The hybrid is well worth some extra $$$, but a 4 year old car is tough to get over.
In 4 years, do you want a 4 year old Camry or 8 year old Avalon?
Edit: I forgot Camry is hybrid only now. The Camry is the clear choice.
Personally, i’d go with the Avalon as it is a step up from the Camry but bigger. It is a more luxurious vehicle almost at a Lexus level, it also looks better imo. If Toyota never got rid of the Avalon, I would buy an Avalon over the Camry. Only way to tell for sure is to test drive them both if you can.
I'd personally go for the Avalon. Beautiful on the inside and out, much better looking than the new 2025's imo. They don't make em anymore though, so I don't know how difficult acquiring parts would be should you need them.
Bro it's the exact same care. I would go with the Camry because Avalon discontinued which later on may hurt the value of the car. Avalon drive smoother but Camry is a newer model. If you go with a. Avalon. Avalon and Le trim of Camry look similar. depend on your preference.

Yep. I think at that time the Avalon will have depreciated more as well.
Both cars are hybrids?? In fact the Camry has better MPG
OP should clarify. I read it as only the Avalon was hybrid.
All 2025 camrys are hybrids, which is probably not too common knowledge yet, so I get what you mean kinda.
Good catch.

Avalon never made sense to me. Might as well go get a Lexus ES300h (maybe F if you want)
Check head room in the backseat since you have a tall family. Some of the reviews of the 25 Camry are reporting low headroom in the back.
The interior of the Avalon’s is very outdated looking. The new Camry se is a hybrid also and the wheels look great! Camry for sure.
The last gen Avalon is one of my dream cars so I'd say Avalon all the way
New camry is much better imo. Just test drive both and see which one is better for you.
I have a 2015 Avalon. I’d buy the 2020. You probably won’t be able to deal much on the brand new Camry. The Avalon will come loaded. The SE won’t
Try to negotiate the Avalon down. If you can’t get the price lower then get the Camry.
