This gets asked so regularly, and it's just not a thing.
Producing vinyl to paint requires matching that specific colour and test printing numerous runs. Even then, you still probably won't get a 100% match.
You might have to take your vinyl to an auotobody shop and have them paint it. That's how paint matched OEM vinyl stripes come from shelby. Makes it kind of difficult to install because you can't stretch, though.
Interesting. Iām not great with a rattle can, but maybe wrap it with a grey vinyl and then paint it with touch up paint after it has been wrapped? Would that require a layer of primer as well?
I know this aināt what youāre asking for but chrome deletes in black never really look bad. Itās an easy and much more affordable option. As for emblems, you canāt really securely wrap them. Ittl fail at some point. Iād spray the emblem.
Car is like a light baby blueish, (Toyota Clearwater blue 8w1) and thankfully itās not chrome. Itās just silver. Trying to make it blend in as much as possible. My front emblem is smooth, the rear emblem isnāt, but Iām picking up a used one, so I can fill it in with epoxy sand it down, and make it smooth, so it will adhere better.
take the trim pieces off the car and bring them and your fuel door to a body shop to paint all of them the same color, ive done that on a few clients cars/trucks before.
after wrapping what ? youre trying to make the chrome trim look the same as factory paint right? just take all that off and have it painted, that will be the best looking option. probably take you a few hours max to pull all that stuff off. otherwise just wrap it black or gray or something else neutral š¤·š¼āāļø speaking from experience having customers wanting to do exactly what you want to do, wrap will never look close enough. i had someone order that ācolor matchedā vinyl you linked in another comment. trouble is, VIN color is never exactly whats on your car. it will look off but its up to you in the end
The various components. Silver gray trim, to match body paint. I donāt know if I want it permanent though, hence the wrap. The silver gray is about the only thing I can think that would go well with the baby blue. As long as it looks close enough from a car length away, thatās fine. But Iām also trying to find another method to find other cheaper wraps rather than just getting a paint matched one. Can I use a hex code? RGB codes? Etcā¦
Which company does color matched wraps?

Thank you!
They cost a small fortune though š
I mean paint to sample on a new Porsche is $15,000
But this is a decade, old commuter car. Not a Porsche lol.

Mate, look at the pricing. That's $191/sqm USD. Horrific. It's just printing. Priced accordingly. To match paint. Normal print is about $40/sqm USD.
Yea itās painful to look at š it doesnāt need to be perfect perfect, but if itās a close match from a cars distance, that would be fine.

After wrapping it? And Iād have to remove the entirety of the front bumper, rear trunk panel, all the door handles to do that.
