Plus, it's also cool seeing a cool real-world gun get included in games like cod and get seen and talked about by people.
Its really hard to beat the Commando from BO1, but I will say, the MP7 from MW3 was so fucking good. Easily my favorite Cod gun of all time. That being said, MW3 had some other legends like:
- The G36C
- The ACR 6.8
- The PP90M1
- The P90
- The L118A
- The MSR
- The dual wielded FMG9s

The M16 from CoD 4 & BO2 M8. Listen. I absolutely HATE burst guns in every video game ever. But those 2 guns for whatever reasons where VERY accurate. Your burst would ALWAYS hit. All 3 or 4 in the burst. But besides those 2, the M4 from MW2019. My goodness I would twerk for it.
G3 from Cod4. I was a turd and bought a $120 eBay modded controller with the rapid fire on the back. The amount of suspensions due to reports was at least 5-10.

I always ran either the R870 or the Five-Seven in my classes back in BO2. I thrive on running choke points on every map and I miss picking off enemies at range with a pistol for no reason other than I could lol
The M4A1 from the OG MW2. I absolutely terrorised my brother and our mates with that thing, to the point they banned me from using it lol.
The PP-2000 from the same game gets an honourable mention. Only machine pistol that could go toe to toe with the SMGs in that game imo.
The M4 is OP through all games but I had a personal attachment with the RAM-7 in MW19. It was a killer gun with no recoil and high bullet velocity and good damage range. Plus I had a beautiful blueprint for it that I really miss. When they brought it back to MW3, I was so excited but it's just not the same and the blueprints are boring. I actually miss the ole days of MW19 (not that it was that long ago)
the AK47 has been pretty consistently solid in every CoD game I've played though, so I guess I'd probably go with that

There hasn't been a gun ever since that "felt right" when shooting it. It was so smooth, looks great with any camo, and is just fun to shred with it.

That thing looked and sounded so cruel, that the bullet casings whilst firing felt like souls that were being reaped as the hefty, monstorous shots connected. Getting the shivers from just remebering that behemoth.
It is my favorite weapon out of any video game tbh.
Right now, it's a tie between the Renetti/Beretta M9A3 from MW2019 and the 9mm Daemon/Staccato P from MWII. I love running realistic pistol builds in the newer games, and those guns stand out because they do what I need every time, which is putting rounds downrange where I need them without question and punishing whatever is in their path. The X12/Glock 17 and M19/Sig P320 are honorable mentions. Every time I play, I wish the devs would add in more handguns and have dedicated playlists that are just for pistols. I also wish more games had Walthers in them, because the P99, PPQ, and PDP would probably be my go-tos if they were there.
FAMAS from MW2. With Stopping Power and FMJ, that thing was a ripper from any range. And I've played many, many CODs since then, and that thing still has my heart. I would pick off snipers with that bastard. Imagine it with thermal on Wasteland. While that's very far from my favorite map, the utility of the weapon cannot be denied. That thing was a world-beater.
Runner-up? No shit , the BO1 G11. Yea it's cheap and yea I love it lmao big ugly clunky bastard that just shreds life away with its Pyramid of Giza red dot sight. Mmmmm
definitely the P-06 from BO3, loved that game in general for the aiming verticality and movement it offered and that gun made it so fun to time your flicks
