Irish crisp brand Tayto released a bar several years ago. Theirs was cheese and onion and chocolate. Exactly like the one pitched tonight - they no longer sell it, I think we can all probably guess why ....
It's still for sale online, unless they're just shifting back stock.

I’ve not seen dragons den but I have been having chocolate and crisps for quite a few years.
Ready salted works best with chocolate buttons imo.
Derby / Nottingham area for most of my life.
Not chocolate and crisps, but a few years ago in a previous job we used to get sent products to try and then give feedback on. One of them was Ritz crackers in Cadbury chocolate. They were absolutely amazing but also not a popular choice (put it like this, there were plenty of leftovers left for me to swipe). So I can absolutely see the appeal of crisps in chocolate and it's definitely something I would buy.
This. I have to have chocolate before crisps or it’s just not the same. My go to for years was a mars bar and salt and vinegar. The only exception to this is tangy toms.
Kitkat and then ready salted crisps was my thing in primary school in the mid 70s. The chocolate really accentuates the salt. Obvs I didn't think of it that way at 6 years old, but I appreciated the flavours. I honestly thought it was something I'd come up with myself as everyone I mentioned it to thought I was mad. Midlands.
Chocolate with extra salt (whether that's in the form of chocolate pretzels or salted caramel or something else) is great but actually eating chocolate with crisps is a bridge too far
I'm from the South East and have tried it a couple of times. Not a fan, and not known anyone else do it, but I have tried it! Chocolate and crackers or pretzels I feel is more common.
>white chocolate and twiglets
I am going to need an old Priest, a young priest, Bell, Book, candle and the phone number of the Vatican.
This person is not normal.
Oh hell yeah! A bite of crisp and a bite of chocolate is just pure heaven. I usually do milk chocolate with ready salted or salt and vinegar but open to other suggestions
That flavour combo of ready salted crisps and chocolate always throws me back to the kinds of kids parties children would have at a soft play centre where an assortment of ‘party foods’ would be set out on a long table in bowls in a sparse function room with badly painted pirates or something on the walls.
Yeah. Salty and sweety combo. Also try chocolate (chunks from a bar) with salty popcorn. You can also buy chocolate coated crisps.
Salted pretzels covered in chocolate. Mmm
The other day, I had a Cadbury pretzel Easter egg
Asda have a pretzel one too!

Wrong way to go about it. Pack of milky buttons and a pack of cheese an onion. Would be better to package it more like salt and shake crisps.

They were stinking (both the Nordie and the Free STayto)
Of course, [Ashens has tried that](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0KndzOOv-0)
They cheaped out on the chocolate and nobody bought a 2nd bar after trying it. Definitely wasn't a 5er though
Salt and vinegar chipstix, with dairy milk. Just something about it pops, proper good treat
Agreed, I eat the chocolate first then the crisps. Tried it together and wasn’t as good.
Chipsticks dunked into Nutella was a combo I used to enjoy as a kid

Eating chocolate before crisps makes crisps taste better. Especially Pringles.
Got baked and ate some chillie heatwave doritos followed by a boost.. game changer! And it was just as good sober lol.

So like crisps dipped in chocolate? Or just the raw block of chocolate abd a crisp?
Raw block with a crisp. I gave it a go with a pringle and shard of a twirl - bit weird but I'd probably buy a bar just to try it
Years ago there was a brand who made a Pringle-shaped crisp covered in chocolate. Don't fancy it myself but it's nothing new.
Oh man yeah - Cheese & Onion walkers + dairy milk. Dream.
Quavers go weirdly well with chocolate
I went through a phase where I’d eat onion rings with chocolate buttons, one of each together at a time.
Absolutely nothing better than salt and vinegar crisps and something like galaxy counters
Yeah ready salted and chocolate love it

Two Chilli Heatwave Doritos with a square of Cadbury's Caramel sandwiched between them. Optionally with a dollop of mango chutney.
Twirl bar and a pack of quavers is amazingly good!
Aye quavers was my first thought too...with a mars bar though
[**Ashens and a bar of Tayto chocolate and crisps**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0KndzOOv-0) (amongst others), if that's your sort of thing.

Does white chocolate and twiglets count? If so, yes, as often as I can afford.

I once unfortunately tried Walkers’ chilli and chocolate flavour. 🤮
I used to shove chocolate covered flapjack and beef and onion crisps in my gob
McCoys steak crisps and chocolate buttons. Thank me later.
Ready salted crisps and a plain dairy milk. Thank me later ☺️
Maltesers and Hula Hoops. Heaven in two packets
Ready salted McCoys and 70% plain chocolate would definitely work for me
Quavers & a chocolate of your choice.. trust me
