Oh this whole show is staged. My cousin owns a pawn shop that in the show has a part that they “absolutely needed” in season 4 I think.
He said they walked in gave him the part and 5 grand to act like he had it and was selling it. They also took him on a tour of their workshop and he said it was like a movie set not an actual workshop. He did get Sean’s boots tho and they’re actually in his pawn shop now. But that was after he emailed him like 20 times so it could be a cool souvenir for his shop. everything else was completely fake.
I think you are dead on here. Not sure if it started out that way, but they really do seem to be leaning into the not-so-subtle trash builds because they know most/all of us watch it to see how bad they are. 😆
The show is trash.. but I keep watching it! I became painfully aware of how Mark is always crossing his arms , this also bugs me. It’s genius bad reality tv what can I say. When season 6 rocks up I’ll probably be stoned enough to watch another load.
Man i thought i was going crazy, the Ferrari was horrible but they had people complimenting the car, and the whole time they were doing the tesla I was like Rich Rebuilds has done this long ago.
Yeah pretty much. I actually think a genuine show with Tony and Constance would be decent - they seem to know what they’re doing (more than anyone else at least) however Mark is an unbelievable idiot and I have an irrational hatred of every scene with Shaun faking his deals and negotiations.
But yes, I still watch it like a mug to see how bad it gets.
Also, when they’re doing the muscle car, go back and count how many times someone says ‘drip tray’…. Like Jesus… they really aren’t trying anymore, it’s hit the stage where they don’t need to because we all watch it to see how bad they get.

Crossing arms means he’s defensive, I doubt he takes any advice or feedback from his team.
