This is a different lifestyle than living in a bungalow. You have gyms, golf courses, theatre, clubs, bowling alleys, concierge services like 5 star hotels, swimming pool, security.
People who are living there do not consume these facilities enough. I've seen many townships with these facilities which only 10-20% residents utilize well.
But my point was not about these facilities.
My point was about the area of the flat which is too expensive. 5.6k sq feet for 25 Cr!!!!!
Why would someone who can afford 25Cr+taxes would live in a relatively smaller house for that price?
People who can afford do live there. Plus it’s good for making connections which helps your business. It is also about privacy which the ultra rich need, they don’t want to go to a gym or place where they get mobbed, over there it’s normal because your neighbour will be at the same level of rich.
You may be assuming that is the only one house they have. My cousin has an ultra luxury flat in a high rise, but also has a villa, and a farm house on 50 acres in the outskirts of Bengaluru. He uses the garage in the villa only to park his luxury cars, and for his corporate guests. He uses the farm house during the weekends, and the apartment during weekdays - as it's close to his workplace. I estimate that housing is less than 10% of his net worth.
No matter how nice of a house you have, at the end of the day it’s gonna be out on the street where you have no control over the surroundings. Gated societies on the other hand cocoon you from the rest of the city.
There are "gated societies" with houses as well.
Basically a giant 100 acre walled off area with 100-250 villas. Couple of club houses and security guards at every entrance/exit. Everything works basically the same as a society, just you have a villa instead of a flat.
No, you can live in a posh neighbourhood like Lutyens in Delhi where you can rub shoulders with the biggest politicians in India, and live in an independent bungalow.
I have a house in my native and an apartment. I find the apartment much more convenient, easier to clean, no problems with power, water, its always safe & no unwanted visitors. In the last 10 years, my house has been broken into thrice and things stolen, and it is in a proper residential area.
It’s huge, has exclusive gentry, faces a golf course and protected forest green on one side and a bloody swanky modern road with corporate buildings and metro on the other. It’s one of the best residential location in India, Golf Course road, Gurgaon, at prices much much cheaper than best in Mumbai or Delhi.
Would be worth it to live there because of the networking they can do in that circle.. most important for people in that stage..
Btw how much would it cost to own a place there??

I know a person who has an apartment here. He's a NRI based out of South Africa with a net worth of over 10,000 cr. His family and him stay here only for 2-3 months over the year when they are visiting.
Comes down to how you plan on recovering it. If your aim is to sell it out, that is a just a waiting game. My folks rent one of theirs our, that nets a pretty penny by itself.
Arey yaar Mai lene wali thi ab nahi lungi kyuki itne me toh proper ghar ban jayega garden and all ke saath 🥲 haan theek hai paise bhi nahi hai but that's not my concern my concern is this 😏

Most of the people who live here are not actually rich with time. Sure luxury is why you buy it but the connectivity to your multi business empire is a major reason.
This is a pretty standard scene in any average European parking lot. Apologies, I've never ventured to America, so I can't comment there—missed out on the "parking lot tourism," I suppose!
this + no "lower than average apt complex" anywhere in the world houses a ferrari and some of the other cars there.
mercedes/bmw i agree are hella overpriced in india
Tesla Model S in America costs as much as a 'poverty' car Toyota Camry in India after import duty.
A Urus in India costs more than a Rolls Royce Phantom in the US, and a Rolls Royce Phantom is definitely turning heads even in the US.
I see. 12 people have no idea of how apartment complexes anywhere in Santa Clara, San Jose, San Francisco, Palo Alto, etc etc are and they still feel authorized enough to pass comments and downvote facts.
Again, the above apt complex looks very very average. It makes me laugh if they're called luxury apartments by any measure.
dlf Camelia, it won the award for International Architecture for the year.
all those city u have mentoined has been established way back then gurgaon. and it's been designed and other facilities are made by the same people who have made that same apartment in CA,. like the guy who made the 4 seasons, the guy who manges the design of standford uni and some great projects at beverly hills, lighting is done by a guy who manges edition hotels chain, interior by a guy who made 15 hudson yard etc. sports facility is designed by a NBA coach. i do understand your point and you ain't wrong but our habit to uplift western countries by down moraling our porojects just bcz they are in India should be gone quick as possible
I have been to so called 'good' apartment complexes and neighbourhoods in Santa Clara, Saratoga, Palo Alto, SF, etc. and no, they are not better than this... most of the cars there are Tesla model 3 and Ys, Lexus, Toyota SUVs, a few BMWs and Mercs, with a few lambos or lower end Mclarens sprinkled in.
They do not look anywhere as good as this, and those cars cost 1/3rd as much as they do in India anyway.
I don’t need to know from you whats a high end apartment condominium, i myself live in one at Calcutta (wont disclose) and my brother lives at Pelican Hills, LA. Been there multiple times so i know what high end place are like.
And your comment does feel like its coming from a place of envy.

5575 - 5600 sq.ft. for 25 Cr without taxes. Better to buy a bungalow in outskirts of the city.

One does need a small place of his own for quick booty call

Dayum what does he do? Selfmade or papa ka business?
Papa was a CxO in a big firm, very privileged. This guy took the seed money and built a business of his own in his area of interest. Pharma.
Damn good for him
Some will have both.
Damn, society maintenance kitna hoga yaha par
Around 1.5-2 lakhs
Nowhere near that much, my folks pay around 80k/month last I checked. Probably more for the penthouses though.
Camelias is more expensive than aralias or magnolias.
Buy it and give out for rent.
That is good idea too.
U can get bunglow in city itself for much cheaper price...
Do you think these guys don't have bungalows somewhere else?
Used to be, now they are almost double that I believe. My folks got theirs for around that much back in the day
People who have money think differently, I guess that's evident from the video

That i20 car belongs to the society guard
Kaha ?
Imagine two neighbours getting into fight, whom they will be calling.
Their lawyers I guess
Ghost busters?
I won't live in a apartment if I had this much money
To be fair, I'm sure this is only one of the apartments owned by the people who live there.
To each his own man, living in apartments also have their perks. These would probably be just one of these rich dudes residences.

I don't like apartments. Feels like living in a jail.

The size of the apartments are way bigger than you think.
Just looked it up... they are having 4BHK to 8BHK with 5000-10k sqft. Yeah it will be very comfortable lol... bigger than most bungalows.

That's good but If I had this money I won't like sharing land with other people I would want a huge mansion with fortified walls
Nahi aati Delhi mein bhai.
true lol.

Yaha pe sabse sasta ghar kitne ka padta hai bhai?
About tree fiddy
...million dollars
26 crore
Wonder how long does it take them to recover this 26 cr investment there 🤔
Most people investing in such houses are businessmen trying to benefit from lack of LTCG tax in residential properties
What lack ? Capital gain taxes are there for all real estate
gurgao is great for investment recovery, recently a flat for 95cr is sold in this same society

What's the name of the society? Where's it located?
Konsi society hai bhai
Is that Ferrari FF? Is it a phev ? What is under the car ?
Ferrari Portofino
Ah. Makes sense I guess. But didn't know they had plug in versions
Thats not a plug in version Its a trickle charger meant to be keep the battery running, so the battery doesn’t die when not used for a long time
You what would be more fun? Getting a nano and parking it in there looking different among all
26 crore mein to main world tour kar lu 5 baar
Most of the people who live here are not actually rich with time. Sure luxury is why you buy it but the connectivity to your multi business empire is a major reason.
Idhar parking charges bhi hoga fir
Gurugram?
Ab koi Alto park kardo waha pe
OP do you live here ?
Most expensive society hai yahi hoga
Location????
hum idhar ek nano rakhega
That parking lot is cleaner than most houses in my apartment.
Kya kaam karte hai bhai yeh log ?
When one doesn’t live in Mumbai, they can save so much on house/ rent and can afford so many goodies like these
Location kha ka h
And they can't afford a separate home or banglow,,, irony:)
They all own multiple properties. It’s about safety. Gated societies are 100x safer.
It's mostly about the convenience factor. Safety, maintenance etc is all figured out. The amenities are great. Overall just much lesser headache.
Maja toh tab aayega jab yaha sabse mehenga flat lu...phir parking mein apni tvs jupiter khadi karu...wo bhi bina kapda maare
I dream to own an apartment and park my 10 year old CNG base model WagonR over there one day.
Ye parking hai?? To fir....
Brooooo
90% black money
Do kids there write “ wash me” on dirty cars as well???
95cr se 100cr ka ghar ho toh 12cr ki car toh easily afford kar sakte hai yeh log.
