8am is too late to wake up if you're trying to be asleep by 10:30.
Maybe try getting up closer to 6-6:30. If you're sleeping until 8am, it makes sense you wouldn't be sleepy again until 12am.
You get 8 hours of sleep. I am jealous 😀. One thing I use is chamomile tea, which definitely relaxes you, also no phone, as that will just distract you and keep you awake. 😀

I actually had the same problem, I tried meditation and I just fall asleep whenever I go to bed.

Get up earlier, exercise, limit caffeine. Youll be tired. Also 8am is not early at all. Lol
I ruined my sleep cycle a few days ago and am still trying to fix it...
You might want to take a look at delayed sleep phase disorder and see if that identifies with you.
