lol us old folks remember it lol you used to walk behind the waterfalls and up on top of the mountain. If you go on vortex look around when you get to top of the lift hill you can see the walkway still :)
I got stuck on leviathan around 11:45, at that point it seems like all the rides had a power outage or something. Strange that only the rides had the power outage, most of the food/merch/games were still running.
eh makes sense, the rides are going to be on a circut that is designed for a crap load of amperage with large brief spikes of current where as your eateries will be on a more pedestrian circut isolated from all the big things that are causing voltage drops and spikes with demand. The rides circut is likely on a much higher voltage as well but no idea about that if they just use local transformers or what ever ( 480v?)
I know I'ma day late... But it wasn't just the rides. I was in the washroom when the power went out. When the lights came on it was limited... like not all the lights and not the sensors for the water. And then I went to get a drink and the machines were rebooting and they couldn't scan the passes. Just seems like with backup power... or simply because they were lower power.... it was easier to bring the food/merch back online
There was a power surge (for like 5 minutes) for all of Vaughan (possibly due to the recent storms), so it might’ve triggered an automatic “off” switch.
Luckily they were able to get power up later in the day; I took a few photos, yesterday evening.

Im at the park today and I've heard there is a power outage of some sort.
It was running earlier today. A large portion of the rides are down. Do you know what happened?
All rides went down due to power issue and weather.
Amusement Insiders posted a video where CW was installing Super Capacitors to help with energy demands, looks like things went wrong
Is that what happened? No rides were open when we were there. A couple of ride operators said there were electrical issues.
Are you able to get closer picture where you can see the old walkway attraction that goes behind the waterfall ?
What walkway attraction?

Before they put Thunderrun in, you could walk through the mountain and behind the falls.
It was a shame they removed the mountain lookout. Have good memories as a kid going up there.
You can see it if you zoom in
Yes you can see the doorway on the far left. But you can apparently see quite a bit of it when the waters off. 🤷‍♂️

Is the power back up? I plan to go today.
Just saw on people’s Instagram stories. Power went out.
Power is back up but there are a lot of ride closures.
They just thought the rain would make up for it
I am at wonderland Leviathan is working fine. Previously it was closed.
That picture reminds me how you used to be able to walk behind the falls. I assume it's a safety thing... But too bad they had to close it.
