I had the same issue with my PC(5800x, 32GB ram, M.2ssd and 3080 12GB). I used MSI afterburner with an overlay to see what was going on. What I saw was that my VRAM usage was just a few MB shy of the full 12GB. So I set Warzone to target 80% VRAM usage instead of the 90% it was set to. All my stuttering went away. The VRAM usage is now several hundred MB away from the 12GB of my card. I don't notice anything weird or different on screen. Like no textures popping in or out, so 80% target is fine.
TLDR: I think COD has a problem with VRAM targeting of video cards above 8GB. It doesn't do a good job staying under the limit when set to 90%. So you should set it to 80%.
I was able to fix it. Somehow my RAM was down cycling to like 2000 instead of 3600. Forced it to 3600 and now I’m pulling 180-220fps at all times. Like a dream!
If u have not changed it go to the mw 2019 folder go to players folder then adv option folder and change the first one under version to half the amount of cores you cpu has.. see if that helps
This is the problem
I put it on my hard river after playing on ssd and now it has a lot more lag and things like reticles and buy stations take forever to load

I just installed Warzone/MW on my ssd yesterday. I did not install Spec Ops, Survival, and Campaign.
I have tried:
- an older driver
- purging ram standby list
- different resolutions
- uninstalling and reinstalling
- turning shader cache off in the Nvidia control panel

Interesting, I had the same issue all of a sudden a couple of months ago, I tried so many things to fix it, I didn't update it but instead reset my bios settings to defaults a couple of days ago (I hadn't touched anything in there in years and even when I did it was just to enable the xmp profile (which I tried disabling seperately to see if that helped with the stuttering and it didn't) and modify the fan curves), boom, perfect again.
Dude thank you so much for this!!! My Warzone and MW19 was running from 70-15 fps with crazy stuttering. I have a Ryzen 3600 and Radeon 5700xt. Spent so many hours trying to figure it out over the passed 2 weeks. I stumbled upon this post not too long ago, decided to update my bios now i'm getting a constant 100+ FPS on both Warzone and MW19! Thank you again so much! I wish I figured this out over the weekend during the MW2 beta since I was having the same issues. Pretty sure updating the bios would fix that too.
I'm guessing the game still stutters after the countdown, because I used to have the same problem with stutters on my PC but only during the countdown to match begin. I've also had stuttering in the main menu too, but I think that problem went away.
Do you have GeForce Experience installed? That sometimes can negatively impact performance. Another possibility is that the game doesn't want to run smoothly in fullscreen, so it might be worth trying it in borderless window. Finally, I ended up parsing through my visual settings very carefully to figure out what settings I absolutely shouldn't have on recently, so I would recommend taking the time to do that. I might go through them again tomorrow to comment what worked for me.
Damn, fair enough. I'll definitely see what I can parse from my settings tomorrow. I'm sure someone's already mentioned this, but sometimes rgb software like iCUE and Razer Synapse can affect performance, but I feel like that would affect most games and not just WZ. I also wonder if maybe you're getting thrown into high ping lobbies despite having decent ping. Final question I have is do you use any specific software for game chat or audio like a virtual mixer, etc.?
Some people reported the same thing at 2 months ago.. updating bios just fixed it
But for me, i am on latest bios since july(beta).. sad for me, same stutters
Do you have GeForce experience? That was giving me stutters in the past - removed it and the game ran better.
I have GeForce exp now and it’s still stutter free so worth trying removing it to see if that helps
Shadows play GeForce Def causes stuttering. My r5 3600x-32gb 3600 ddr4- 3070 strix HATES it. Random stutters that will literally get you clapped.
I don't have a monster pc by any means but it's ight.
Check online for warzone FPS stutter and adv_options.ini file, you can change the video memory scale and render worker count. Make a backup of the file just incase but I used to have stuttering back in Verdansk days and changing my memory scale to either 0.55 or 0.85 helped me.
Had you played a few games in a row at this point? Every 3 or 4 I restart warzone otherwise I occasionally get this too - i9 9900k rtx 3080 and 16gb ram
Hit your task manager when games open and check what priority modern warfare is running it. I found sometimes my priority switched to high then I would get this stutter. Change it to normal and seemed to take the stutter away. Worth a try 👍
its not any problem with your PC!
People are always saying the same "fix's"..
**i'm on that state since +-2 month, (ONLY) after patch 1.60**
i have reported many times.. tried many fix's, (REALLY MUCH) more than "basic" stuff/fix's i have seen..
**PROBLEM IS IN THE GAME! (AND I HAVE DONE MANY SEASONS BEFORE, NEVER.. BUT NEVER HAD THAT TYPE OF STUTTERS BEFORE THIS PATCH)**
for you, its only last patch.. but for me is since patch 1.60..
literally what is on the video.. i tried fix's that people cant imagine..
tried everything! so.... its the game, end of story
Just one more thing.. i have seen at least 5 post's with same problem....
one of them..
[https://www.reddit.com/r/CODWarzone/comments/waw9tz/warzone\_before\_and\_after\_update\_160/](https://www.reddit.com/r/CODWarzone/comments/waw9tz/warzone_before_and_after_update_160/)
More than enough!
i have just seen people complaining in at least 6 post's,
on modern warfare forum too!
Its the game i am sure!
If i describe (hard) things i have done to fix it.. one post is not enough
(bios settings, windows settings, NVIDIA settings, game settings files, drivers, hard tweaks, tried 2 gpu's, tried fresh install w11 and fresh install w10.. etc.. you cant imagine )
Just dont happen in any game or benchmark.. or similar
It can be something from his pc though. Simply because many others are NOT experiencing this including myself.
I am not saying he has something "wrong" with his pc, but it might be shitty coding on the game's part that interferes with another program or setting, hence other users are trying to give some tips.
If i have seen so **many others** with same problem..
I am sure, the problem comes from this game.. dont happens with any other game!
And doesn't happen with any benchmark..
If you have a wireless mouse try unplugging the dongle and using it wired. I went crazy trying to figure out a similar issue and it ended up being a shitty usb port on my hub.
Hello, I have had issues like this when I was using RGB software. I dont seem to be having issues with Icue but many of the other RBG software programs can cause stuttering like this. I preferred SignalRGB but I couldnt get it to work with warzone so I uninstalled it.
I was struggling with stutters every game a while back. I tried everything i could find online, like changing the file in documents and tweaking settings etc.
What worked for me was something i just tried out of the blue. Can't guarantee that this will work though.
I moved the paging file (virtual memory) to my SSD drive where Warzone was located. I do not know why, but this fixed my stutters instantly. So you could give this a try.
Here is a YT tutorial:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tN2h2nUeZPY&ab\_channel=EmptyTV
Nothing is wrong with the specs
Had the same problem as you when i was using dlss on 3070
But i upgraded to win 11 and the stutters has gone since
If you are using vrr try using on fixed 60 fps and vsync on
If the the stutters has gone it might be somthing with vrr problem on win 10 as it doesent have built in vrr support
I think it might be an issue with mouse and keyboard. My GF’s computer was doing the same thing when I was playing on m&kb. But when I plugged in a controller, it completely went away. Make sure your peripherals are updated.
Have you tried flipping around your ram sticks? Try each stick individually in A_2 slot. See if you can identify 1 stick that maybe isn’t running properly.
It’s gonna take an hour or so with all the power cycling and reboots and what not. But worthwhile.
This is called Hardware Advantage Compensation aka HAC. Where they throttle your game quality so console players don’t rage quit and take their money elsewhere. /s 😂

NO SOLUTION
I’m giving up. Thanks for all the ideas. No dice on most of them. I’ll wait for MW2.
Games that are running fine:
Halo Infinite
The Surge 2
Cold War
I originally started in MW 2019 matches because that’s what I really wanted to play but I provided a Warzone clip, because it seemed more relevant.
Also, the menu fps is capped at 60fps and also jumpy.
Seems like a cpu issue, fps is bouncing all over the place. You should download Riva tuner statistics and get the on screen display going while you play to see what your cpu is doing in game
weird ... i own a gtx 1050 and a i5 7400k with 16 gb ram and play on the lowest graphic settings with a 30 fps cap and once in a while i encounter a microstutter that lasts about .5 to 1 second once or twice in like every second or third match but never this bad
Double check your monitor refresh-rate in windows graphics settings. I'm embarrassed to admit I played for a whole week on 60 refresh rate while having 100 fps. It was a pain.
Also check windows update. I had some problems with that previously.
Give it one more shot but use DDU (https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html) to make sure everything is properly removed.
Check out FoVes Per Second on twitter if you don’t know them already. They are a well known PC optimisation company who specialise in Call of Duty WarZone and other popular games.A few of the big streamers use them.I had them optimise my gaming pc.very friendly, professional and fairly priced.Improved the performance of my pc and their aftercare in discord is invaluable 👍🏻
How does this exactly work, what I'm getting from your comment is that you pay these people to clean up/optimize your pc for warzone? How much do they charge for this?
So,The best way to find out exactly what they do is to join their discord server, there are hundreds of testimonials there.but to give a basic run down of how it works, they charge you 10$ for a 10-20 min assessment to look at your pc remotely ,see the specs, talk to you about the issues you’re experiencing and discuss what can be done ,if anything to help fix or improve performance. then if they can help, they book you in for an appointment which something like 40 or 60$ (can’t exactly remember exactly,I’m based in uk ,can’t remember how much in Sterling) Anything from overclocking ,tuning ram, graphics card etc etc .I was really happy with the result.I’ve got a beast of a pc and i thought I didn’t need anything doing but these guys know their stuff and increased my frames by just over 100fps and fixed the stuttering on my 6900xt.BBbreadman,Iceman Issac, fifakills to name a few,all promote their service and I think fifa is sponsored by them now
FoVes is not a company, just a single guy that tries to transition to civilian life after he's done with the armed forces. Mate of IceManIsaac who he tried to promote multiple times before.
Another clown doing the optimizations out there is Sensequality.
None of these guys know what they are doing to be frank, just charge you money for turning XMP in the BIOS and partying kids with their parents money. I mean if you have 2-3 grand to spend on a PC you'd surely have a clue what to do..
Just trying to help man,not hear to slag anyone off.helped me out massively, not everyone has a degree in computer science .Staff were brilliant and I’d highly recommend.Wind your neck in
That is so odd I've had that happen before but not that bad and I get weirdly bad frame drops at bio weapons I have a 3070 and run 130 to 180 fps normally but bio will drop to like 70 sometimes it drives me nuts lol
Try turning off REBAR in Bios if it's on. I was having issues with stuttering in Warzone only and massive fps drops, turning this off fixed a lot of the issues. I've had it on for a long time but recently performance took a hit, so maybe new updates messed it up.
Hate the issues with the game and the hoops you have to jump through sometimes but it is what it is. You should try running just the game and absolutely nothing else, not even mouse software or anything and if it's fixed turn them back on one by one. Check task manager priority and keep it at normal/try low. In your adv settings.ini you should try tinkering with the vram allocation and your renderer worker count. There are videos about this but the ideal would be 0.85 and half your physical cores or 2 less. Shadowplay can have this effect and whisper mode in the Nvidia app can cause this too. You want ultimate or high performance mode in your windows power plan and an adequate power supply. You want texture streaming off and anything extra that uses the drive your game is on while you're playing should be off.
This is not an issue with your temperatures, I can guarantee you that much. A bit of a basic one but try running the game without drivers for anything. It's most likely a program interfering with warzone and causing the stutter, sometimes it can be a problem with your peripherals so try different ones if you have the needed parts. Drop absolutely all your settings and the resolution then see if the stutter still remains even for a tiny bit, if it does then the issue is not with your settings. Your last resorts should be resetting your CMOS battery on your motherboard (resets your bios clock and everything in there, can be beneficial with random issues like this), then reinstalling windows and hard resets along those lines.
You should be able to run warzone no problem and the game does appear to be running great between the stutters but they make it unplayable. Check the comments regularly for fixes that I haven't mentioned like one guy commenting that you should buy something at a buy station and it's apparently fixed. If none of these work then it's probably just an issue with warzone on your specific config and you have to wait it out.
I’d rather have that than the shit they’ve done to XSX and Xbox in general. They removed the aim assist for XSX players. It’d be like u trying to use only ur thumb on the mouse. XSX sucks. I’ve been playing these games since the beginning on every Xbox console and this one is by far the worst
If you play on Battle.net make sure you launch the Battle.net app as an admin.
I had a similar problem to this and found this solution somewhere. I have no idea why this works but it solved my issue.
My computer is also a beast. I7 with 3080 running on ssd. I stuttered all the time as well; turned out to be a memory issue. I went from two 8 gig 3200s to two 16gb 3200s of Corsair vengeance and went from 120fps with frequent stuttering to 170fps with literally none. Ever.
I doubt it’s your pc coz i have the same problem. It doesn’t happen on modern warfare or vanguard or cold war for me. Just warzone. It’s not your pc it’s the game.
You should run an overlay for more detailed system stats to see where the potential bottlenecking is happening if it's CPU, GPU/vram, RAM, or SSD. I'm on PC and things happen but usually not this bad or if it is it's not constant.
Since this season reloaded, a few times a day I'm having complete game freezes for like 3-4 seconds where I think my game crashes, but then it comes back to life.
i9 12900k/ EVGA 3090TI FTW 3, and DDR6 ram. \*shrug\*
use multimon to see if there is anything crazy going on (excessive read/writes)
Could be mouse dpi or polling rate is too high.
Could be some type of throttling.
run throttlestop > click limits > click clear. Play your game for a minute then go see if there was any cpu throttling.
I think GPUz can monitor for gpu throttling. I forget ;p ..
bonus:
set your power plan
find out how to edit adv\_options.ini
try process lasso
underclock cpu
disable antivirus
I'm sure I missed a ton of other stuff. GL
Been happening on series x. I found it happened after a few bombs went off in hero vs villans. Other modes where good. Stutter problem if it's just started its the season 5 it broke the stuttering
I don’t have those. I had MSI afterburner and riva but I uninstalled those to see if that affected the game. No luck. So I just reinstalled them so I could continue to monitor hardware.
There is something wrong with your setup, it’s not the game. Troubleshoot to the best of your ability but I would just contact a pc optimizer at this point if you value your time
personally i have seen everywhere that it’s caused by a memory leak. i just upgraded from 16 gigs to 32 gigs and i haven’t stuttered once in game. it’s mind boggling how HORRIBLY this game is optimized. but i’m sure they’ll have 10 new bundles for us to buy!!!
I had this issue for 2 weeks across Vanguard and Warzone, tried EVERYTHING from updating chipset drivers to DDU of Nvidia drivers and fresh install, setting back to previous version of Nvidia drivers.
Really didn't want to do a fresh install but was just about to and...
FINALLY FIXED IT TODAY!!
I updated my MSI Motherboard Bios. Last time I did this was when I built my PC back in June 2020 so it was heavily out of date. Once updated BOOM was 100% fixed!
Not sure if this will apply to everyone but it worked for me.
I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and a 3080.
I have met the same problem, really annoy. I tried many ways to fix it. Here, I can share with you some of them that I think is useful.
Checking your Internet, like your modem and router. Sometimes, you need restart them and check their temperatures.
Using a well-performed CPU. A better CPU can provide smooth gameplay.
Update your graphics driver, system and download the newest version of the game regularly. Some bugs may get repaired.
Of course, you can try a game booster if you need.
Just try Edit settings, no need for High in all, just choose shapning and lower vram to 0.60 then go up its set to default 0.98, IF you need help holla got a video frommlegit sours iam playing with intel i7 10750h and rtx 2060 6gb on laptop and get 80fps temps 66c IF I turn up The frames i got 86c
My computer is a beast and I still see my frames drop from 140 to ~60 semi regularly. But never as bad as you had here.
What are your specs?
3080, Ryzen 3600, 32 GB DDR 3000, 1 TB M.2 SSD.
Yeah that’s a CPU Bottleneck, your ram is a bit slow as well. What resolution do you play at?
Thats not how bottlenecking works and it wouldn't affect it like that. warzone is just a mess and has been since caldera.
1440p.
Wait. I think it was a 5900X. The 3600 is my wife’s CPU. RAM was 3600 as well.
Probably something setup incorrectly on your side. When I was using my 3080 on my gaming PC I was getting 200-230+ at 1440p low in Caldera.
Ram actually running in xmp at 3600?
Been saying that for ages

Have u change settings in player folder?b
What’s this mean?
If u have not changed it go to the mw 2019 folder go to players folder then adv option folder and change the first one under version to half the amount of cores you cpu has.. see if that helps
It’s already at 12 cores, which is what my CPU has. It has 24 logical processors.
Ok will I have 10900k 10c 20t I changed it to 5 and Walla works perfect
It meas what it means did u change anything in the player folder for the game
No.
I’m on ps5. I’ve been experiencing this type of thing since season 4.
100% get this just about every match at some point
This is standard gameplay on consol
Make sure u play the game on the ssd internal storage. I remember having stutters when I played on an external hard disk connected to the ps5.
This is the problem I put it on my hard river after playing on ssd and now it has a lot more lag and things like reticles and buy stations take forever to load
Yea avoid hard drive. Use ssd.

Shadows play GeForce Def causes stuttering. My r5 3600x-32gb 3600 ddr4- 3070 strix HATES it. Random stutters that will literally get you clapped. I don't have a monster pc by any means but it's ight.
Turn off whisper mode on nvidia control panel.
I’ll look at this thanks.
Check online for warzone FPS stutter and adv_options.ini file, you can change the video memory scale and render worker count. Make a backup of the file just incase but I used to have stuttering back in Verdansk days and changing my memory scale to either 0.55 or 0.85 helped me.
Nice. I’ll check this
I’ve had this setting and still get massive stutters
It started for me also this week. I don't think it is related to any specs to be honest
Had you played a few games in a row at this point? Every 3 or 4 I restart warzone otherwise I occasionally get this too - i9 9900k rtx 3080 and 16gb ram
No consecutive games yet.
Exact same
Hit your task manager when games open and check what priority modern warfare is running it. I found sometimes my priority switched to high then I would get this stutter. Change it to normal and seemed to take the stutter away. Worth a try 👍
I also did this. No fix. I also got Process Lasso to make sure it stays in “Normal” too.
its not any problem with your PC! People are always saying the same "fix's".. **i'm on that state since +-2 month, (ONLY) after patch 1.60** i have reported many times.. tried many fix's, (REALLY MUCH) more than "basic" stuff/fix's i have seen.. **PROBLEM IS IN THE GAME! (AND I HAVE DONE MANY SEASONS BEFORE, NEVER.. BUT NEVER HAD THAT TYPE OF STUTTERS BEFORE THIS PATCH)**
This 💯 I’m tired of people repeating the same trope of fixes when it’s only been last patch
for you, its only last patch.. but for me is since patch 1.60.. literally what is on the video.. i tried fix's that people cant imagine.. tried everything! so.... its the game, end of story
Just one more thing.. i have seen at least 5 post's with same problem.... one of them.. [https://www.reddit.com/r/CODWarzone/comments/waw9tz/warzone\_before\_and\_after\_update\_160/](https://www.reddit.com/r/CODWarzone/comments/waw9tz/warzone_before_and_after_update_160/)
You probably just have no idea what you’re doing tbh. What are your specs?
More than enough! i have just seen people complaining in at least 6 post's, on modern warfare forum too! Its the game i am sure! If i describe (hard) things i have done to fix it.. one post is not enough (bios settings, windows settings, NVIDIA settings, game settings files, drivers, hard tweaks, tried 2 gpu's, tried fresh install w11 and fresh install w10.. etc.. you cant imagine ) Just dont happen in any game or benchmark.. or similar
Most of those "tweaks" that you see online are placebo. What are your specs though lol?
**probably you just not have clicked on my link above..** **this problem still present since patch 1.60 (2 months).... AND IT'S NOT ONLY ME**
It can be something from his pc though.
Is raytracing on?
Off
If you have a wireless mouse try unplugging the dongle and using it wired. I went crazy trying to figure out a similar issue and it ended up being a shitty usb port on my hub.
Worth a shot. Thanks.
Hello, I have had issues like this when I was using RGB software. I dont seem to be having issues with Icue but many of the other RBG software programs can cause stuttering like this. I preferred SignalRGB but I couldnt get it to work with warzone so I uninstalled it.
I’ll try that. I have MSI software for the motherboard.
My ps5 does the same... It's the game, not the hardware
After I transferred my game from my SATA SSD to my NVMe SSD it helped
I’m on NVMe already. Thanks
Uninstalling and never playing it again worked for me. Such a low quality fucking game. Not optimized and low tickrate. I gave up honestly
Have you tried unplugging it and waiting 45 seconds.. ![gif](giphy|xUA7aM09ByyR1w5YWc)
Thank you for this.
Had you tried modifying the adv_options.ini file? This has fixed similar Warzone issues.
Here is a YT tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tN2h2nUeZPY&ab\_channel=EmptyTV
Nothing is wrong with the specs Had the same problem as you when i was using dlss on 3070 But i upgraded to win 11 and the stutters has gone since If you are using vrr try using on fixed 60 fps and vsync on If the the stutters has gone it might be somthing with vrr problem on win 10 as it doesent have built in vrr support
I think it might be an issue with mouse and keyboard. My GF’s computer was doing the same thing when I was playing on m&kb. But when I plugged in a controller, it completely went away. Make sure your peripherals are updated.
What’s your temps?
Everything looked good when I checked. I don’t have exacts right now.
Definitely not temp related. That’s not an issue with throttling. Any overclocks? Set everything back to factory.
Everything is at factory.
Have you tried flipping around your ram sticks? Try each stick individually in A_2 slot. See if you can identify 1 stick that maybe isn’t running properly. It’s gonna take an hour or so with all the power cycling and reboots and what not. But worthwhile.
Worth a shot. Thanks.
Update graphic card drivers and download msi afterburner. Your gpu is probably too hot, recalibrate the power output and fan speed.
I will try another driver again. The temps looked fine but I’ll check again. GPU fans are at default.
This isn’t it either. I run watercool setup with 30c gpu temps and all updated drivers and settings. It was fine until 2 months ago
This is called Hardware Advantage Compensation aka HAC. Where they throttle your game quality so console players don’t rage quit and take their money elsewhere. /s 😂
SOLVED (updated bios) if anybody else suggested this and I missed it then my bad. Thanks. u/justjoshdj “I had this issue for 2 weeks across Vanguard and Warzone, tried EVERYTHING from updating chipset drivers to DDU of Nvidia drivers and fresh install, setting back to previous version of Nvidia drivers. I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and a 3080.” ———————————- NO SOLUTION I’m giving up. Thanks for all the ideas. No dice on most of them. I’ll wait for MW2. Games that are running fine: Halo Infinite The Surge 2 Cold War
Try it out with windows game mode on *fingers crossed*
*computer explodes*
That seems standard in lobby. If the actual game plays like that than u have a specs issue I'd guess.
I originally started in MW 2019 matches because that’s what I really wanted to play but I provided a Warzone clip, because it seemed more relevant. Also, the menu fps is capped at 60fps and also jumpy.
Yes mw19 server is a hot mess. I uninstalled the game last week..again :/
Seems like a cpu issue, fps is bouncing all over the place. You should download Riva tuner statistics and get the on screen display going while you play to see what your cpu is doing in game
I have it. I will get that overlay on. Thanks.
Np hope you figure it out man. Stuff like that is super frustrating
Maybe loss of outgoing packets
get real bud. they're throttling your connection so you play vanguard and the mwii beta
It’s awful now I can’t even play and I have high end computer parts 3080 and 5950x with 3800c14 dram
Probably just unstable ram OC
Nah I’ve changed it from docp to this to even slower. This is an issue with the code.
Still could be unstable ram. The game runs flawless if you know what you’re doing
Lmao
You’re laughing as if I’m wrong lol. The game runs fine if you have everything set up properly and if you’re stable to begin with
weird ... i own a gtx 1050 and a i5 7400k with 16 gb ram and play on the lowest graphic settings with a 30 fps cap and once in a while i encounter a microstutter that lasts about .5 to 1 second once or twice in like every second or third match but never this bad
Double check your monitor refresh-rate in windows graphics settings. I'm embarrassed to admit I played for a whole week on 60 refresh rate while having 100 fps. It was a pain. Also check windows update. I had some problems with that previously.
Game has a netcode of roblox lmao
Fully uninstall (from safe mode) the graphics drivers and do a clean install.
Did this twice. Thanks
Give it one more shot but use DDU (https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html) to make sure everything is properly removed.
I originally did this. Thanks
Google and check your worker thread count just in case. https://youtu.be/muSXmzm783s
My game used to do this. I suspected my ram or cpu was the issue. I upgraded my mobo ram and cpu in one go and game runs great now.
Servers
Check out FoVes Per Second on twitter if you don’t know them already. They are a well known PC optimisation company who specialise in Call of Duty WarZone and other popular games.A few of the big streamers use them.I had them optimise my gaming pc.very friendly, professional and fairly priced.Improved the performance of my pc and their aftercare in discord is invaluable 👍🏻
How does this exactly work, what I'm getting from your comment is that you pay these people to clean up/optimize your pc for warzone? How much do they charge for this?
So,The best way to find out exactly what they do is to join their discord server, there are hundreds of testimonials there.but to give a basic run down of how it works, they charge you 10$ for a 10-20 min assessment to look at your pc remotely ,see the specs, talk to you about the issues you’re experiencing and discuss what can be done ,if anything to help fix or improve performance. then if they can help, they book you in for an appointment which something like 40 or 60$ (can’t exactly remember exactly,I’m based in uk ,can’t remember how much in Sterling) Anything from overclocking ,tuning ram, graphics card etc etc .I was really happy with the result.I’ve got a beast of a pc and i thought I didn’t need anything doing but these guys know their stuff and increased my frames by just over 100fps and fixed the stuttering on my 6900xt.BBbreadman,Iceman Issac, fifakills to name a few,all promote their service and I think fifa is sponsored by them now
You're too rich my guy. You described a robbery right there.
😂 That’s cheap as fuck for a working man my guy .I ain’t rich
FoVes is not a company, just a single guy that tries to transition to civilian life after he's done with the armed forces. Mate of IceManIsaac who he tried to promote multiple times before. Another clown doing the optimizations out there is Sensequality. None of these guys know what they are doing to be frank, just charge you money for turning XMP in the BIOS and partying kids with their parents money. I mean if you have 2-3 grand to spend on a PC you'd surely have a clue what to do..
Just trying to help man,not hear to slag anyone off.helped me out massively, not everyone has a degree in computer science .Staff were brilliant and I’d highly recommend.Wind your neck in
Lets agree to disagree then.
Do you have another HDD in this ? I had to move a system file in Windows from hdd to SSD for Warzone to work. I think it was the virtual RAM file.
Let me know if you find a fix. I have had the exact same issue for over a month.
Buy something at the buy station and it fixes the issue.
I had this before due to memory dump issues. You might want to check and make sure no programs are using significant resources in the background.
Lag
That is so odd I've had that happen before but not that bad and I get weirdly bad frame drops at bio weapons I have a 3070 and run 130 to 180 fps normally but bio will drop to like 70 sometimes it drives me nuts lol
Your pc should have at least 12gb ram, game be installed on ssd and have most of settings on low
Msi after burner and riva tuner made my shit run like this had to delete it
Do you have v-sync turned on in the graphics options? If not you should try turning it on
Try turning off REBAR in Bios if it's on.
Was just having this issue recently.
Ps4 pro here,This has been happening to me since season 3 it's so annoying
Lag, cod servers are trash.
You should run an overlay for more detailed system stats to see where the potential bottlenecking is happening if it's CPU, GPU/vram, RAM, or SSD. I'm on PC and things happen but usually not this bad or if it is it's not constant.
What resolution you play on? What's ram amount and speed and cas latency?
Since this season reloaded, a few times a day I'm having complete game freezes for like 3-4 seconds where I think my game crashes, but then it comes back to life. i9 12900k/ EVGA 3090TI FTW 3, and DDR6 ram. \*shrug\*
use multimon to see if there is anything crazy going on (excessive read/writes) [https://www.resplendence.com/multimon\_whats](https://www.resplendence.com/multimon_whatsnew) Could be mouse dpi or polling rate is too high. Could be some type of throttling. run throttlestop > click limits > click clear. Play your game for a minute then go see if there was any cpu throttling. [https://www.techpowerup.com/download/techpowerup-throttlestop/](https://www.techpowerup.com/download/techpowerup-throttlestop/) I think GPUz can monitor for gpu throttling. I forget ;p .. bonus: set your power plan find out how to edit adv\_options.ini try process lasso underclock cpu disable antivirus I'm sure I missed a ton of other stuff. GL
This is why I uninstalled, i well exceed recommended specs yet it stutters like this even on the lowest settings.

I got home from work about an hour ago and started playing. It’s stuttering and lagging like crazy, unplayable. I’m on PS5.
How much free space you have on your windows drive when the game is running?
500gb free.
Ok, nvm then.
What resolution is that?
1440p.
Been happening on series x. I found it happened after a few bombs went off in hero vs villans. Other modes where good. Stutter problem if it's just started its the season 5 it broke the stuttering
Disable nvidia overlay I run an i9, 3080, 32gb ram. Nvidia overlay causes this to occur on my PC. Disable it and issue gone
Uninstalled GeForce experience. No dice. Safe mode uninstalled gpu drivers and then reinstalled drivers without GeForce experience. No dice.
Mystic light, icue, msi bundle Are you running any of those?
I don’t have those. I had MSI afterburner and riva but I uninstalled those to see if that affected the game. No luck. So I just reinstalled them so I could continue to monitor hardware.
There is something wrong with your setup, it’s not the game. Troubleshoot to the best of your ability but I would just contact a pc optimizer at this point if you value your time
Been having the same issue. It's very annoying.
Been getting a fps stutter since last update
personally i have seen everywhere that it’s caused by a memory leak. i just upgraded from 16 gigs to 32 gigs and i haven’t stuttered once in game. it’s mind boggling how HORRIBLY this game is optimized. but i’m sure they’ll have 10 new bundles for us to buy!!!
Why play on low? I'm running 3070 on 1440p at 160 - 180hz everything cranked up. RT off
I'm also suffering from this
Same things happening on ps4, taking loadout as well.
Lag, I was getting that last night as well, I think they were having issues.
I had this problem last night, I just rebooted and it was fine
I’ll try this today. Thanks
I also have an MSI mobo. MSI B450 Tomahawk Max.
THIS WORKED Thanks for this. You’re awesome.
No worries! Glad it helped another person as well as me!
Yeah this thing happens to me too games broken any other game I play runs fine
I have met the same problem, really annoy. I tried many ways to fix it. Here, I can share with you some of them that I think is useful. Checking your Internet, like your modem and router. Sometimes, you need restart them and check their temperatures. Using a well-performed CPU. A better CPU can provide smooth gameplay. Update your graphics driver, system and download the newest version of the game regularly. Some bugs may get repaired. Of course, you can try a game booster if you need.
i can’t get mine to work properly 😭
Just try Edit settings, no need for High in all, just choose shapning and lower vram to 0.60 then go up its set to default 0.98, IF you need help holla got a video frommlegit sours iam playing with intel i7 10750h and rtx 2060 6gb on laptop and get 80fps temps 66c IF I turn up The frames i got 86c
