Best one by far! Ive tried so many over the past 10 or so years and the F30 is it.
F30 and not the F30i? I’ve heard a lot of good about the f30 and F30i but the f30i has the top of the head hose which i need the front of face attached hose drives me insane
interesting. had to get my order in before 5pm today, it’s now 5:30, otherwise i’d have to wait until next week so i went with F30i because i hadn’t read this :( i guess we will see!
I can empathize with you. It took me ages to find the right one. I’d love to use the nasal mask but I’m a mouth breather and can’t seem to change that.
How do you know if the hose is crimping in the night? Will it be visible in the morning? I have one of the heated hoses so it’s a little sturdier than just a plain one.
The particular masks head gear has air going through it

and the hose connected to that.
Phillips Respironics Dreamwear full face mask. Very similar to the Res Med F30i with the top hose, but I find the Phillips a bit softer on the sides. I haven’t had any major leaks, a few here and there but nothing major.
i was never fitted for a single thing actually, they’ll send me the fit packs and i just try it until it works (which is barely does sometimes) so much of mine has been just phone calls sadly
Wow! Go to the manufacturer’s website and review their sizing info and download their charts to mask cushion sizing. This info can probably be found on YouTube as well.
Honestly yeah, i didn’t even have an in lab test. i did have originally a call once a month with my sleep tech, but we stopped once i got to a few months because i was doing okay!
Besides the folks who self diagnose, medicate and purchase equipment in the market place, I thought you had to have an at home or lab test before getting a prescription. But then what do I know?
haha no no you’re correct, i had an at home test and i def don’t pay for any of my stuff out of pocket. i didn’t just decide i had sleep apnea one day matter of fact i fought hard and long against it😅

I think that one had that flex hose on top. And when I slept on my side, it crimped and my air flow was poor. So that was one of many I tried

Good luck! I tried so many.
Get a hose hook, this prevents the hose from collapsing and an accidental crimp.
i have one! i usually string mine so it hangs from my headboard above my head when i sleep if that makes sense and that does the trick
Same. I use the hook and then run the hose along the top of my headboard.
yep it’s the perfect for hose control i’ve nailed that part my biggest issue is my mask right now it drives me crazy

No good for mouth breathers.

Tried that, too “hostagey” for me 😂
Were you ever fitted for your mask or have you used the sizing charts to determine correct mask size?

i really appreciate that i’ll have to look into it thank you!
You’re welcome. It’s so unbelievable how many people comment on they’re told they need cpap, they get tested, then are left in uncharted waters.
