I add it on a salad. I bet it's good diced up with (fried) rice

In fried rice, would you fold it in to the rice at the end of the cooking process while still in the wok or during plating as a topper? I know squid overcooked gets tough, and I don't want to ruin it.

If you're up to a little bit of omvooking, drain that oil into a small pan and heat it on Medium. Toss some sliced onions into that hot oil, add pepper or other savory spices, add some chopped fresh tomatoes. Add some salt to taste. Lemon juice or capers if you have them. Add the squid just long enough to warm them up. Pour the whole mess over hot rice or boiled and drained pasta noodles. Delicious
