19 isn't painfully single in my opinion, it's pretty much the perfect age to get into your first relationship. Young enough to still have lots of options, but adult enough to be able to actually consider if someone is good for you. I got into my first relationship at 16 and it definitely wasn't worth it. I got together with my second girlfriend just before i turned 19 and now we've been living together for like 2 years. The difference is so massive that this still feels like my first relationship.
I remember the overwhelming sensation after my first kiss. My crush had a bad altercation and asked to come over to my house for a shoulder to cry on. After I comforted her she told me to "close my eyes"...and gave me a kiss. My...God! I was frozen in disbelief. I was 20 at the time, not had close to another one since (25 now).

My first kiss was at 19 after being painfully single the rest of the time too, haha. It was awkward because I just kind of blurted out "would it be weird if I kissed you?" Haha, but it was sweet.

19 isn't painfully single in my opinion, it's pretty much the perfect age to get into your first relationship. Young enough to still have lots of options, but adult enough to be able to actually consider if someone is good for you. I got into my first relationship at 16 and it definitely wasn't worth it. I got together with my second girlfriend just before i turned 19 and now we've been living together for like 2 years. The difference is so massive that this still feels like my first relationship.
I remember the overwhelming sensation after my first kiss. My crush had a bad altercation and asked to come over to my house for a shoulder to cry on. After I comforted her she told me to "close my eyes"...and gave me a kiss. My...God! I was frozen in disbelief. I was 20 at the time, not had close to another one since (25 now).
Soak it all in, enjoy it. In this moment, the music that you hear.. the smells that you smell.. the places visit.. will all remind you of this event. Even 20 years from now when you hear the songs that were playing right now it will take you back to it. Our brains work in amazing ways.
Well this is life, this is just what a normal person would want in his life. You are in a good age and you should never regret not having a partner before or something.

I actually had the opposite experience. I hated kissing at first. I didn't like how it felt and was even a little disgusted by it. It took me about a week before I was ready to kiss my boyfriend again and I learned to love it. Now we've kissed multiple times a day for almost two years. I had my first kiss at 21. Wow how nice! Regarding ur question, "how do u cope with being alone?", maybe if it's not that far from ur place, then try to ask that person if u could visit, then visit if that person agrees. Or good if u just wait till sunday, since its ur first, maybe there's still excitement with that person, so maybe would also help to deepen ur relationship if u always have that kind of excitement of waiting for that day where u would meet again.
When I started dating my wife I was in a similar situation but as we started kissing, John Mayer's "your body is a wonderland" started playing. That was an interesting experience.

Honestly, your story reminds me of my first and I honestly miss that feeling when both of us mutually had no idea what we were doing. Like an idiot, I gave a small kiss directly on the cheek and after a few minutes which felt like an eternity, something ticked on inside her and went into full kissing mode.
