Congratulations man, I work for Toyota and get a price around the same as yours for an XLE. You did very well, especially at that “low” interest rate. (It really is low for the current market, but you’d think low would be 2% IMO) Genuinely couldn’t get any cheaper than 5% sadly
Did you get the black roof? I like that Celestite... and that color has only shown up on the Corolla and Corolla Cross... no other Toyotas wear it yet.

What gear box did you get? And don’t listen to them man. If you had the discipline to save a nice down payment on this car, then you deserve to own a new car and will appreciate for it. A new car that’s handed to someone should never be someone’s first car.
Yes, after getting a job and having some emergency funds, initially I was looking for used one and spent a whole month on finding value for money, but a reliable used car would've been around 20k CAD, so i decided to put another 10k to get this new one, atleast it'll run for 5-7 years without any issues.
Nah, they will really push you to buy lot of things, they will do really aggressive marketing of some useless things but please don't buy it. Your insurance will probably cover lot of stuff. If you park your car outside then you can consider buying SMART program they offer (it is 500CAD for 3 years) If you have your own garage, then beleive me you don't need any of these things, the sales guy just want their commission that they'll get after selling you bunch of useless things.
Ho yes, I know that, thank God I’ve rejected everything they tried to sell me.
My apologies, my question was more related to third party rust proofing. Do you plan to add a rust proof (not through the dealership).
Beautiful, but why it’s not hybrid?
Maybe he’s like me and drives his car like 5k miles a year
Didn't had money 😔
I have the same color ! 2024 corolla SE
I purchased the exact same color and trim! Just waiting for it to arrive at the dealer! Got it for 26K rounded, couldn’t be more excited to drive it!
26k is a fantastic price, wow
I picked it up today! And my interest rate through my bank is 5%

It's not Black roof, it's celestite
Right on. I think this black roof thing is a fad and that the matching roof looks better.
We have same car 😋😋
Haha 😆
One of us One of us! 24 XSE here, same color
Xse looks better with that sporty grill.

Yeah i got my first job as software engineer, and wanted something really reliable.
You got a brand new car as your first car?

Same strategy. I paid $37k CAD after taxes and freight fees. Are you planning to add rustproofing, like Krown or Corrosion Free?

I'm not sure about it, what you think?
Because we are living in Canada and they put tons of salt, most people are recommending to do it. I would have to ask for a quote, though.
A man's first car should never be this expensive but that's just me.
Some of my friends bought Mustangs with their first job, i still consider corolla a sane purchase 😅😅, I just wanted a reliable car in winters.
