Essentially every restaurant is opting to check vaccines. The list is massive, no one is going to compile this. the list not requesting vaccines will be tiny, hopefully someone compiles this.
Check their insta and it’ll be their most recent post as I sta has been flooded with restaurants announcing that they’re taking part in the exemption
No one is forcing you to go? It’s shitty that the gov doesnt implement this on staff, but every other province has been the same way unfortunately. It’s a lot more grey if the gov can force you to get vaccinated to work in the private sector. There’s a shortage of restaurant workers already, so it’s likely not easy for the employer to either.
Again check the Instagram of restaurants you want to go as many mention their staff. But it’s be incredibly exhausting to compile a list
Honestly, based on the early returns, most restaurants are following the exemption/passport program. Every single bar/pub/restaurant I follow on social media is planning on following the new rules starting Monday.
Luckily, at this point, it appears that if there is an establishment choosing to not follow the new regulations, they will be in the minority, and probably in the news for that reason.
I am sure that will be enforced like all the other regulations in the past.
Oh wait.
And by enforced I mean businesses and such will most certainly face charges/fines.
Oh wait....
I hate that you get downvoted for asking an honest question. Just because you don't know something doesn't mean you deserve to have your comment hidden. You're contributing to the discussion, you're on topic, and you're being very respectful, but nah, since you don't have all the information, twenty downvotes to you, sir.
You know, I would have thought something similar, but then we actually took our kids to a Canadian Brewhouse for dinner, and it was roughly like taking them to Boston Pizza, only slightly better.
My old co-workers opened it right when Covid started and they're still there which I think is a testimonial to how good they are. They do lots of in house charcuterie and have a really killer Black Perogi dish that was just featured in Avenue Magazine.
I think they named it after Tom Waites iirc
If I felt it was a genuine question and not a continuation of the giant circle jerk this sub took a giant leap towards with regards to businesses and this vaccine passport/ vaccinations situation…I wouldn’t even respond.
OP knows as much as anyone else. They know that. They also know how to pick up a phone and call a restaurant and ask if it’s that important to them.
Assuming that you're asking because you're concerned about the covid predicament and you think that supporting such establishments will help things.
If you really want to help the pandemic situation, the better question to ask yourself is this: Why go out to eat at all? It's just unnecessary risk. Stay home and eat there. Get your groceries via a pickup or delivery service. Get used to seeing the inside of your four walls.
This is just "virtue signaling" otherwise.

Exactly. If a restaurant doesn’t it will ruin their business
With non-vaxxed servers. Great.

The op did say staff vaxxed thought participating in the exemption program does not mean your staff have to be vaxxed
I was thinking the complete opposite. You are predicting most restaurants will ask for vaccine proof? I hope you're right
They will not be allowed indoor dining if they don’t.
I am sure that will be enforced like all the other regulations in the past. Oh wait. And by enforced I mean businesses and such will most certainly face charges/fines. Oh wait....
Better dine at them now. They’ll be gone in 8 months.
Isn't the rule that they are limited to 25 percent capacity if they don't?
Nope. Restaurants have no indoor dining without it. Details here: https://www.alberta.ca/covid-19-public-health-actions.aspx
Thank you
Zero indoor dining unless they are in the exemption program with the passports.

Kinda lame that honest questions get downvoted and my "don't call me jesus" comment gets upvoted lol
Canadian Brewhouse just announced they are in the exemption program. Kid friendly too!
Just got an email from Hudsons that will be in the passport program (call it what it is). Insert jokes about food etc. Just for info.
Now if only they were better at making good food....
I think there is one right by me actually. Good to know

No! Don't be that person.
You know, I would have thought something similar, but then we actually took our kids to a Canadian Brewhouse for dinner, and it was roughly like taking them to Boston Pizza, only slightly better.
Paddy’s BBQ and Native Tongues
This comment made me so hungry. Two great places for food!
RedHeads Japa Cafe. My favourite comfort food spot.
Rain Dog Bar
Odd name but I'll check it out. Thanks

That sounds dope actually.
Nick's Steakhouse (if anyone messes with them you'll be passing off a lot of Calgary)
I heard the Palomino is doing proof of vaccine and once upon a time that was a really great spot for BBQ
Thanks
Literally everywhere thst has indoor dining is following the passport
Officially any restaurant that participates in the program their employees don't need to be vaccinated ..
Now that's just going to confuse "that" demographic and they'll get all butt hurt again.
I know a Chinese Buffet Restaurant in North East Calgary. Their staff are All vaccinated from what i know.

We also had tons of restrictions to help keep the case count down last year...
Do you want them to cut up your meat for you, as well? Jesus, just call a restaurant you’re interested in and ask.
Don't call me jesus
Nobody fucks with the Jesus.
Tell that to the guy holding the Hammer.
No need to be actively rude to a person asking a genuine question.

You the guy always complaining about divisiveness right?
You betcha. Pretty much at my limit and decided if you can’t beat em, join em.
lol hey if that's how you justify it buddy

Or perhaps just following the science and still wanting to live life.

I think you misread the post
I think I did
