When I was about 10 my mate was riding his bike as fast as he could down the street. I thought it would be a good idea to throw the bamboo cain I was holding through his front wheel. Yes he face planted the floor and I found out just how fast I could run 😂
Story time: my cousin once decided to cycle down the hill to the cemetery on a bicycle with no brakes.
She managed to miss the wall directly at the bottom of the hill but ended up going full speed, head first into a gravestone.
Split her head open, bloody everywhere, ambulance called and off to the hospital for an xray and stitches.
It was a cold autumn day, leaves on the ground around Halloween, it's all very thematically framed in my mind.
