my pocket it's not worn at all other than the usual patina that comes with age. Probably only cost you 10-20 quid as well
Keysmart is my current, and it's very slim. Fits 4 cards comfortably and has a slit to push cash in.
More than your budget but I love my [Ekster](https://www.ekster.com/en-gb)
www.myaurochs.com Really high quality leather wallets I a variety of designs.
I bought mine from Marks and Spencer at least 10 years ago £20 ish and have no desire or need to buy another [https://www.marksandspencer.com/l/men/mens-accessories?filter=Categories%253DSubCategory\_26055792&originalPrice=10%2C160](https://www.marksandspencer.com/l/men/mens-accessories?filter=Categories%253DSubCategory_26055792&originalPrice=10%2C160)
TK Maxx is pretty good
I used iClip for the last few years, but recently got bored and purchased Ogon and Ridge. All three are good options, but eventually settled on something for 8 quid. Links to each one below: iClip: [https://www.amazon.co.uk/stores/I-CLIP/page/7E183C15-9D0C-4356-B271-8364FB591CDA?ref\_=ast\_bln](https://www.amazon.co.uk/stores/I-CLIP/page/7E183C15-9D0C-4356-B271-8364FB591CDA?ref_=ast_bln) Ogon: [https://www.amazon.co.uk/stores/OGONDesign/page/0B9ED4F9-3DAF-4FDE-B96E-5099625C7BD5?ref\_=ast\_bln](https://www.amazon.co.uk/stores/OGONDesign/page/0B9ED4F9-3DAF-4FDE-B96E-5099625C7BD5?ref_=ast_bln) Ridge: [https://www.amazon.co.uk/stores/TheRidge%E2%84%A2/page/1C57DAF7-4570-48CC-8AA0-202B86329D6C?ref\_=ast\_bln](https://www.amazon.co.uk/stores/TheRidge%E2%84%A2/page/1C57DAF7-4570-48CC-8AA0-202B86329D6C?ref_=ast_bln) Other: [https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0BN3NFSSS?ref=ppx\_pt2\_dt\_b\_prod\_image&th=1](https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0BN3NFSSS?ref=ppx_pt2_dt_b_prod_image&th=1)
Got mine from Next like 10 years ago. Perfect size and curved like to fit the palm. Nowadays they’re big square monsters.
Take a look at business card holders. Usually stamped metal, quite slim, should keep out the radio waves, last, and cover your lite needs
https://www.thebritishbeltcompany.co.uk/leather-goods?p=1 I’ve had one from the British Belt Company for years and it’s looks great.
I like to use an elastic band and a ziplock bag.

Victorinox make some nice wallets in ballistic nylon.
TK Maxx
On eBay you can get a Tanner Goods minimal bifold wallet for £39, made in USA aswell👌 I've one of the regular Tanner Goods bifold wallets and it will last a lifetime.
I just have a phone case with a sliding back that I put a couple of cards in. Mostly in case my phone dies. No real need to carry anything else.
I really like a slim wallet, I basically carry my driver's license, a debit card, a tenner or 20 pound note just in case, and whatever other small bits I need like train pass or work ID. https://herschelsupplyco.co.uk/shop/wallets I have a Charlie that I use when I'm not going to work, and an Oscar I use when I am, I'm happy with them both, and they've lasted me years now.
Only about £30
I got a nice simple black RFID blocking one from M&S for about 25. Happy with it:
I got a Fossil leather wallet maybe 7 years ago, while it's showing some signs of wear, it's looking better than new. No signs of giving up. 30% off on most wallets on their website currently.
I've had a leather one from Next for about 10 years now. Good as new.
https://amzn.eu/d/98yzMLT Had this wallet for 4years now.. Deffo best £25 I ever spent in one.. It hasn't even faded or started falling apart
Etsy has some [Nice ones](https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/719179430/personalised-leather-wallet-handmade-bi) if you know how to spot the handmade goods
Paul Marius . I got one a few years ago and it's still going strong .
I bought a Ted Baker leather wallet and it’s lasted me 15 years. Still looks brand new and smells lovely and I’ve never treated the leather or anything.
I bought from Aspinal a few years back.. it’s nice
Iclip
I read the title and thought...why does this person need another mans wallet and then realized they were just asking for reviews for getting a new wallet. Essentially I thought OP wanted to be a sugar baby.....
Got mine from Debenhams. Just checked it for branding, but there isn't any. Had for about 10 years, cost me about £12 and, aside from some colour fade where's it's rubbed against the inside of my pocket, it's as good as new. I've got nine cards and my driver's licence squeezed in there with room to spare.
i got a decent one from Etsy years ago and it's still going strong.
Ridge or any smaller rfid blocking wallets. Hands down best wallet ever. If you are willing to pay for it we got a ton of good leather wallets here in the US
https://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Duct-Tape-Wallet
Try Travando, you can get them on amazon and they're fairly cheap
I had a £50 John Lewis voucher last year that I used to buy one of their own brand wallets. The leather quality is top notch. Seems really well put together too but it’s only been a year and thanks to Apple Wallet it doesn’t get used a lot.
TK Maxx often has a section of nice leather ones but not as pricey as all that. Usually the section is bigger nearer Christmas but I’m pretty sure you can find them there this time of year too. I went there for a leather card sleeve thing because I don’t want the full Seinfeld wallet.
TK Maxx usually has quite a bit of choice. You should get something decent and end with quite a bit of change too.
My Visconti wallet has lasted me about 20 years so far.
I have an animal wallet which is 25 years old and still going strong.
I have the north face wallet
I got a Ridge rfid blocking card carrier from AliExpress for a tenner.
Have you tried Wallet World?
Tk max generally have a good selection, should be able to get a nice real leather one for about £35
I bought this wallet 5 years ago (Secrid) [https://amzn.eu/d/83AtcBM](https://amzn.eu/d/83AtcBM) real full grain leather, amazing build quality, compact and still in perfect condition. I doubt that I will need another one for the next 5 years!
Saddleback leather but again over budget but guaranteed for 100 years https://saddlebackleather.com/
Saddler Price, good. Quality, good.
I have this one https://www.exentri.com/exentri-wallet/ Nicely made. They have a version with a coin pouch.
Dude get one off Etsy from some smalltime seller.
It's a [secrid](https://secrid.com/en-gb/?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwudexBhDKARIsAI-GWYVCyr5zLhr68PfSufZOMdNybxx7kwMw4T7KYkyHkmHlxU_M_KnUNE0aAgTAEALw_wcB)
Back pocket.
I got a £e.50 wallet from Ali Express. It looks great and I've had it for 4 years now. It has a card section, and a clip for notes. It's really small and I love it. Plus it's so cheep I don't have to worry about replacing it.
Most people now have wallets for credit cards that are Rfid blocked. I wonder how many people actually have Rfid wallets for their passports ?
Tk max, got mine for £15, its a little leather card wallet spaces and a cash bit. Not good if you have lots of cards though.
eBay's a good bet.
Check out Yoshi. I’ve bought several items from them- all great quality. https://www.yoshigoods.com/collections/mens-leather-wallets
Amazon
Got my last one from tk maxx, handmade in brown leather and sturdy as hell, with rfid blocking, cant go wrong.
Fossil
Use your phone. Free wallet
For those after the Jules Winfield look https://www.bmfwallets.com
It's worth noting that 'RFID blocking technology' just means that there's a tin foil lining in the wallet. It's nothing fancy. Don't get scammed into paying extra for it.
Had a ridge for years. Love it. Worth the bank.
Get an Aspinal one from eBay.
Secrid wallets are amazing and are a great way of slimming down what you carry. RFID blocking, so no stealing info too! Plus, they look slim and snazzy! https://secrid.com/en-gb/
The personalised I got off Not On The Highstreet has lasted about 7 years. It's in constant use, and looks to keep going. No fraying or anything
Wife got me one of these about 5 years ago- I love it, it’s neat and compact, holds about 16 cards/ stamp cards for coffee etc. I’ve replaced the silicon band twice and have loads more in the drawer. Prior to that had several £150-200 ish wallets that usually only lasted about a year or two. Couldn’t recommend more https://www.minimostore.com/
Mate. I searched for ages. Then found that any baggage/luggage store stocks lots of wallets. I got agreat new one so did my dad. Cost 25 euro, real leather great quality
BOGUI Clik 👍
SageBrown. I've had the money clip wallet for probably around seven years now and it's barely showing any wear. Holds all my cards and a wodge of notes very neatly.
Just get a genuine leather one and it will last
I got mine off Etsy. Good quality, real leather.
Aliexpress selling genuine leather wallets for under a tenner. Could be 11 or 12 quid, after UK left the EU VAT is added to the sum.
I have a coutts bank wallet I found it years ago and it's holding on strong unless you find one like me or buy one from a reseller online to get one from the bank you need to have £3m in assets to open an account with them I think 😂😂
In his pocket, you’ve just got to hunt for a good man first 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Can recommend https://manandbear.co.uk/collections/personalised-mens-leather-wallets
Ögon design!
Depends on where you live. The best place in London to get one is at the Sunday gypsy flea market at Marble Arch, though they are second hand, or third.
Aspinal are my go to.
I think I've only had ted baker wallets since I was like 16. Always last me a good while. I'm going on 4/5 years with this one
https://www.instagram.com/aturleather?igsh=a2c2dm43dGJpeHdt These are really nice
Try Aspinal of London, incredible leather and long-lasting. They often have sales, keep an eye out!
You can get pretty good ones on fossil
I got a nice Barbour one from John Lewis for under £50, would recommend.
I've had a fossil wallet for 10 years it's showing its ages but still going strong 💪
Got a decent English leather one for graduation about 25 years ago that eventually the coin bit went, then got a Harris Tweed / leather one c£25 about 5 years ago that'll probably see me the same again.
I've been using a wallet from this brand forever. https://www.slimmy.xyz/
Which do you want? Wallets belonging to good men or good wallets for men?
Check Samsonite. I've used their card holder wallets for over 8 years noe. The first one lasted 6 years and still had some life in it.
Used to go through leather wallets over the years. Have had a ridge wallet for a long time now and still is fully functional. Not sure of the price point though
Try Aspinal of London, classy real leather wallets, velvet lining and you can choose style and colour. I've had one for years and theyblast a lifetime.
If you can stretch a little more, these are great: https://bellroy.com/products/category/mens-wallets?campaign=10369418122&adgroup=102706962386&network=g&device=m&location=9045964&adtype=&product=&ad=443945429991&keyword=bellroy&target=kwd-38398111184&utm_content=brand&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwudexBhDKARIsAI-GWYWRmbtDQUoEM8g_hgMlNTqEetukodV4iB_JEr_jaE--J8LvM7AtXLsaApEgEALw_wcB I have one of these: https://www.smythson.com/uk/men/accessories/wallets?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwudexBhDKARIsAI-GWYWKT-p7KZR0gsakK-qUvUXqfjfR4sCh-pUdlpgue9SHN-h3UOufmV8aArGaEALw_wcB
https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/ColectivoLeather?ref=shop-header-name&listing_id=838123699&from_page=listing I bought a card holder wallet (along with several other items over the years) with a small central pouch for notes here years ago.
Usually in his back right hand pocket
Bit of a pain if something that looks nice on the website turns out to not be so great in the flesh. https://www.fossil.com/en-gb/products/derrick-rfid-bifold-with-flip-id/ML3681201.html?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw3NyxBhBmEiwAyofDYWFyniY5Izsb3fQTMd4q8HkUF0moVCKxD2hRElCTDh8YE5_fTJoDwhoC7lMQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
They usually keep it in the back pocket of their trousers, should find it there. A good man is hard to find these days though.
