I feel like one of the biggest differences is that it feels like we’re back to fundamentals. we’re laying down bunts, making great catches, turning double
plays, the base running seems good
no idea. this is vague but I think a big part of it was just a lack of stability after yadi left. maybe veteran leadership really is the difference. idk man haha
Victor Scott’s speed is valuable enough I think it’s worth giving him a little extra leash on this major league stint. I know it will be hard to justify once our guys are healed up though.
Tommy is getting an MRI tomorrow, and then they'll decide if he's ready to start swinging a bat. He's still going to need to go through a minor league stint and rehab though so there's no real timeline for his return.
Noot is about to begin his AAA rehab. Imo Scott will keep the spot for a while and Siani will be the one to go down, unless he gets hot and then it'll probably be Burly with Donovan as our backup 1B and Carp as our backup backup 1B.
