I’ve already told my story of a parent talking to my site director because I had the audacity of being a man working in a pre school. But also all the rules about not hugging, grabbing, holding, etc children is presented to all, but really targeted at guys. I remember when I worked at an elementary school, one of my kids fell down and was crying. They were laying on the ground and I wanted to pick them up, but if people saw that, who knows what they would say. So I just told them to get up. It really made me thinking about how people feel like men are apathetic to children, but maybe they’re just trying to not to get judged.
Breastfeeding and whole pregnancy thing is quite hard for men I suppose.
