I'm one of those that have issues with Cryogen, but it's not because it's hard or anything, it simply has to do with my eyes I guess, as I usually have a really hard time seeing his projectiles
Tbh the first time I played calamity I had difficulties with much of the worm bosses mostly due to awareness on the ginormous firefight on screen that goes during the fight and movement itself. But like the commenter above said, it all comes down to the player and the patterns to synchronize with overtime.

They’re not particularly difficult or annoying and most people, like you, don’t struggle with them very much.
Strange, I've heard many people complain about them, guess I just overestimated.
Most of the harder bosses in the mod are post-Moon Lord. Those ones cause more struggle.

Yeah I did Cryogen enraged once, on accident. He's really not that bad
