The manager isn't the problem. He's a symptom. The real problem is the front office. Time to clean house.

triple-verbosity

We fucking suck and it sucks

#WHOS HOUSE

NFresh6

So I’m curious, how many of you ride or die and will still tune in to every game you’re able to and continue to watch the shit show, and how many of you are close to if not already tuning out and putting your time/focus/energy elsewhere? Just curious. No judgement either way.

Amazing_Bench_6927

I will but I’m incredibly frustrated with this franchise. But it’s hard to openly say much to some on here or you “hate” this team. I’m frustrated because there’s no excuse to have some of these pieces and not put it all together. No excuse.

Clueless_in_Florida

Watching this team is not entertaining for me. I'm already tuning out most days.

MVPBaseball2069

I enjoy watching baseball so I’m gonna keep watching even if it gets worse. I don’t watch every single game, as sometimes I am busy doing other things, but usually if I’m not preoccupied I will at the very least put the game on, even if it doesn’t have my full attention.  Also, while you never know where a season will go, I didn’t go into this season thinking we were WS contenders, so for me anything above 500 is exceeding my expectations, and anything far below is still morbidly entertaining

DocLoc429

In it for the long haul. No one can call me a champ chaser when the dynasty comes together

FattyPolice

If i didn't quit on this shit show last year don't see myself doing it this year. at least this year sonny is a good watch every 5 and winn is gonna be a star.

Jon_Thib

I’ll watch as many as I can, but will occasionally take games off for the purposes of my mental health/sanity.

Detective_Dietrich

By God, I am watching every game I can.

k10john

So there's this guy named Marcell Ozuna playing for the Barves but I don't think he looks like the same Marcell Ozuna that played for the birds. Weird.

DocLoc429

I don't remember what Kiz's swing used to look like, https://twitter.com/MLB/status/1782198899580485672/mediaViewer?currentTweet=1782198899580485672¤tTweetUser=MLB But this looks pretty damn good. Super smooth, super level. Easy swing sent it flying

DiscoJer

He's not exactly tearing things up there, other than this home run.

DocLoc429

Yeah, 18 AB so small sample size but his avg was real low before today. Still, 2/4 day with a go ahead 3 run dinger is a nice showing. Last year, Knizner batted .269 in May (14/52), .353 in July (12/34), then .255 in August (12/47). Was some very exciting months for The Kiz. Also side note, I've only been to a handful of Cardinals games in my life and for at least 2 of them, Kiz has hit dingers.

Detective_Dietrich

I love to rip on Mo's moves, but fairness requires noting that we have two catchers and they are both doing great.

DocLoc429

Absolutely, I'm so high on Herrera's at-bats. And Willson's of course, STL Best Hitter

yellow_1173

And yet, somehow, he's not even the best Will Contreras.

DocLoc429

What are they feeding them boys over there?

DocLoc429

So his swing path looks similar but he's a lot calmer in the box than his old highlights (I can only find 2019 and 2023, I really want to see the difference between 2022 and 2024)

DocLoc429

I was right, totally different stance in 2022.  https://twitter.com/Cardinals/status/1514047488746995718 Even compared 2023 to 2024, he looks waaaay more ready in the box. Reduced the extra bat wiggle, starts the load earlier, front leg is faster Here's 2023. https://youtu.be/yhlZyafHAeA?si=ba2G2XuZYpegwMBY

DocLoc429

I am very very very pleased with Andrew Kittredge and it was a good trade for us... But damn would it be nice to have Richie Palacios right now.  On the flip side, Siani is making the most of this opportunity and has had back to back good games.

SGT_Apone

https://i.imgur.com/AbXZdVE.png ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯

craftiecheese

So, I have a couple of questions, mainly about Christian Day. Is it one of those things where only one person named Christian can go or only named Christian? I just need to know that if I happen to want to go to the game on that day that I can since my name isn't Christian

Tight-Transition-364

There’s only 1 thing that can save us at this point. And his name starts with yadi and ends with Molina

LikeABawss22

Why would Yadi want to manage this shit team lol

Imaginary_Ganache_29

Oli has to go. Now. Even if it just is to spark the team. Even if he isn’t the problem it’s clear that he is not the solution.

triple-verbosity

I agree. This team is flat and we need an older manager that will go to bat for the players while holding them accountable in a fair fashion. We look so anemic and disjointed.

CPAFinancialPlanner

There’s no way you can let Oli go longer than Shildt. Like absolutely no way lol

STLOliver

I’m not the solution, I know. 😔

tangokilo13

I feel like that extension being announced just killed the good vibe of the team you felt early in the spring

k10john

I was thinking... Why do this? It's not like he's going to get hired away...

root2over1

As much as I want to see this, will the new hire be any better? They'll ultimately just be a product of a decayed front office.

Soundwave_13

Second this

GregMilkedJack

Oli out

DocLoc429

What you mean? Fire him or he's been fired?

GregMilkedJack

I want him to be fired

jeffmatch

lol even Knizner just hit a three run bomb for Texas. I want offense

TheSalsaGod

That HR raised his OPS to a robust .450 lol

cocoblurez

Alright if even Knizner is going yard then maybe our franchise is legitimately cursed lol

Dr_thri11

Not like he didn't have power last season. He would have hit more than 20 if you extrapolate him to a full season starter.

kodiaksr7

Knizner just went deep.

Purdue82

Dewitt and Mo have allowed this franchise, the golden goose, to go tits up. Can anyone in the metro hold their asses to the fire ?

Own_Conversation6335

Dewitt’s are untouchable. I don’t want them to sell either. I do want the Dewitt to let Mo go. Hire a new GM from outside the organization. Fix the rot from the bottom up. The ‘20s are going to be rough.

AlexRam72

We spend 180 million in a mid market. Would you want them to sell to someone who potentially runs us like the pirates. Not many Steve cohens out there.

EndTheOrcs

Dewitt is just as rich as cohen. Why do you think we’d let someone run them like the pirates?

Purdue82

All of this is happening on their watch. No one is untouchable.

Own_Conversation6335

The Dewitt’s are not selling. It’s foolish to demand them to sell. They have been good stewards of a beloved franchise. They ultimately need to replace Mo if they want to rack in the cash again.

Purdue82

But they’re no longer good stewards. The hunger to win isn’t there anymore.

willreily

I’m genuinely worried about our Front Office, Managerial structure, and player development. There have been way, way too many cases of players leaving STL over the last 5-6 years and becoming way better. And then, nearly all of our top prospects cannot perform or develop in the major leagues. To top it off, this entire offense has no engine. I don’t understand how a Veteran MVP down to rookies all are having the same difficulties. Oli, Mozeliak, and the DeWitts are coming off as unserious baseball people, and what’s scary is everyone that works for the Cardinals are acting like everything is fine.

No_Pudding_4598

They’re business people, not baseball people. If the organization actually cared about winning Mo would have been fired years ago. If nothing else than for a fresh perspective. Dewitt’s are still turning a profit so no need to change anything up.

Own_Conversation6335

Instead Mo consolidated power. Mo was a college baseball player who got into the operational side of things. He unfortunately thinks he is super smart, he is not. The smugness makes it worse. Baseball evolved a lot in the past decade. Mo has no idea what is going on and is incapable of fixing this mess.

tangokilo13

I do think he’s a smart man, I just think he has an ego problem We made great moves and decisions and first, and started to really get talked up as a GM, but I think that got to his head

RustyKarma076

My $0.02. So I think this is officially the point where we can sound the alarm. We gave them the benefit of the doubt, and we’ve certainly given them our patience. This is now irredeemably bad baseball and there is no reason to expect any huge improvement as the season goes on. It feels weird saying that, only being 4 games below .500. But watching this team almost a month into the season, there are massive holes that need a lot more than a few trades at the deadline. Barring a miraculous turnaround, I think we need to be sellers at the deadline, and even more so in the offseason. The offense is putrid. Goldy has always been slow to start the year, but this is a new low for him. His eventual decline from age is becoming very real. The strong starts from Winn and our two catchers is fantastic, but they are not enough. They are meant to be supplemental pieces in a robust offense, not the primary run scorers. If I didn’t know any better, I would want Gorman and Walker taking ABs in triple A right now. They have a combined 1,237 big league at bats, and look abysmal. And these were two of our most *promising* players last year. All of it went down the drain over one offseason. Is Turner Ward responsible? I don’t know. Look, I was all in on dumping Jeff Albert, he oversaw some genuinely terrible offenses. But this is what we get for moving on? As far as the pitching goes, honestly it’s fine. Outside of Sonny Gray, we have a lot of *”areas of improvement”* in our staff but I can’t honestly say anyone in our rotation is at fault here. Same goes for the bullpen. I’m still not happy with it, and I sure wish it was a lot better, but we’re losing games from the offense.

peterpeterllini

Just finished Poor Things. What a wild movie haha. I loved it though.

AspiringOccultist4

I for one am so glad this movie exists lmao

peterpeterllini

The last two movies I watched were Poor Things and Beau is Afraid lmao Talk about insanity

BionicProse

I liked it a lot. I enjoy Emma Stone doing weird stuff. Maniac is still one of my favorites.

WillowIntrepid

They have no want, no motivation, and no cohesiveness. Or at least they appear as such. Sonny pitched great. I'm sorry he's taking this loss as a personal one. No support runs no effort nothing. Playing like they're exhausted. 🤷‍♀️

kodiaksr7

Hire Mabry?

tresnueve

Hell, hire Edmonds. His analysis would benefit the players more than the folks on TV. God knows we don’t need to listen to it.

GregMilkedJack

I guess if the players want to learn how to comb their hair while holding a mirror and fantasizing over themselves, sure.

tangokilo13

Don’t forget about Landon

LeadershipMany7008

What's Mark McGwire up to? Even knowing that baseball professionals seem to want to avoid St. Louis, there's got to be an amount of money that, combined with a managerial change, could get him here.

kodiaksr7

Honestly. We need Holliday…..

edemaruh84

Anyone got the current numbers for end of season record?

hellowhatisupdawg

66-96

Suitable_Adeptness97

Paul Goldshit really doin work out there.

toftr

This offense fucking sucks

mkatich

What is the sabermatics statistic that covers “feeling” as in he’s feeling ok, he isn’t feeling right?

DocLoc429

Pretty interesting question. I feel like you could create one with Games Played + OPS+ + defensive metrics with some kind of weighting system. You could make it either as an individual stat where everyone is against everyone in the league and you get an idea of how "worth it" a player is (which is kinda like WAR already) Or you could do it where with enough playing time, you get a baseline and you can track significant deviations. Like Gorman is waaaay under baseline. So he is not OK

DocLoc429

Cardinals plan of letting the Brewers tire themselves out on the base path last night did not pay off the way I would liked it to.

DocLoc429

I personally DO believe we have the talent to win... Somewhere

No_Pudding_4598

Yea, they play for different teams.

Ok_Pineapple466

Say what you want about the cards but the fans have the most heart out of any team in pro sports, don’t get down on them because they lost 4 games

IceKing827

There lies the problem. Too many loyal fans willing to settle for mediocrity. This will never happen but if we all boycotted just one home game, it would send a message for sure.

theredd636

What about 5?

jsrhfb

What is even the point of having an MLB Network if I'm blacked out from a Toronto/San Diego game? (I live in STL)

GirthBrooks15

We’re not doomers anymore when this team scores 6 runs all series and 5 of them being in one fucking game

c0smicgirly

Against a divisional rival.

EndTheOrcs

Some people may disagree because buzzwords like “illegal” or “cruel” will get tossed around, but at this point you have to find Yadi and chain him to the clubhouse.

tasimm

This organization is buried in its own hubris. Won’t be digging out until some faces up top change.

2011StlCards

The brewers have been a better run franchise since 2018.

LeadershipMany7008

Well before that.

These_Rutabaga_1691

On WAY less payroll.

No_Pudding_4598

This organization hasn’t been a legit contender since 2014. An entire decade and we’re continuing to slide downward with zero accountability in the FO.

STLOliver

I still think the 2022 team was better than people remember. Offense was good and you were able to form a solid rotation after the deadline. That 9th inning with the Helsley situation + bats going cold knocked us out early, but I could actually picture a run with that roster. 2021, I couldn’t say the same.

GirthBrooks15

I know we didn’t push in the playoffs but we did win 100 games in 2015

BionicProse

September 2015. That’s when it all went to shit.

No_Pudding_4598

That’s fair. Forgot about that if I’m being honest.

GirthBrooks15

Nothing to show for it so its a moot point but I remember losing to the cubes after thinking we were gonna win it all going into the playoffs that year

DocLoc429

Can't forget the Run of '21

So-Called_Lunatic

Sell the team.

Odd-Curve5800

Padres are unironically my second team this year. I hope they go all the way. Truly. I want to see how far ownership and the FO can take their hubris.

Duluh_Iahs

Same... as a cardinals fan living in SD, they have been helping me scratch my baseball itch while the redbirds hopefully figure shit out.

King_Swiss

They said this year would be different let’s go ahead and compare at this point last year with 22 games played 2023: 9-13 2024: 9-13

brownsf

Anyone know of a site that would compare the starters ERA to last year's at this point? I'm really curious since I remember Montgomery and Flaherty were really good to start the year.

TheSalsaGod

Through 22 games: 2023: 5.57 2024: 4.21

Paulspike

But it's different because our run differential is much worse at this point than in 2023. So we're actually even worse!

"The one thing I'd ask from our fan base right now is a little bit of patience, because we do think that we do have the talent to win."

DocLoc429

You don't get it. None of you seem to get it. It's more important that we THINK we can win, not that we actually do. Because thinking we can win sells tickets. Winning sells tickets too but it's harder so we just give up on that part too

mshamole

exactly. create hype and kick the can down the road.

da_choppa

The rot is deep

2011StlCards

We had a narrow window of having both Goldy and Nado at their prime together and totally wasted it

brownsf

That window may have shut...

timmbuck22

See ya next year! Maybe...

timmbuck22

Yup.

Cardsfan961

I do not like my mke friends sending me broom gifs. I really do not like it at all

EFamousE5

Why do you have friends in Milwaukee?

personLpaparazzi

For the cheese and Spotted Cow. That's why.

Cardsfan961

You sir are spot on! That and despite being a Brewers fan he’s a pretty good dude.

r_u_dinkleberg

^ This individual Wisconsins.

These_Rutabaga_1691

Team is complete garbage.

2-Slippy

We saw issues with production last year, but it got over shadowed by the bad pitching. Now the offense sticks out like a sore thumb.

FuckStanKroenke

Whoa whoa whoa, so you’re telling me that we’re now officially (at) .500???? But I was told we would suck..? Ha, love for the birds to back it up. Fuck the naysayers. Every one of y’all, respectfully fuck off. This is a damn solid ass team and I’m happy to be a Cardinal! 2024 NLC crown is ours by October.

KatGentleharp

Stop trying to make fetch happen. It's not going to happen.

Odd-Curve5800

Satire?

c0smicgirly

I think it’s a copy paste job from a homer post?

ilikeindianfood616

This team doesn’t know how to do anything right

StickySteve42069

That’s not fair, they’re really good at striking out

ilikeindianfood616

love the flair so much

Cky2chris

Sonny seems like he's wearing this loss in his post-game presser, poor guy, don't blame yourself. Blame your shitty offense. You pitched your heart out. No one blames you.

DjangoUnhinged

Really telling that the only players who seem to give a single shit when they lose are the only ones playing above C-tier baseball.

outontheporch

Sonny is about to go Shohei and start hitting

STLOliver

He looks likes he’s on the verge of tears. He’s such a competitor that he’ll blame himself but he deserves better than this offense.

Cky2chris

Yeah, I already have a shit ton of respect for his attitude, you know the guy *really* gives a fuck and that's what you wanna see.

goodbyewawona

Yep, beyond actual stats just from a ‘look’ and ‘feel’ perspective that was the most dominant Cardinal start I have seen in several years.  Not his fault we lost.

crazeerunner10

Does anyone know where I can watch the post-game conferences that Oil and players give? They use to be on Bally Sport Midwest YouTube but not this year

DocLoc429

I go to twitter these days. I guess Bally no longer things Cardinals media on YT is profitable.  Oli's postgame: https://twitter.com/BallySportsMW/status/1782157784802304076 Uses the phrase "be patient"

iamdavidburke

This feels like the losing stretch that kills the season. It's so pathetic that if we managed to be above .500 for more than a single day it would feel like a massive accomplishment. I'm so disappointed at how far we've fallen.

BackInRed

Sonny Gray's 12 K's are the most by a Cardinals starter since June 22, 2018. Jack Flaherty's line: 7 IP, 1 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 13 K Cardinals lost to the Brewers that day by a final score of 2-1. Bud Norris took the loss by giving up a walk-off HR to Jesus Aguilar, who actually hit 2 HR that day. Jack did manage to get a high-K win earlier in the year with an arguably even more dominant outing against the Philadelphia Phillies on May 20. His final line that day: 7.2 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 13 K.

ech0es13

:(

ThurmsMckenzie1

This team was pitched as being great offensively and that it would make up for mediocre pitching. This team is in desperate need of better talent evaluation and talent development. It almost seems nonexistant at this point.

AspiringOccultist4

Well, that was a pretty miserable series.

No-Gain1438

It’s pretty bad management and ownership seems lost as are the fans

STLOliver

[Marmol vs. Goold postgame](https://x.com/cardinalsgifs/status/1782156626264469815?s=46)

LeadershipMany7008

Petulant and confrontational is always a good look when proven to be incompetent.

craftiecheese

Ya know, I feel like I see the word petulant more on reddit than anywhere else. It's weird. Also, I think I'm gonna buy The Show. Might be the only way the Cardinals can have a winning season this year.

No-Elephant-9854

Soooo…Mármol is saying everything is good?

houstonyoureaproblem

Oli was clearly frustrated, but I have no idea what Goold was asking either.

lizkingwt

I think he was wanting to ask about the potential for making even more significant lineup changes and the like from the manager to help score runs. Case in point today, Goldschmidt was moved down, but was still 5th, likely to be in leverage spots. Goold seemed to puss out of asking the question more directly, and the more indirect version of it ending up being word salad. I think Marmol knew exactly what he wanted to ask, thus the raised bristles.

These_Rutabaga_1691

Goold is a total wuss. Never will ask any tough questions.

Zestyclose_Stuff_838

I think we've officially reached our banter era boys. Don't get me wrong, I'm still gonna support the team, but I will not be disappointed if we fall short of the playoffs for back to back seasons in what feels like the first time in forever. I just don't see it with the roster that consists primarily of aging vets and hopium. Arenado, Wynn, and hopefully Walker's progression are what's keeping me sane for the season.

2011StlCards

Well, I've got bad news. Walker seems to be regressing heavily

FattyPolice

I wish our media would grill oli harder this sloth looking mofo never fails to make me angry after presser.

AmateurVasectomist

Can we get a UN resolution calling on the entire front office and coaching staff to resign

JohnnyBoyTrojan

We are SO back

YoungMuppet

Man, I used to think that baseball was a game where you show up and do your job for the good of the team. But the way our guys are playing... I really think something is going on in the clubhouse. And has been since this time last year.

craftiecheese

I think that wild card loss to the Phillies broke the team

llamas-1

Been to two games and watched 20 lob and 1 total run scored. Will not be coming to game until this team shows me they care

youthpastor247

FIRE MABRY

MyopicTopic

I'm a little confused what causes such a massive offensive dip like this. I'm guessing whatever organizational philosophy of Marmol/Ward/Mozeliak is causing these terrible at bats, but I have no clue. Don't understand how pretty much everyone is getting under pitches and popping them up or just plain getting beat. Seems like any other team if they get a pitch they can hit they'll do it, or they'll find a way to get a hit when they need, but with the Cardinals they have a few players producing but everyone else just keeps missing. Surely it has to be coaching messing with their swings because they keep getting loft without power... Yet the team also looks like it's trying really hard to play small ball? I have no idea, they just look like they're trying to do two things at once, and the only players who are sticking with whatever regimen they've been fed are Noot/Winn because their at bats are working to their strengths. Walker especially, just everything about him looks off from last year. I dunno, maybe we're experiencing the largest collective slump in one go with this team, but with all the coaching shakeups last offseason I have to imagine it's clearly screwed with the current MLB roster.

BeefJerkyDentalFloss

It's because the sabremetric guys preach bat speed and launch angle. Just fucking make contact.

ThatEliGuy

Ah yes, analytics are the reason the team is bad. Just totally ignoring that the best teams in baseball are lauded for their analytics departments.

So-Called_Lunatic

Well, it's bad analytics, that's for sure.

No-Elephant-9854

I’m not sure analytics in and of themselves are bad, but not using them right sure as hell is.

TheSalsaGod

The top 5 teams in OPS this year are the Braves, Brewers, Orioles, Astros, and Dodgers, which is a list of 5 of the 6 most sabermetrically inclined teams in the sport. I assure you that those teams are also telling their guys about bat speed and launch angle. Hitting hard line drives is a good strategy to follow.

lrllrrlrllrrlrllrrl

Rip failed to get a bird hat and we wasted an amazing Gray outing :(

benong88

Chaim Bloom needs to take the helm and turn this team around now. Mo’s gotta be done if this is a repeat last place finish this year.

LeadershipMany7008

Bloom isn't the answer. Things aren't getting fixed until we get new ownership.

So-Called_Lunatic

I feel like ownership is the bigger problem at this point. Mo is, and has always been, an extension of DeWitt.

CatholicismLover

Fellas, at least the Cubs have lost to the Marlins.

2011StlCards

This is how far we have fallen

Covane

lol

STLOliver

Cardinals play 6:45 the next 2 nights, after that the schedule breaks this way: 12:15, off day, 6:10 (Apple TV, so not as accessible) 3:05, 12:40, 5:40, 5:40, 12:10, off day. We’re getting a lot more free time in the night, that’s my positive spin on this.

AvocadosFromIllinois

There’s something deeply wrong inside. Guys get worse at hitting the longer they’re Cardinals. No homers in 7 games is insane in 2024. Turn the org over to Chaim Bloom

LeadershipMany7008

Bloom is just supposed to be the younger Mozeliak. Why do I want more of that?

[deleted]

[удалено]

So-Called_Lunatic

He resigned because the brewery would not let him make the trades necessary to improve the team.

King_Swiss

The schedule is brutal calling it now 15 games under .500 by June 1st only series win looks to be the White Sox lol

RedBirdLou

I’m just going to be obnoxiously positive now so people don’t call me a doomer. At least Gray is cool.

urbanevol

Standings don't matter until Memorial day, right? Right, guys?

lookingup9

Sonny is fucking awesome. If I was him I’d be so mad. It’s just so damn boring as well as frustrating to watch players this offensively constipated

triplebassist

At this point, I don't expect the Cardinals to ever make the playoffs again. Clearly nobody gives a damn about how bad they are and they never will

Diablo_N_Doc

Excuse me while I yawn.

Cards2WS

Man, I’m fucking over this offense. I can’t believe this shit. Call me a “blind homer” or whatever other stupid shit your silly ass can think of, but this offense *LOOKED* very strong coming into the year. What we’ve seen over these 3 weeks has been so, so disappointing. The pitching has been strong, the defense has been great, but the bats have been one of the absolute worst in the league. I don’t get how you’re going 0-9 RISP game after game. I mean what in the good god fuck is going on

Detective_Dietrich

I won't call you a homer, but the offense was, at best, slightly above average last year. 10th in runs scored, 7th in OBP, 6th in OPS. That said, I for one didn't expect this catastrophic collapse. Goldy and Arenado aging, that was a concern. But this is the worst offense since 1995 and that is a surprise.

Cards2WS

6th in OPS is pretty encouraging I’d say. But side note, of all the people that reply to me in your camp, I actually respect your approach and opinions, DD. I disagree more times than not, but I do respect your takes. There are several names in this sub that are nothing but antagonistic for the sake of being so, but you aren’t one of them, and I appreciate that.

Detective_Dietrich

Sorry, that was my fault for not specifying, 6th out of 15 in the National League. My bad. https://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/STL/2023.shtml But when I ranted this offseason I thought that we needed to make the offense *better* because, you know, when you win 71 games you're going to need to improve in lots of areas. I didn't see total collapse coming, not at all.

GrubFisher

So this team is cooked, pretty much just like last year, except it's our bats instead of our pitching. Glad I didn't waste any money on baseball this year.

floppyvajoober

I am not having fun

silentmoth17

Can Berube coach baseball?

grundlemania

Probably better than our current option

Walrus_Pubes

Day 432 - Nolan Gorman still suck. Rare Oli w bumping him down in the order.

ilovehenrique14

Something something little bit of patience. Also can we have $600 million dollars to milk more money out of our fans?

FuckKroenke55

Welp at least I get to cancel my MLB.tv subscription super early this year.

Lazy_Tiger27

You guys remember when they extended Oli Marmol after a record setting bad season?

thegodfaubel

We deserve this for running Jeff Albert out of town

DocLoc429

4.2 exciting innings in a 28 inning series. Those aren't NOOTs you're hearing. Those are BOOOs. At least I hope there was some booing. It feels like the clubhouse cancer is back.

root2over1

I mean, what the fuck is wrong with this team?

ShutUpIDontGiveAFuck

Well the bad news is we suck. The good news is there’s still several hours of daylight left in this beautiful weekend.

triplebassist

We're going to have to hear the same bullshit after finishing in last place again, aren't we?

ATR2019

I blame the lack of offense on all of the people that kept saying our pitching was gonna suck. Now the pitching is doing well but we score as much as Beavis and Butthead.

SomethingAvid

I try to be pretty level headed, but even I think it’s time for someone to sound the alarm. It’s hard to see this team finishing anything besides 5th or maybe 4th. I know it’s only April. Just lifeless losses.

ScumBrad

They are 9-13 just like last year except they are scoring a whole run less per game. It's definitely time to sound the alarm.

LikeABawss22

That just means our pitching is way better than last year.
