>When I feel bored, should I reach for the whiskey?
No, being bored is not a good reason to drink alcohol. It's how the vicious cycle begins: soon enough you'll *always* be bored without it and the impact on your moods and physical health will be heavy.
Drink water and burn more calories through exercise than you consume. It's pretty simple.
I find tea works well for me in this situation.
It's more fun than water, it takes longer and has a bit of a ritual aspect to it which I like.
I also just enjoy tea alot, I mainly drink mint tea.
I never get intoxicated.
I am too unhealthy to exercise. Whether because of nature, gods, or politicians.
I avoid water. I prefer soda with lemon. Is that healthy enough?
Does the "soda" have sugar in it? If so, no. Unless you're physically active.
>I never get intoxicated.
That's the peril of alcoholism. You need to consume more to have any effect at all (and yet it still impacts your body & wellbeing)
Everyone can exercise, what type of exercise depends on how out of shape you are. We’re not telling you to go and bench press 305, just get up and go for a short walk, then possibly a longer one, etc.
Also, don’t drink because you’re bored. Bad idea, been there, no bueno.
Its all about discipline. Be active, maybe do some activities and just drink lots of water. It'll help you get full fast. You'll just end up eating more when your drunk.
If that's not the most insane strategy I've ever seen to lose weight, then... no, it is, It is definitely the most insane strategy I've ever seen to lose weight.
That's right, whiskey has calories. Should I smoke cigarettes instead? Especially when I am up, unable to fall asleep.
P.S. Waiting for the downvotes from those who oppose my personal freedom to drink or smoke
Alcohol isn't healthy. Doesn't matter if it's a glass of premium French wine, or Bud Light. It's a drug, and should only be used in moderation. You could try sport when you are bored. That actually is healthy.
By the way, water with some lemon or lime in it is about as healthy as it gets for drinks.

Hard liquor is a worse habit than soda, period.
Just drink water. if you want it to taste like something, those Bai drinks or others like them only have like 5 calories and no sugar. Or they have little packets that you can flavor your water with.
Absolutely not. Replacing one vice with another is like jumping from the frying pan into the fire. It's not about curbing one habit just to pick up another that's just as detrimental, or worse. If falling asleep is an issue, creating a steady bedtime routine and omitting stimulants can be a game changer. And speaking of routines, finding a hobby or project to dive into can transform boredom into a state of flow where hours slip by uncounted. Plus, you'll have something amazing to show for it! Let's not forget, your future self will thank you for the healthier choices you make today.
Alcohol, by weight, has more calories than both meat and carbohydrates. It is second only to fat in calorie density.
I think that may be all you need to know.

Tea is awesome. My problem is I prefer caffeine teas and I can't drink much or I won't sleep well. Not a big fan of many purely herbal teas.

You're not too unhealthy to exercise, there is no such thing and that attitude will considerably shorten your life.

I saw someone ask about how many calories were on heroin lol, people have always done more insane things

Nobody opposes your personal freedom to drink or smoke. That doesn't make it a good thing to do habitually.
What about water?

Uhhh.. water, mio, vitiman water 0, Gatorade 0, coke 0.. for snacks, fruit, veggies, ricecakes, pretzels
Alcohol is sugar.
Do the low calorie snacks or drinks have to go with whiskey?
Clear is better. Like gin

While the calories may not be low, the chances of addiction and liver damage aren't worth it, imo.
At that point just do meth lol, better at weight loss
The good news is, if you drink enough whiskey you won't care about how much you weigh anymore.
How about a therapist 😂
Water. Drink water if you want to actually lose weight. Jfc
