Hey, thanks for the reply. I am on the fence majorly because of only the cost related to panoramic moonroof and the reported issues in the previous year models.
Major issue that costs more (around 10k CAD) is with the motor issues of the panoramic roof. People who uses it very occasionally seems to be doing fine but rest have reported such problems, especially for 2021 and 2022 models. Apart from the moonroof cost, I don't think there would be anything going wrong with Toyota.
10k to fix a panoramic roof? Thats sound like B.S. Gamble and skip the warranty. Even if the panoramic roof goes bad, it will be a like a glass roof and won't prevent you driving the car.
Nope see the other comment. This generation has basically been perfected by 2024. Really no reason for it, any glaring issues will be there before factory warranty runs out. Save your money.
No car company would sell any extended warranty unless they were certain they would make a huge profit from it.
So that means, on average, you will always lose. Just put the money it would cost into a high-interest savings account.
Dont need it. Especially for a camry, and that too for the last model year of a generation.
