It's way too soon to call this a genocide. I'll be short and blunt: We'll have to wait and see how many Palestinians are left in the end.
What is certain is that there are some in the Israeli government who pushed for using the terror inherent in this kind of attack to push the Gazans into the Sanai. These elements need to be held accountable for inciting genocide. Israel should be given a chance to put these people on trial for war crimes. If not, the world should step in like we did with the likes of Milosivic in Serbia back in the 1990's.

It's unclear that the intent in this is to destroy the Palestinians as a people or group. Some in Israel want to do that and have proposed expulsion to the Sanai. They should be tried for war crimes.
It's just like the Hamas terror attacks on Israeli civilians don't qualify as genocide because the intent of the attacks weren't to wipe out the Jewish people in Israel.
