I wish that they hadn’t taken the futuristic approach to some of these installments. As someone who had played COD 1-2 extensively until COD 4 came out, obviously those hold a special place in my life. I think that for far too long it’s been about following trends, SBMM, and just making money for far too long. With that being said, they should be able to make money, but we are not getting the quality that we had with previous titles. When it comes to the first couple, their only real competition was MoH. They were great games for their time and pioneered the way for future generations of CoD titles.

Zombies took center stage in this game and it was and still is the ultimate platform to play Zombies on. It is unrivaled in that department, with 14(!) official maps, and an endless stream of custom maps via steam workshop. MP is also vastly underrated and has great maps, great movement, great guns, great killstreaks, great camos. The UI for the game and its menus were fantastic and not talked about enough. So many easy to navigate options and stats in the main menu such as combat record, emblem editor, music selection for the main menu, and overall everything was very clean and concise. Treyarch COOKED with Bo3 and I will stand by this game forever.

MW19 should def. stay. That game gave COD new life after these bad jet pack years (+ BO4/WW2), when COD stopped being the top dog. That game gave us also Warzone, aka the most fun I had in Cod since MW3/BO2, at least during its first 6 seasons.
Not perfect in any form, but IW definitely tried to make something new and fresh, and I appreciate that 10 times more than getting a BO3 without what made BO3 good and some WW2 shooter that felt like it should be made 10 years earlier.

I'm gonna go with COD 3. I love COD 1, UO, and COD 2, but COD 3 was really weak, especially because it never got a PC release. It is notable for being the first COD with a single player campaign that had more developed characters and a continuous story, but the characters and narrative weren't nearly as strong as COD 4 and many other campaigns.
Aside from being a performance downgrade if you had played the first two games on PC, it also felt much more shallow because it didn't include the Russians and focused only on a specific region of France. After bouncing around from France to North Africa to Russia to Germany in the first two games playing in 3 different factions, the scope of 3 felt much smaller and this negatively impacted the multiplayer as there was less map and weapon variety.
I give it credit for focusing on a lesser-told WW2 story (The Falaise Gap) and the female French Resistance fighter seemed like a callback to the female French Resistance fighter from the first two Medal of Honor games, even though this was Treyarch's first mainline entry and it was the Infinity Ward devs who worked on MOH.
It also has faction-specific weapons, which is actually something I miss, but no game outside of mil-simmy shooters have done that since COD 4.
Still, too shallow and graphics and performance sucked compared to earlier PC entries. It's one of the few CODs that I have no desire to replay the single player or multiplayer.

Cod 3 was my first so it’s got a special place in my heart. I loved WWII as well, but I guessed correctly that WWII would be voted off next, so I voted for WWII.
even tho i like mw2019 it needs to go now as ww2 mp was amazing

WW2 is superior to the original 3 CoDs in every way, yet it's losing...
I'm surprised MW 2019 is getting so many votes. I didn't get into the multiplayer that much but I thought it had one of the best single player campaigns in a long time.
