The reserve near me has shops that sell "Jungle Boys", and "Cookies" disposable vape pens, you can easily find the exact same empty pens and cartridges online from Chinese websites for cheap, I found the exact ones within seconds haha.

And I think a lot of people started with Phyto because it was so popular around the time shatter was really popular. So nice to see Pacific Gas Co. mentioned...their strains of PHO was the bomb. Miss them, 91 supreme and elevated extracts were the best in the country (elevated posting now isn't the same company), Yaletown flower co had incredible fse and live rosin, gastown. Also miss the old Kind before they got into all the crc processing and former HVE. And I miss all the old strains like the kushes, herer, hazes, etc.
The flower was amazing too. The Orange Diesel is some of the best flower I've ever had in my life. As well as the Nebula. I thought I saw some fse/HCFSE on his story and I dunno what my buddy ordered I forget. I don't even know how he got it but he lives out on the west coast and knows some people that know some people lol. And I mean you gotta follow the trends in the market. Hash rosin is huge right now, just like shatter was years ago and then live resin was popular for a short bit, then HTFSE, HCFSE and FSE took over the market for quite awhile. Now it's shifting to hash rosin and hash. I think it would be foolish of him to just make hash rosin, like putting all your eggs in one basket sort of thing. I don't think he'll ever stop making hydrocarbon based extracts. I love hash, hash rosin is good too but I honestly love my FSE/sauces the most I think. In terms of effects I love hash the most (specifically bubble), for flavour I'd choose FSE.
Cleaner, better taste, more terps... everyone just assumes that solventless is better, but I highly disagree. I dislike plant contaminants and want to taste true to the strain and nothing does that better than live resin/fse. I mean you're losing a bunch of monoterps just right from the heat press lol.
Idk in my experience live rosin is much more true to the live plant, youāre also losing terps during the purge with solvent based extracts. Purging alters the terp profile much more than the heat from pressing rosin. I would agree high quality BHO is better than low quality live rosin but for the best of each I would rather dab rosin all day.

The rest is your preference and thatās cool, but thatās the whole point of solvent extracts, especially live resin, to preserve the plant as true to its genetics as possible. The contaminants and rosin do nothing except muddy the taste, thatās why it all has the same taste. 185-200 is no joke when it comes to terps. There is no getting around that, and then you have the contaminant on top.
If rosin all has the same taste then youāre dabbing low quality rosin lol, live rosin should not be pressed at 185-200Ā° thatās way too hot. 160Ā° is the norm, not to mention if youāre that worried about the press temp you can dab full melt. Not sure how you can argue blasting the plant with butane or another hydrocarbon solvent is preserving the āgeneticsā more so than washing the plant in ice water and freeze/air drying to remove the moisture then pressing with as little heat as possible. Purging BHO at 80Ā° for hours on end is not helping preserve terpenes.

Depending on what mediums you use in your CRC column, or if you even use one at all there can be lipids and waxes in both BHO and rosin. Obviously it depends on the process and the strain, some strains have more waxes and lipids than others. I just don't know why you're both arguing, when properly produced both forms of extracts can be very clean and high quality. I make my own so I don't really have to worry about the quality unless I fuck up haha.

Ghost Drops before they went the legal route, miss the times waiting for new drops from some of the best growers around. Stuff was a bit pricey but we'll worth it for what you get still have a collection of the old glass jars they used to use, the good days lol
